  • my dads birthday is on the 27th and on the 8th of march he will have been gone a year.. i remember a picture of him and his friend when he was about my age im guessing(25) but the point is it was a Sturgeon and seeing a youtuber i love catch and cook one is touching my heart already and im only a few seconds in..   • Sturgeon meat does not fall apart easily. Marinate the meat just like you would chicken or steak and grill it on some skewers. Best method for sturgeon!

  • Here in the northwest, we call it poor man's lobster, you can cut it into chunks and steam it or sauté in butter. Because of the texture it also awesome an amazing chowder. Congrats on your first sturgeon.

  • Congrats on your first sturgeon! Looks like a living fossil. Did you filet it like a normal fish? I was also interested in your opinion about eating fish from the bay. I've always been worried about toxins and heavy metals, so only fished the coast so far. The van conversion videos are awesome too!
