I have loved Mike since he hosted GSN’s Divided, one of my favorite game shows ever. He’s a natural, entertaining host.

- It’s hard for me to not be sad about Alex’s passing. We all loved him until the end. What Alex was to me, he was like the schoolteacher we all wished we had.

And as of today, Richards is out as both host and executive producer of Jeopardy! and EP of Wheel of Fortune. Talk about a downfall.

Haven't seen the his eppy hosting yet, but I can tell from the clips here, his natural posturing and how he speaks that this executive producer is truly a hidden gem. It is so rare that the big people behind the scenes can be that natural and good on camera. Truly a man who knows, nurtures and breaths his own brand and still he gives respect to all participants. Humbling.

- This isn't his first game show hosting/producing gig. In addition to hosting Pyramid and Divided over on GSN in the mid-2010s, he was the executive producer of The Price Is Right.

- I feel like mike has always been that subisute teacher of game shows. Theres always someone more popluar. I think jeopardy should be where he continues his legacy. He has many more years. Ken can drop in for the touraments and legacy episodes and such, but mike should be hosting in my personal opinion.

- As a producer of the show, he knows the show and how it works, intimately. He's a highly qualified professional. That's all. Nothing special.

I really liked Ken, Mike is doing a very good job also. Some of the guest hosts they’re talking about? Katie Couric, Dr Oz? Forget it! Maybe Ken and Mike could share hosting duties. 🧐

- I agree, I think he actually did a better job than either Ken Jennings or Katie Couric. I was expecting that Ken would be the best choice to replace Alex, and while he wasn't bad, he wasn't great. Mike's years of familiarity with the workings of the show help him to do the job effortlessly. While no one can fully replace Alex Trebek, Mike Richards can probably come closer than anyone else. But can he be both host and Exec Producer?

While no one is "Alex" and Mike Richards has done well, Ken Jennings would get my vote. He was genuine, natural (less rehearsed) and made it feel as though Alex chose him to take over where he left off.

I would like to pay tribute to the late Art Fleming, the original host of the first version of the television game show Jeopardy!, which aired on NBC from 1964 until 1975. He was the host when I got hooked.

- Some of my early memories are of my mom having that original Jeopardy playing every day. :) So many people don't even know that the old show exists.

He is doing a good job. He surely understands the show and the timing etc. Ken seemed slightly more empathetic at times but maybe because he was on the other side too.

I really love this guy. Great upbeat personality. There is something about him that reminds me of Alex Trebek... Ken has a personality that makes you feel he’s kind in conceited. This guy is just a natural...

I’m no stranger to the idea of a producer of a game show hosting it himself. Jack Barry comes to mind. He produced and originally hosted “The Joker’s Wild” and “Tic Tac Dough”

I like this guy because I'm 81 and when he speaks I can understand what he is saying, some people speak so fast us seniors can't understand, it's our show it not about the host, and that's what Alex Trebek did. ALOHA

I really like this fellow. He does a great job! I DO wish that SOMEONE in the Jeopardy organisation would remember that what is revealed on the Jeopardy board is an ANSWER, not a damn clue. Somehow, dear Alex forgot what Jeopardy was all about: answers given, questions produced. It is NOT clues given since, were that the case, there would be no reason to answer in the form of a question. For Final Jeopardy, the statement should be “and here is the final Jeopardy answer” not “here’s your clue”. Drive me nuts!

Mike is more professional and polished than Ken. But I still prefer Ken. There is a comforting feeling knowing that the host of Jeopardy knows most of the answers.

And we all know how that went. Controversially. In addition, disregarding that for now, if he continued hosting, he would break the hosting advice Trebek gave to Ken: The contestants are the stars, not the host.

Really enjoy Mike. A good fit. Didn’t care for Ken as host and stopped watching show with him hosting. No one can replace Alex though.

Ken Jennings for permanent host. Jeopardy needs a host that's intelligent enough to be a top contestant and Ken fills that bill. Ken has the same smooth but low key delivery as Alex Trebek had and the transition from Alex to Ken was almost seamless.

Mike Richards was very professional, smooth, and kept with the timing. Ken was also good. They both honored Alex legacy. The show is my favorite one !

Ken Jennings was the best host, kind , nice and a great personality. I stopped watching Jeopardy because Ken is not hosting. Many people feel the same, bring back Ken Jennings!
