  • It is mindblowing yet amazing how far Ken Jennings has come in his history with Jeopardy! and Alex Trebek himself. From a contestant with a 74-game winning streak to a "Greatest of All Time" winner to a consulting producer to now a temporary guest host of Jeopardy! I'm sure a lot of Jeopardy! fans have wanted Ken to host after Alex for a very long time, and now the time has come. Considering that Alex and Ken became close friends, I strongly believe that Alex would be very proud of Ken and the way that he has honored not only Alex but also the game himself, as I'm sure Alex believed in the show continuing on and still remaining a success. It is not gonna be easy watching a phenomenal quiz show like Jeopardy! and not see Alex's smiling face, feel at home by his welcoming demeanor, and hear his recognizable voice. In fact, it's hard to believe that Alex is gone. But in his own words, if we give the guest hosts the same love and attention and respect that we have shown Alex...then they will be a success and the show will continue being a success. That being said, thank you very much, Alex, for being part of our lives and for making Jeopardy! what it is today. And I wish you the best of luck, Ken! You have some big shoes to fill, but I can tell you will do a phenomenal job honoring Alex, his legacy, and the game itself.
