Hello Gigi, I am new to your channel and you are inspiring me to get going. I'm in a minivan for now. It's what I can afford. Just got it 3 days ago, and I am measuring and planning. 😂🤣 Loved the trip to Africa. God bless.

Fantastic! Minivans are really great for travel exploration, and the gas mileage is sweet! The ONLY reason I went back to a mid-roof is so I could stretch these military veteran joints. 😂😂

Gigi truly is an inspiration to many I am sure. I pray you are going to love vanlife. I am in a Hyundai Getz, Yes it is tiny, but it is what I have.

Definitely do a swivel seat or both, I think you will be happy with it. I haven't done one yet in my van due to cost because they are so expensive but it is on my bucklist. Also, if you don't already have one, a Chinese diesel heater! It was by far my best upgrade yet. Also on my bucklist is a hightop conversion! Now that will be the biggest game changer! 🙏🏾

I love your Dollar Store decorations. And your new layout is great. If you don't like seeing what's stored under your table, you could make an apron for it. A piece of old drapes or cloth with either Velcro on top or just a big hem that you thread a long bungee or rope through and fasten it on the sides. You could do that on your bed, too. Then the cloth could be taken off and laundered when it got dirty. There's always something else to do. :) I had a long drive yesterday to do some bank paperwork. I took a nap in the parking lot in my minivan. I've only put the camp cot in, but I found, without lifting the low end, by the front seats, I can sit up without scraping my head. I think I'll keep it that way and put my head on the high side. I had a nice snack inside before heading home, but found out that the side I wanted to use as an entrance, did not open from the inside. The other door did, but I didn't want to climb over the bed and fall out, so I climbed into the front. Easier than I thought without back seats. I'm glad I found out about the door before I put everything in Monty. Now, it's just a matter of moving the cot to the other side. Jon in rural BC, Canada
