Finally getting around to giving the full tour of my finished Full Time Home On Wheels Sienna Camper. I really put a lot of features in this build. It has everything I could squeeze and and still be functional. Is this best minivan camper build yet? Maybe. But I always feel my latest is also my best. haha. This even has a guest bedroom, a kitchen sink, microwave, solar power, toilet, closet, and shower. As always, I tried to repurpose as much discarded items as possible, so the building material was really cheap.

  • great build 😊 add: Install an inward exhaust fan in front end of car to create a higher air pressure inside the enclised van. Then at the opposite end of the car, leave a crack at the backend door. This will create an airflow from front to back. -When your pooping the smell won't fill up the whole car but immediately disperse downward and outward. ü

  • What more could you need. I think this is your best build yet. Personally I don't want or need a shower in my minivan, but I do have a toilet and I use a urinal with a female attachment. For indoor cooking I have a Bodum 27 oz electric kettle and will be getting an electric pan. I have the Bluetti AC 180 and a ridged 100 watt portable solar panel. Most of my cooking is done outside with propane but if it is raining, freezing cold or windy I can cook inside. My 2017 Toyota Sienna is my daily driver so my build is easy removed and stored when I am at my homebase. 7 weeks is the longest I have lived out of it, but I feel like I would be happy with living out of it full time. I like your trap setup, but love my Kelty sideroad awning. It is more wind resistant and easier for one older verticality challenged woman to setup by myself. I am thinking about getting a refrigerator, but really don't know if it is necessary for the way I travel and explore. Thank you for the tour of your minivan camper. Safe travels. 😊

  • TINY CAMPERS. Great Van Build, Just Like The Previous Ones, You Have Found Your Nishe. 1 Point, Would Be, At 20 Min Into Video, You, Demonstrate. Passenger Seat, Slide, With Clothes, Cupboard Attached. (I Think, You Missed A Valuable Trick there). THE PASSENGER SEAT SLIDES BACK, WITH, CUPBOARD WITH CLOTHES ATTACHED TO BACK OF SEAT. SLIDE IT BACK TO BED, NOW LOCK IT IN PLACE. SLIDE PASSENGER SEAT FORWARD AGAIN, TO SAFE LEVEL. NOW, IMPLEMENT, HIDDEN BUILT IN EXTENDER TO THE CUPBOARD FOR MORE CLOTHES STORAGE, WHILE, STATIONARY-CAMPED.! Also, Regarding Your Solar Panel Up Top, Possibly Think Of A Way To Lock Into Place, Which You Have Acomplished. But Also, BE Able To Unlock It, &, Point It/Elevate It, In Whatever Direction, The Sun Has Moved, To. Depending Upon Your, Car-Direction-Parked-Location.! Just A Thought, To Help, Along Your Fantastic Design, Concept. Otherwise, Bravo. Ps:- I Would Very Much Be Intrested In Watching YOU, LIVE FULL TIME, FOR A WEEK, OR A MONTH. IN THIS VAN, IN VARIOUS TEMP-ENVIRONMENTS.! To Hear Your Thoughts, Upon, Any Improvements, You Could Make. While Living Day To Day, In the Field. Upon, Your Otherwise, Outstanding, Van Build Concept.!😊

  • I've been taking my time to design my 3rd-Gen Sienna minivan camper. Every time I see a new YT video, there is something different and unique from all the other minivan camper videos. Gradually, I'm adopting some approaches and design layouts. One of my design challenges that I have yet to resolve is how to safely anchor everything down into place in case of an auto accident. Anyway, always good to see how everyone deals with their design and implementation challenges. Thanks for the video.

  • The only thing I think I would do differently is run a power bank for low-watt electric appliances, so not requiring a battery & inverter. Then I would put that far away from water storage/usage in the vehicle. I did hear about one guy who has an extra alternator just to power his battery bank. If money was no issue I would try & do that.

Lol guess I'm gonna ask anyway haha.... Do you feel like the Toyota Sienna is the best choice? Mechanically sounds etc. I feel like from minivan reviews it is, but 🤷‍♀️ idk looking for more knowledgeable opinions than my own... If so, what would you consider a good 2nd & 3rd choice?? Any extra info from you or anyone who's commented would be greatly appreciated. • Is there any chance you have a link to the fridge you have? I just got a fridge, and it is way too tall, and I removed the armrest and threw them away. I cannot get them back. They are in another state in trash. But I really desperately need a fridge that will be more even with my seats instead of so tall because I have dogs in my van. If you have a link and or name and size of your fridge, that would be great, thank you so much.

  • How much are you putting charge into your car battery? This is a problem I have and I can't tell how well my 20w solar trickle charger is doing.

    • 20w is not generally enough. I have 110w panels.

    • I am speaking of my car battery only, not the house battery. Are you saying you hook your car battery up to your house solar panels? What is the make and model of the solar charger you use to maintain the car (not house) battery?

      @lesliehunter1823@lesliehunter182323 күн бұрын
    • @@lesliehunter1823 I mentioned this in the video. I have 2 charge controllers. 1 for the house batt and 1 for the car. The car battery is a smaller controller . Mine is old, but it is similar to this amzn.to/4aXiw4c

  • What is the width of the bed? Height? Can you sit up straight?

    • I personally can't sit straight up. I can sit straight in the lounge position with my back resting on the closet

  • thanks. you gave me some ideas. one question, do you cover your front windshield? if yes, how?

    @skpjoecoursegold366@skpjoecoursegold36624 күн бұрын
    • Yes, just a normal large car sunshade. Covers about 95% of the windshield.

  • The shower is poor utilization of space. Gym memberships are cheap. In a rural area one could just shower outside in a pop up tent.
