Toyota Sienna Full Time Living Home On Wheels Camper. DIY Vanlife Build Tour EP15 Finale

Finally getting around to giving the full tour of my finished Full Time Home On Wheels Sienna Camper. I really put a lot of features in this build. It has everything I could squeeze and and still be functional. Is this best minivan camper build yet? Maybe. But I always feel my latest is also my best. haha. This even has a guest bedroom, a kitchen sink, microwave, solar power, toilet, closet, and shower. As always, I tried to repurpose as much discarded items as possible, so the building material was really cheap.

The title of this should be, "How to Fit a 2 Bedroom Apartment Into a Minivan". I'm in awe!
Haha
Do you mind if I "borrow that title for a video tour?"🤣🤣🤣
@@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 Not at all! You've earned it😆😅
one of the best videos . ergonomically pleasing . space efficient . it looks like if one want to have more living space just add an outside tent for space when at camp. so beautiful.. thank you
Thank you for the kind words'
As always, I am in awe of your clever brain!
I love how your mind works so efficiently in relation to design. You’re a genius!
Wow!!! That's a masterpiece Pascal ! The best minivan camper I've ever seen. Unbelievable!
Thanks!
Very impressive 👍
This guy is a genius.
I luv this guy! What an engineer!
You sir have in my opinion the best setup ever. Great job
Love your builds. Great job getting all of that into an SUV. 😊
Love the sink, fridge placement, closet, and shower. Another mobile masterpiece!!
Thanks!
He is so talented. Perfect build. I wish he can build me one!
Thank You so very much for your help and information on the Sure ❌️🚫lol, Shore Power. And all other info THANKS.
Love the sink & accessories = took note of website.😊 I would probably add a double counter section w/hinge so I could unfold & have extra counter or desk space. 👍
One of the things I forgot to show. I can work on my laptop in the area with the drawers. That is why there is some extra space there instead of a bigger drawer. Haha
I have Toyota sienna 2008 XLE . I can’t do it because I have no skill and no garage. If you interested please let me know. Thank you .
@@helenethienhuonghelenthien6697sorry. I am not for hire.
That’s real nice Pascal 👍🏼
I like the closet for hanging clothes
😮wow amazing home on wheels u are so creative with utilizing every inch of space and making it easy to access everything you need a energy efficient camper with a guest bedroom and that bathroom is winner ,good 😊 job and thanks for sharing with us your amazing build 😊safe travels
Thank you so much 🤗
Just outstanding, especially the shower, guest bedroom, and the pivoting moveable closet. You have outdone yourself with this Sienna build. If I ever had to get rid of my Element, I'd be looking at a Sienna as a replacement primarily because of your innovative ideas. Thanks for posting this video, brother!
You are welcome!
Wow! Beautiful minimalist set up by a handsome nice-looking guy. 😊
Thank you. 🙏
I am in love with this build. No room for improvement. It is perfect!
Thanks!
The bathroom/shower area could also serve as an office. Have a slightly higher stool (or adjudtable) and put have movable bed cushion on that end, and that would be the desk. Just forgo a small area of the lip that holds cushion on that end. I would so do that!
I love the bathroom it’s not tight
I know I am not the first one to tell you, but you are a GENIUS.😊❤
Thanks!
Genius!!! I love your channel!
Always enjoy you videos and creative abilities. Looks like a fun way to camp. Has it all!
Thanks. I am looking forward to trying it out
This one is a better one because the guest bedroom is separated from the main bedroom. Two people can have a good sleep.
As long as the guest is not too tall. Haha
Very innovative. With the hangars, I would just use them upside-down, by bending the top half with the hook upwards. That way the part the shirt rests on is perfectly level.
The new American Dream. Great build
Haha. Amazing how many people want to live out of their vans!
@@TinyCampersDIY I’m part time while I work. Home on weekends. I’m approaching retirement age and building vans and SUVs would be fun as a side gig
@@TinyCampersDIY I subscribed!
Great! I would replace the mirror with a large tablet or ipad
I thought you were done with the sienna and then you come up with another great idea! Love the extra guest area too!
Haha. I know, I keep coming up with things. Now I have 10 different Honda Element builds in mind.... haha
CONGRATULATIONS 👏 , on you're new built , I've watched you're PREVIOUS BUILT 😊 , and you keep IMPROVING 😂 , I'M 👍 hunting for the HYBRID SIENNA, wish will pose a CHALLENGE, because, don't know, if the CENTRAL CONSOL , between driver & passenger can be REMOVED , ( were you placed you're cooler) .....MASSIVE THANKS for SHEARING 😂
Happy to help.
@@TinyCampersDIY that would be EXELENT , what's the best way to CONTACT YOU ???
WOW. You did an Amazing job !!! I love this camper and you really could live in it. You thought of everything ❤
Thank you so much!
You must be an engineer because you’ve thought of everything 😊 I heard about your channel through Glorious Life on Wheels and glad I did. You’re amazing!! First time viewer 👍🏼
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
love the organization!
great build 😊 add: Install an inward exhaust fan in front end of car to create a higher air pressure inside the enclised van. Then at the opposite end of the car, leave a crack at the backend door. This will create an airflow from front to back. -When your pooping the smell won't fill up the whole car but immediately disperse downward and outward. ü
May I never find out about pooping
Wife approved ? I really like the way you designed your mini van so nice and "Clean" !!!
haha, she doesn't pay any attention to my builds. haha
I do the front se one bed too , feels like a separate room .
Awesome built.
Great job Pascal!!!
This is a very well thought out design with everything one would need and more. Nice! 😄👍
Thanks! 👍
What more could you need. I think this is your best build yet. Personally I don't want or need a shower in my minivan, but I do have a toilet and I use a urinal with a female attachment. For indoor cooking I have a Bodum 27 oz electric kettle and will be getting an electric pan. I have the Bluetti AC 180 and a ridged 100 watt portable solar panel. Most of my cooking is done outside with propane but if it is raining, freezing cold or windy I can cook inside. My 2017 Toyota Sienna is my daily driver so my build is easy removed and stored when I am at my homebase. 7 weeks is the longest I have lived out of it, but I feel like I would be happy with living out of it full time. I like your trap setup, but love my Kelty sideroad awning. It is more wind resistant and easier for one older verticality challenged woman to setup by myself. I am thinking about getting a refrigerator, but really don't know if it is necessary for the way I travel and explore. Thank you for the tour of your minivan camper. Safe travels. 😊
Thanks. I love having a fridge. Even a small one, is really nice.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
Congrats on a great build. I want it.
Amazing 👏 very well done !
Amazing job, my man!
Love it, cant wait to see you out on the open road, testing it out
I may do a stealth camp really soon! Haha
Great build!!! Just take my money now!!!
Haha. 🤣
Wow! Thanks!
Wow!!...Impressive!
Clean beautiful build 👏💜
Great build.
Great job!
That sink is just amazing!
❤amazing❤
This is a FANTASTIC design!!!
TINY CAMPERS. Great Van Build, Just Like The Previous Ones, You Have Found Your Nishe. 1 Point, Would Be, At 20 Min Into Video, You, Demonstrate. Passenger Seat, Slide, With Clothes, Cupboard Attached. (I Think, You Missed A Valuable Trick there). THE PASSENGER SEAT SLIDES BACK, WITH, CUPBOARD WITH CLOTHES ATTACHED TO BACK OF SEAT. SLIDE IT BACK TO BED, NOW LOCK IT IN PLACE. SLIDE PASSENGER SEAT FORWARD AGAIN, TO SAFE LEVEL. NOW, IMPLEMENT, HIDDEN BUILT IN EXTENDER TO THE CUPBOARD FOR MORE CLOTHES STORAGE, WHILE, STATIONARY-CAMPED.! Also, Regarding Your Solar Panel Up Top, Possibly Think Of A Way To Lock Into Place, Which You Have Acomplished. But Also, BE Able To Unlock It, &, Point It/Elevate It, In Whatever Direction, The Sun Has Moved, To. Depending Upon Your, Car-Direction-Parked-Location.! Just A Thought, To Help, Along Your Fantastic Design, Concept. Otherwise, Bravo. Ps:- I Would Very Much Be Intrested In Watching YOU, LIVE FULL TIME, FOR A WEEK, OR A MONTH. IN THIS VAN, IN VARIOUS TEMP-ENVIRONMENTS.! To Hear Your Thoughts, Upon, Any Improvements, You Could Make. While Living Day To Day, In the Field. Upon, Your Otherwise, Outstanding, Van Build Concept.!😊
I do plan to start taking trips in this setup.
Brilliant
Very nice!
Great build.😊
Nicely done! An electrical engineer named Pascal gave a tour of a similar build on Butterfly Tracks' channel.
Do you have a link to the video? :) I don't recall doing a video with that channel. Is there another pascal that builds vans?
very nice & clean set up
Really great build. Love that sink and how you have a lot of open space and safety features.
Nice
Great looking job 👍 👌 impressive absolutely luv watching your detailed builds.
Thanks 👍
Very nice! I love watching your videos. 😊
Thank you! 😊
The closet is cute. Love the hack for a bed in the front, would be super useful on the road with a full car like when moving.
Looks good for a short person like me. 😀 The shower isn't too close to your electricity? Do you have something to put over the steering wheel so the person sleeping up front doesn't accidentally honk the horn when moving around?
Haha. No steering wheel cover.
I've been taking my time to design my 3rd-Gen Sienna minivan camper. Every time I see a new YT video, there is something different and unique from all the other minivan camper videos. Gradually, I'm adopting some approaches and design layouts. One of my design challenges that I have yet to resolve is how to safely anchor everything down into place in case of an auto accident. Anyway, always good to see how everyone deals with their design and implementation challenges. Thanks for the video.
Happy to help
@RA-rf4nz, just get out and do some short trips with what you have. I use my Sienna more than my class b.... You will have a great time and learn just what you need or want in your build. Safe travels.
The only thing I think I would do differently is run a power bank for low-watt electric appliances, so not requiring a battery & inverter. Then I would put that far away from water storage/usage in the vehicle. I did hear about one guy who has an extra alternator just to power his battery bank. If money was no issue I would try & do that.
In your next build, can you put a disc-o-bed? That way you’ll have 2 bunk beds and a couch. 😉
Love it ! But not too many people are that little
We can work on getting more petite and nimble to facilitate living in a smaller space, instead of building spaces to accommodate what for me has been self-indulgence & lack of discipline. This guy is 5'8"
Haha. I build to fit mainly myself. And occasionally one of my 6ft ish sons. Of course, I would have to take the guest room :(
Love your build again. I would like to know how you setup the battery system. I am currently working on my van build and documenting on my youtube channel. I want to be off grid as much as possible and would love to use less gas to cook.
I see you found a more recent power video. It is not too hard!
@TinyCampersDIY Yes, I did!! This is sooo helpful.
Fantastic build! I seen a lot of your other builds & love them all. My kids are grown & here I sit mostly alone so I'm getting ready to get a minivan & build it out...can I ask you A question? Lol guess I'm gonna ask anyway haha.... Do you feel like the Toyota Sienna is the best choice? Mechanically sounds etc. I feel like from minivan reviews it is, but 🤷♀️ idk looking for more knowledgeable opinions than my own... If so, what would you consider a good 2nd & 3rd choice?? Any extra info from you or anyone who's commented would be greatly appreciated. I'm working w/ a very very small budget...thanks and again love your build...all of them...always get a lot of inspiration from your dif builds 😊
Any thing Japanese will last well
I am a big Toyota fan and the Sienna is no exception. Great car. But is it big enough for what you want? That is a big question
Great job given the space! Where are the solar panels?
I showed the solar panels in the video.
I NEED TO COME TO YOUR STATE, SO YOU COULD DO MY CONVERSION ❤
Very impressive. Mine is a work in progress, so I am looking for space saving ideas. The tank you have in your roof basket, where did you find that?
Video here kzhead.info/sun/kpmKqptsiHN8qH0/bejne.htmlsi=r8zwR-m8bo80Yx6k
This is great! Do you think it's possible to fit a small grey water tank under the van?
It would be a challenge since the van is lower than an SUV. I actually looked underneath to see it I could make a small tank. So, yes, but difficult.
Unbelievably Beautiful! How much cost? You should do a Mazda CX5 fulltime No-Build 😁 Curious to how much space you could utilize w/o Clutted and Boxed-in feeling. 😊
Sorry I don't own that car, or I probably would do it. Haha
@TinyCampersDIY Where u Live? I'll pay You!
@@tammy9162 Sorry, I don't really build for others.
@TinyCampersDIY well... i tried lol 😆. You have magnificent Builds; its very inspiring 🙌
Is any of the wood drilled into the car or everything is wedged in to fit?
Some things are bolted in using exiting bolts that came with the car.
Just wondering...i noticed you have a different rechargeable sprayer.... Did the Sun Joe one bite the dust? Was it not powerful? Are there other brands you've tried? Which do you like best and why? I almost bought the sun joe but then noticed you have a different one now...
Sun Joe is great. I thought they discontinued it so I bought a different for others to see. Turns out, they were just out of stock for a really long time. My Sun Joe is still working.
👍
Did you have video of this curtains
Yes. You can search for videos on my channel page. It is the same curtains as the couple's camper . Search "curtains"
Is there any chance you have a link to the fridge you have? I just got a fridge, and it is way too tall, and I removed the armrest and threw them away. I cannot get them back. They are in another state in trash. But I really desperately need a fridge that will be more even with my seats instead of so tall because I have dogs in my van. If you have a link and or name and size of your fridge, that would be great, thank you so much.
Fridge video here. Link will be in that video description kzhead.info/sun/iax-gJV8kKCwpI0/bejne.htmlsi=4__WZZvyR4_bPkLR
Thank you so much!!!
How much are you putting charge into your car battery? This is a problem I have and I can't tell how well my 20w solar trickle charger is doing.
20w is not generally enough. I have 110w panels.
I am speaking of my car battery only, not the house battery. Are you saying you hook your car battery up to your house solar panels? What is the make and model of the solar charger you use to maintain the car (not house) battery?
@@lesliehunter1823 I mentioned this in the video. I have 2 charge controllers. 1 for the house batt and 1 for the car. The car battery is a smaller controller . Mine is old, but it is similar to this amzn.to/4aXiw4c
What is the width of the bed? Height? Can you sit up straight?
I personally can't sit straight up. I can sit straight in the lounge position with my back resting on the closet
Where does the water drain to?
Here is the build video kzhead.info/sun/iNScqZiAkZOpiIU/bejne.html
thanks. you gave me some ideas. one question, do you cover your front windshield? if yes, how?
Yes, just a normal large car sunshade. Covers about 95% of the windshield.
The shower is poor utilization of space. Gym memberships are cheap. In a rural area one could just shower outside in a pop up tent.
Thats great? Do you sell these?
Sorry. I don't sell them. Thanks
No problem! These are great builds!
