No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.

  • Muy buena tu idea, pero yo te recomendaría que hicieras tus aparatos con varilla de acero para que sean más resistentes y además con un poco más de peso, lo cual te sirve para que así sea mayor el reto al momento de entrenar

  • Interesting and clever, but not much for heavy lifters. I was going to make some concrete plates before I found some real ones but they are just too light to be very useful for me. Maybe if I had a bunch of scrap metal to mix in the concrete..

    • He definitely did a good job making those weights but people in 3rd world countries have made weights like this for years. Probably not as neat looking and probably not kettle bells but I used to bench cement weights as a kid in Central America. These weights look super light btw.

  • Great ideas you can also heat up sand/dirt fill PVC pipe and it will bend really easy without kinking.

  • Another trick is to fill gallon milk jugs with cement. That might take a lot longer to dry, though. Or you can just fill them with sand and tape them up. You can also use cat sand jugs if you want something heavier.

  • Nice job Saray. Thank you. Today we built a deadlift system with 2x large 25litre food buckets, cut hole in one side of each to insert reo bar wrapped bar ends with wire then filled buckets with concrete, sand and aggregate. 60 kg plus 7kg bar. This will help get us through covid-19. We could cut off the buckets after cured but won’t bother.
