@pantheorganizer - you had done a past review of the Griot's Foaming Surface Wash and gave it a very high rating. How does that Griot's FSW compare to the Adams and Armour detail Supply?
Thanks for including us in the test, Pan! We will certainly try our best to reduce the cost over time as we grow. Shampoo+ specifically is an expensive product to manufacture, due to the type of surfactants we chose.
Thanks! You guys have a great lineup! 💪🏻
Don’t change it! I love it!
Please please please, don't change the formula because of cost... I think you and DIY detail are the top 2 brands setting the standard today. I understand the cost is a little higher but people shall pay more for better quality products. Keep it up!!!
@@gorillanismo agree top 2 and they run sales so product price is ok 👍
Pan, your videos always cost me money 😂 keep up the good work 👏
I have enough product to clean my vehicles for the next 50 years LOL 😂 I feel your pain.
😂😂
I totally agree!
Hehe Thanks, will do!
Yip, but sure we could spend it on worse things 😃
Super appreciate the love Pan!! We always key in on your opinion! We might have collaborated with Apex for the original formula but your Best Product Of The Year video was the inspiration for the 2.0 version that you’re using now! Keep on rocking the detail world, Sir! 🫡
Thank you!!
Thanks for including DIY Detail Incredible Suds in your test.
👍🏻💪🏻
Can Incredible Suds be used as a clay lube like the Turtle Wax soap?
@@TheBreakfastLover I use it as a clay lube from time to time. Never had any problems
@@TheBreakfastLoveryes, definitely, and to increase your efficiency a little you can also use DIY Detail Iron Remover as additional lubrication if wanted.
@@TheBreakfastLoverdiy is a great clay lube.
Koch Chemie GSF is always my go-to for flexibility, simply because it’s a pH neutral snow foam off the shelf, but if you combine it with 30ml of Koch Chemie’s Green Star you turn it into an alkaline snow foam to really help cut through road crud and remove some coatings for a reset, and since I always have both products on me it saves me having to carry both a pH neutral and alkaline snow foam.
Or just use Koch Chemie Active Foam, which is kind of like Gsf + Gs combined. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer Yeah man, and is also a third product to carry around, which I said using GSF and GS together saves me from having to do. One less SKU to carry, one less product to buy and take up space, and since I ALWAYS have GSF and GS on me AF is sort of pointless except to maybe save 30 seconds having to measure out 30ml of GS.
That's exactly what i do 👍😁
I also use this combo, it's easy since I use GS for other stuff, not just my car.
👍🏻
Great episode Pan. Thank you for taking the extensive time to prepare, edit, and then film all these episodes. Your hard work is appreciated and we appreciate your expertise in detailing and sharing your knowledge on all these products.
Oh, and I forgot to say once again, "That is one SWEET automobile sir!". I absolutely love that Porsche. You are one lucky man sir to be able to drive that beautiful machine as a daily driver. Lucky indeed........
Glad you enjoyed it! It's always nice to see long term viewers like you still around for my journey!
I attended the Meguiars Detailing class for over 6 months and began using only Meguiars products up to 2012. I also began using some of the Mother's products. In 2023 I was reading about Turtle Wax products and never tried any Turtle Wax products until I saw Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic wash. I got hooked on this and still use it. It gives and fantastic shine. Later as it was not sold in auto part stores I had to order it thru Turtle Wax. But later on I got the urge to buy the Slick and slide. I no longer do detailing on customer vehicles as I turned 75 and it's a lot of work at my age, but I still do my family vehicles and only use the Turtle wax products. Keep up the great Info!!! Yanni
Thanks Yanni
Great information as always Pan. Thank you! Have a great weekend!❤
Thank you! Have a great weekend too!
Thanks pan good show. I use Mega Foam in the bucket for contact wash ,Works Great
Thanks for watching!
I exclusively use The TW Purewash. I hand wash my car over 52 times a year and this 64 oz car wash lasts me well over a year which is a ridiculous value. Their cheap TW green bottle car wash is excellent too with phenomenal scents and cleaning ability. Also the pure wash is an amazing clay lubricant. There has been no reason for me to explore another soap! Great job TW! And thank you Pan!
Thanks for sharing your personal experience Gabe!
I wash my car first thing in the morning and in my driveway, I tried DIYs incredible suds in my MJJC foam cannon for the first time and couldn’t be happier, my problem is to stop smelling the bottle lol, awesome video and thank you Pan 👍😁
Hehe thanks Dave!
Thank you.
Very comprehensive video Pan! TW & Adams are my typical go-to car soaps (bucket and foam cannon). Just picked up DIY Incredible Suds but have not used it yet. Blessings from USA 🇺🇸 GGG 😎
Thanks GGG!! :)
Thanks for making this fun (and fair), makes me want to try them all! Here is hoping you hit a million fan soon!
Fingers crossed! Thanks man!
My all time favorite that i have used is Adams mega foam. But im gonna look at diy. Thanks for the in depth demo pan. 👊 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Thank you.
Thanks Pan , great content. My favourite is Diy Incredible suds. The products they make work really. What makes the difference is for me is the education and support they provide. The other companies don’t even take time to thank you.
Thanks for sharing!
Another excellent video! I use DIY Incredible Suds for the initial foaming, then GSF for lubrication with the hand wash, which I use the P&S Pearl Automotive Shampoo. Always get great results!!
Thanks John!
Thank you.

That's awesome! Have a good weekend Patricio!
Enjoyed the video. Always a great job. The snow foams have come a long way for sure. Have a great weekend my friend.
Thanks Jim! What's your go-to snow foam?
DIY Detail incredible suds
One I really like is the Sonax profiline actifoam. Great cleaning soap.
Awesome video, Pan, thanks for sharing! I've been using the Adams Mega Foam for a couple years, it does provide really thick foam, even with the hard water I have. Because I have to wash my vehicles outside, I typically rinse first to cool the surface a bit first, then apply the snow foam. Only use an ounce or two in the foam cannon, and it provides the nice, bubblegum-scented thick foam that I like. I do find that there is a bit of residue left over when rinsing, I need to do a thorough rinse job in order to get rid of it all; could possibly be due to being outside when I use it. This is just my experience, others' mileage may vary. Once again, very informative and educational video, Pan, thanks again for sharing! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for sharing!
Great video. I like using Turtle Wax products. I have been using them for decades, but after watching your videos I have been trying different things.
Thanks Fred. Yeah I agree, it's nice to try different things sometimes, and pick what works best for you.
Thanks Pan for featuring our new Auto Fanatic 007 Snowstorm Car Shampoo we spent years getting this soap to do exactly what I wanted. The self cleaning and multi stage foaming is key for maint touch less washes for dust, salt etc where I show the dirt in the run off in my wash videos. Another feature is our soap can be used in direct sun and hot humid climates which was factored into development. We do sell gallons and 5 gallons and 20 unit case packs through our store at a great value of almost half off retail to the mobile detailers and pro users, via Amazon we just offer the 16oz for ease of shipping to new users.
Thanks for sharing your info Phil. You can be proud of the products you put out on the market!
Incredible suds for me! Sweet video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you.
Master, I love the sonax active foam energy, it is amazing product ❤❤
I love DIY Detail's Incredible Suds! It's ...wait for it..... INCREDIBLE!
LOL !!
Thank you.
I used the Turtle Wax Pure, quite pleased. It stays in my inventory. Mr. Pink I used when 1st starting out, decent for the $ & of course Adams Mega Foam. Great product
Thanks for sharing!
I have used Mr Pink and thought it was a good value as a snow foam, decent performance at a reasonable price.
It's certainly inexpensive.
If you have a pressure washer, use Chemical Guys Sticky Snowball. pH balanced, so on ceramic coated cars, you can do a touchless wash with no bucket or mitt. I promise you will love it
Pan, again great video. I love GFS, slick-n-slide and sonax actifoam.
Thanks!
Love the video, Pan! I’ve enjoyed using the Adam’s mega foam since watching your prior foam battle video. I also use Technicians Choice Grape and Glow. It has really good foaming action as well. Still new and learning here, keep the education coming! 😂
Thanks for sharing!!
Haven't finished the video yet but Ive used almost all of these myself at least once. My go to is the TW Pure SlicknSlide. It's cheap, smells good, snow foams good, and works great in a bucket wash. Tho I find myself doing DIY Detail Rinseless washes more often now, my go to in this list is easily TW.
👍🏻
Do you think it would be ok for me to use the TW with a handheld electric foam bottle? (Vs. cannon)
@@hockey1freak 100 percent you could. I have used it in a marolex pump sprayer before. Just lower how much TW you use at first until you get the exact consistency of soap to water ratio you want and remember to clean the system regularly (tho you should do that anyway with any type of chemicals).
Another great video Pan ! Your test was very thorough and I was surprised how they were all somewhat similar with the foam output with very little visible difference. My favs are AF 007, GSF and Incredible Suds. I have not tried the others but they all appear to be pretty standup soaps. I do enjoy a good smelling soap which makes the experience that much more pleasurable. Thanks again for all your hard work !
Thanks Tom! I hope you are having a good weekend!
Excellent weekend Pan, thank you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and look forward to your next video.
Thank you.
Wow they all reacted quite similar pan I enjoy using the turtle wax and the Mr pink thanks great video
Thanks for watching!
Also Forensics Detailing channel does dirt removal tests for most of these foams. But definitely thanks for your video on this. It takes a lot of effort to test
Thanks for the feedback. Jon and I are friends he makes great videos too. I also made a video showing the cleaning power of higher pH snow foams compared to pH neutral in this video: kzhead.info/sun/a85ulK6NhGp8lWw/bejne.htmlsi=xfV1zaoZ-mcaEr5M Welcome to my channel. As always great job! Had a off the wall question I regards to snow foams. I was wondering if you or anyone has used or know of a foam for the house. Ya know to help with removal of light dirt, and then possible come back with a brush. I know simple green makes a few outdoor cleaners. Any thoughts?
Thanks for this video Pan! Very helpful. I have tried several of these and was happy with all except Mr Pink. I found Mr Pink left a film that took longer to rinse off. I must admit I love the Turtle Wax for its slickness, versatility and ease of purchase. I usually order all my products thru Carzilla (excellent company) but if I run out I have to wait for delivery and Turtle Wax I can pick up at Canadian Tire.
Thanks for sharing!
Love the hybrid stuff , for the price and what it does you can't go wrong with them. I just started using the pure wash soap with a bit of apc for a pre wash and I really like it . Also use inside job for Interior love it. Staples in my business
Thanks for sharing, and have a good weekend!
I have only used Adams Mega Foam with Foam Cannon which I felt works very well. I am really a fan of Car Pro Reset for either using with the Foam Cannon and/or contact wash.
👍🏻
I use the turtle wax hybrid pro outdoor and i like the result. very silky, i even used it with a clay bar.
I enjoy the videos that you make especially because you’re very direct and also for the range of information that you provide. I’ve only just started watching your videos just 2 days ago. I came across yours because honestly I’ve watched over 100 other videos from which you always mention to venture and not to just listen to what Pan has to say, which is an honest gesture, no one can say unless they truly care about the art can say something like that. I were like “this guy has everything from A-to-Z, pros and cons and how from start to finish to be efficient with your investment. If I can explain it in the GIF, I couldn’t do it better than that.
Thanks Billie! I appreciate the positive feedback and kind words. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on KZhead as we surpassed 980,000 subscribers and we have over 132 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Thanks for another amazing video! I use the adam's mega foam, but my results were not nearly as good as the mega foam on yours because I have 1.3 GPM and hose water. I would suggest for future videos (battles) to use a setup similar to the average weekend warrior because then the difference might be more apparent, I can hardly tell the difference here because they are all so good with your setup.
Great Show! I live in Northern California, which has Continental/Mediterranean climates, hot summers, and cool wet winters with vertical no snow. Vehicals are garaged, and I typically wash outside weekly with TurtleWax Pro Pure Wash Slick & Slide pH 8.3, or 3D Super Soap Concentrate pH 8.0. Very impressed with their versatility, lubricity, and foaming abilities. Only negative for 3D is it's consistency, pours like honey, making it a little difficult to pour and mix. Gotta use some warm water for sure in both the foamer, and bucket. SIDE NOTE: I currently have Adams Polish Graphene Ceramic Coatings (not the "Advanced" version) on my vehicles. Coatings are holding up pretty well after 2 plus years. This fall, I did notice that the beading was fading to decent sheeting. I wanted those dancing beads back, so I gave Carpro Descale, pH 6 a try. BAM, super tight beads! I will have to make Carpro Descale an annual fall activity along with a nice topper. One Bucket Foamer
Yes CarPro Descale is awesome for reviving coatings (assuming the coating is still there). It's an acidic pH (close to pH 6). I have it featured in my ultimate spring deep cleaning tutorial here: kzhead.info/sun/oriadqmXp2SFdK8/bejne.htmlsi=DKbV_iudIuURih7B
An excellent point about the power. My Worx Hydroshot Nitro is battery powered so i can't really do foam, unless i use the product neat! Or use an ik sprayer, which i tend to. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing
Excellent Video, comprehensive test and visual examples of the snow-foam produced by each product on an equal basis. I’m surprised that you didn’t include Maguires Ultimate Snow-Foam with this test - as that’s the product I’m currently using on my Truck. I’m very happy with the end results. I’ve tried that Maguires on the Truck pre-pressure washed (wetted by water) and recently directly on a Dry Truck. The results, from my experience, are basically the same. I use 120ml plus 500ml of warm water in my Snow-Foam cannon using a Kartcher K7 Pressure Washer. I will be washing my Truck this Wednesday when I know the Weather will be dry for the day. The Trucks paint is Agate Black, comes up like a Black Mirror, but alas short lived in the real World due to Road Spray etc!
Thanks for watching! I couldn't include every snow foam know to mankind here, these tests are sooooo long to film. But if I get enough viewer requests, I'll make another one including the Meguiar's.
I've used GSF, Adams, Incredible suds and chemical guys Honeydew. They all foamed up great. But since I am just a hobbyist I have to narrow it down. So I am using Incredible Suds mostly now after using up some of the other products. I love the DIY line and it just helps me keep things simple.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you.
I'm in the UK and I use Autoglym Polar blast and their snow foam lance. I've been quite happy although the dilution ratio is only 1:5 so you use quite a lot at a time.
Great breakdown Pan. I recently got Incredible Suds and love it. Have Shampoo+ on the way.
Thanks!
Great video Pan! I love the Turtle Wax and KocheChemie the best for my application but after seeing this video I’d love to try DIY Detail and Armor Detal Supply Shampoo Plus. I look forward to them. What is your personal favorite for your Porsche that you use most of the time besides Car Pro Reset?
Bilt Hamber Touch-Less when it’s very dirty. Reset in the bucket. Armour Detail Supply is growing on me. There are so many good choices really.
Thank you.
Pan, Yet another great video, I use The Adams, Mega foam since it won first place in your last video, I always wait for the 25% sale... I actually called and asked the company a couple years ago about using it as a contact wash. They said it was exceptional as a contact wash.. Since then they have changed the description on their website to include that it can be used in a two bucket method.. I suspect that most of the snow foam behaved very similarly is that they are all blended by the same company B&B blenders. Especially Apex, DIY, Chemical, Armour, Auto fanatic. Adams.. I'll go out on a limb and say turtle wax and koch-chemie are probably blended in house.
Yeah it's hard to know who blends these products. There are only a handful of third party big blenders like B&B Blending in the USA. Some companies have their own chemists though. I don't really care who blends, what I care about the most is the end result and if it delivers on performance and sometimes value if that's a criteria for some.
Which would you suggest as maintenance foam wash for a car with Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Pain Coating? Currently have Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax for bucket washing.
Any of these will do just fine.
Adam’s Graphene Shampoo is amazing for cleaning ceramic coatings! It also foams crazy and has great lubrication
Yes and has higher degreasing capabilities, as I discussed with the Adam's chemist in this interview: kzhead.info/sun/frOBp5SarpeNeJs/bejne.htmlsi=AW_O0-2VFzSa7bUc
@@PanTheOrganizer Great explanation!
Thanks!
Great video Pan. I currently use incredible suds or GSF for my snow foam ..but once I finish them, I am looking forward to try shampoo + ..I know Jamie the cleaner loves shampoo+ for his foam party
#foamparty
Great job as usual-really appreciate all the hard work-in your opinion, would you say these results are the same if used in an IK or Marolex foam sprayer?
Thanks Rick! The IK and Marolex are probably the two best pump sprayer manufacturers. But I prefer the Marolex overall, as you have to pump them way less and they produce more pressure. But regardless which pump sprayer you use, you'll never achieve the same levels of foam as compared to a proper pressure washer and foam cannon setup, for obvious reasons.
@pantheorganizer - you had done a past review of the Griot's Foaming Surface Wash and gave it a very high rating. How does that Griot's FSW compare to the Adams and Armour detail Supply?
It’s 12am now in my part of the world and so I can’t sleep yet without watching this 40min + video 😊 Greetings from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
Mega foam has always been my go to. Great product, at bit on the high side of price, but always good quality.
Thanks for sharing.
Paaaaaan the ORGANIZER! i cant get the intro out of my head. Anyway, from the video, it appeared that the GSF from Koch Chemie had a more even sheeting down the panel and rinsed evenly, but the DIY was close behind and seemed to rinse quick. The Armour also ran down well and as you said rinsed easy. Personally, i would rather have something that runs down and doesnt stick, so it brings the dirt down with it. So for me based on what i saw, it would be the GSF followed by the Armour, then the DIY.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I hope you have a great weekend Mike!
I’ve been using the Adams mega foam and it’s very thick. I ordered 2 gallons when it was on sale so I’ll be using it for a while. Although I’ll be trying the Turtle wax soap in the bucket this spring when I can wash my car at home again. Thanks for another great video Pan.
Thanks Steve!
Awesome video and product comparison good friend
👍🏻
I personally love Phoenix EOD good foam and like the bucket for the contact wash
It’s a top tier soap for sure!👍🏻
Hi Sir, hoping that maybe you can give me an advice on what soap or brand to use on my foam canon and in contact washes as to what is best to use especially I only clean our vehicles outside sun since I dont have a garage. Sincerely Thank you in advance😊😊😊😊
The Auto Fanatic 007 featured here, and the Armour Detail Supply, can both be used outside in the sun. But ideally, always work in the shade on a cool surface, for the best user experience.
Hey I was wondering of u could do a comparison for a good quiet air compressor. For mobil detailing. Some neighborhoods don't like noise also what u think about electric generators or powercells
I am not a mobile detailer, so I don't have any real interest in looking for small and quiet air compressors. Perhaps ask the channels that are mobile detailers, they are likely to give you that info. :)
I always pre rinse before foaming. Mostly because I pre-treat with bug remover. I live in central Oklahoma and drive on the highway all the time, bugs are a huge problem spring and summer.
I use gsf. Use on dry paint let it dwell rinse off. Then refoam and use that for my contact wash with just a rinse bucket( no soap) with a Grit guard. Gsf is the slickest foam I've used. In winter my prewash foam is touchless followed by gsf. Works great for me! Thanks for the video pan. I agree with the comment that your channel makes me spend lots of money lol however due to your good reviews I've stopped wasting money buying untested products!
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Colin!
Pan, loved the video. I have a Ryobi 1800 PW with a 2.5-40 nozzle, I get about 1.40-1.42 GPM at about 1100 psi, and a budget foam cannon from Astro AI with a 1.1mm orifice. I have been using Turtle Wax HS Pure Shine (still can't get the whole name out without fumbling) with your PRESCRIBED "one bucket wash method", and I have to say, its lubricity as a bucket soap and synthetic clay lube, and foaming ability in my setup, with just 1.5oz in 500-600 ml of 105-110 ppm warm/hot water, is *_EXCELLENT_* . However, it was very interesting to see that you described the scent as Tropical because mine does not have any scent at all but it is pink in color. PS - I am looking forward to using Gfx and Incredible Sud this upcoming summer season.
Thanks for sharing your experience. But to make sure, I think you meant to say the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Slick N Slide Pure Wash (and not Pure Shine, that's their Graphene Pure Shine misting detailer hehe).
Great video, can I use the higher PH soap for regular washes if I'm not worried about coatings? Will it damage the clear coat/paint?
It's never recommended to use high pH soaps for regular weekly washes. It's overkill. Use it once in a while, when needed to remove grime, road film, accumulated road salts, etc. See my ultimate spring deep cleaning tutorial for all the details: kzhead.info/sun/oriadqmXp2SFdK8/bejne.htmlsi=VqvH3t79k6L5pp7D
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you!
Great video Pan! Yeah this was an amazing head to head. I love the Apex, Turtle wax, Incredible and ADS Shampoo+ those for me you can’t go wrong!!! Apex is the best bang for buck for sure in a gallon like you said 💪💪
💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Great video as allways. 😎
Thanks! 👍🏻
I love turtle wax, but im going to have to go with Adams just bc your able to use it direct sunlight. this is big for me since I live in an apt and dont have a garage
I was told I could use my Gtechniq GWash in my foam cannon as well as wash bucket. I’ve tried it twice and I get absolutely NO foam at all. Am I doing something wrong or is it not useful for other than hand washing? Thanks.
I have most of these products. Thank you Pan! However my favorite go to is Koch Chemie Super Foam! A bit pricey but well worth it. The fragrance is Sandalwood. I prefer German products for my BMWs, Mercedes and outlier Jaguar F-Type R.
Thanks for sharing! KCx Super Foam and Active Foam are excellent, but much higher pH. This video was all about pH neutral. :)
Great video! Based on watching your videos I have the Active 2.0 pressure washer, the same MJJC snow cannon you used (default orifice 1.25), the Koch Chemie Gsf soap and the CR SPotless system. However, I do not get good foam at all. Any suggestions? TY
You perhaps have hard water issues? Many factors influence the quantity and thickness of foam. What dilution ratio are you using?
followed instructions on bottle 20ml for 1 liter H20. Fortunately our water is not hard plus I'm using the Spotless system. BTW all my stuff is new I'm using these for the first time. TY @@PanTheOrganizer
Great videos as always pan i use koch chemie gfs in the garage and adams mega foam outside 😅
Thanks!
I have used the turtle wax pure wash in the foam cannon and it's awesome , thick foam and great to wash with and does hold on to the car really well.
Thanks for sharing.
Always liked the Adams mega foam but has gotten costly ,so have switched to P&S pearl very versitile and good value.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi Pan - if you were to use a blanket of mega foam before contact wash and then used a different soap for that, would you not be in a way diluting the contact wash soap? I am probably overthinking it
Rinse the foam, then wash.
Great channel Pan! Just purchased a new car for the first time in 10 years and suddenly rediscovered car detailing for some reason....lol. Would you recommend a foam pre-wash or a rinse less spray followed by a pressure rinse as a pre wash? My wife chose a darker color and I'm nervous about scratching the heck out of it, Also what is the best clay lube for a new car to use with a clay towel? Looking forward to more vids as the Summer approaches.

Hi Pan, What happen to CarPro Reset? Depending on what I am doing with a car. Maintenance wash, DeCon wash, Prep for Ceramic Coating wash. I use all the CarPro line up of wash soaps. My basic maintenance wash is Prewash with rinseless wash, foam with Reset, rinse, foam with Reset and 1 bucket hand wash with either a little Reset or rinseless in the bucket. How is that am I over doing it? As always thank you for what you do. It is a pleasure watching your channel and learning tips and tricks in making car detailing great, fast, easy and a joy to do.
Reset is more commonly used in the bucket. Less as a snow. In the bucket, it’s still my favourite car soap for sure. 👍🏻
Great content as always Pan...thank you. That said, been using the Adam Car Shampoo for both wash bucket and foam cannon over the past few washes, however, yesterday I used their Mega Foam in my Boss Foam Cannon, and boy did it make some Serious foam! I will surely make an adjustment to product volume next time. I also have the Koch Chemie Gfx but have not used it yet but looking forward to it. Lastly, I do use warm water to make the delusion. With respect to the pressure washer, I'm using the EGO POWER+ 3200 PSI Pressure Washer (hope you get to test this unit out soon Pan).
Thanks for sharing! And I ordered the EGO battery powered pressure washer, I'm waiting for it to get delivered. I had to order from the USA, as it's not available in Canada yet.
The only one that I've used from your test is the MegaFoam. It's the best pH neutral snow foam that I've used (e.g. CG Honeydoo and Adam's Regular Shampoo). Pros: * shaving cream foam with a 1.1 orifice, 1.2 gpm pressure washer, and TriNova foam cannon. Upgraded to a 2.0 gpm pressure washer and switched to 1.25 orifice in the TriNova and it's even thicker. * It's thin pouring out of bottle so really easy to mix with water in the foam cannon * Still thick foam even when I added something alkaline to it such as 6 oz of Purple Power Heavy-Duty Vehicle and Boat Concentrate. Cons: * I found it to be sticky in the rinse phase when my truck was protected with a ceramic sealant and had a monthly ceramic detailer topper. I've recently ceramic coated my truck, but haven't used the MegaFoam on it.
Thanks for sharing your personal experience Scott. Very detailed response which will likely benefit other viewers.
Do the foam specific soaps really do that much better cleaning wise, compared to the regular bucket soaps? I've been using the regular Ph neutral brand soaps that appear to foam fine, but to be fair I've never purchased the foam soaps for my foam canon.
The pH neutral snow foams are more for lubrication. If you want cleaning power from a pre-wash snow foam you have to go up in the pH scale with something like Bilt Hamber Touch-Less or CarPro Lift. See my video on that here: kzhead.info/sun/a85ulK6NhGp8lWw/bejne.htmlsi=aKAqrBPzq5MBGw2q
Its funny. I really got into car detailing about 3 years ago. I have always taken pride in keeping my cars clean, but i was a hose, bucket, off the shelf car soap and like mothers or similar brand wax. After getting an Audi S3 in 2020 i dove into car detailing in a much more extensive way and at that time i was using a gas pressure washer with a "essential washer" foam cannon and felt like i had really stepped into the "big leagues" using Mr. Pink wash. I loved the scent and swore by the quality of the foam and the product. Fast forward to today and i have found that Mr. Pink is still good, but no longer is my preferred soap. GSF, Adams Ultra/mega foam and gyeon bathe have since become my products of choice. I just purchased some of the DIY detail incredible suds and i have found that i love to buy a different soap as often as possible just to try them out. Pan, i love your videos! Keep it up
Can you use Koch Chemie Gsf on a Modesta Ceramic coated car? I recently had my car coated from a professional shop. thanks
Yes. All of these can be used on coated vehicles.
I have the Opticoat pro plus ceramic coating its been 2 years in and it has lost its hydrophobic abilities. I have been using the optimum (blue colour) car wash every 2 weeks. Its good at foaming but i dont think its got much cleaning power.. What would you recomend to use to rejuvenate the opticoat ceramic coating?
If it was properly installed it should still be there and perhaps it’s just clogged. See my ceramic coating rejuvenation tutorial here: kzhead.info/sun/oriadqmXp2SFdK8/bejne.htmlsi=MiPP1alvkRGhaxmZ And Opti-Coat themselves made a video showing how they rejuvenate a coating that was applied 9 years ago here: kzhead.info/sun/fL6pm6-FiaiaeYE/bejne.htmlsi=RWFTTC9qKVteo8Ew Often coatings can be clogged or masked by minerals or road film. So you do steps do decontaminate and rejuvenate. Welcome to my channel. Pan! Curious if you are going to review any of the new XPEL care products. They came out with a new line and I’m curious if they’re any good. They’re better known for PPF and ceramic coatings… wondering if they can produce a decent soap and detail spray etc.
If I get enough viewer requests for it I’ll look into it for sure.
Another informative vlog, I did enjoy your your experiment of neutral pH vs high pH. It showed the cleaning power of the higher pH snow foam. Perhaps you might consider an experiment test of various neutral pH snow foam soap and the cleaning power of each on a dirty vehicle. I did appreciate you mentioning your top three in this video as far as lubricating when hand washing from a bucket.
I made a video of the 15 best pH neutral soaps here: kzhead.info/sun/nruMgbeoe2KIqq8/bejne.htmlsi=ZdjmVTgvG9EdMvGP Once a good pre-wash is made, a pH neutral soap is usually all you'll need. Once in a while, you can use an acidic shampoo to remove limescale and mineral buildup and water spots (like CarPro Descale or Labocosmetica Purifica).
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan
I think the combo of using their products, the performance, and the KZhead videos that they produce - I have converted to DIY Detail. I have one car that has a CarPro a professional ceramic coating and use that line of products on it. All of my other cars are now DIY. I’m about to put on the “stack” this spring.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you.
I like 007 snow storm been using that and adams and diy detail. Want to try shampoo + from armour detail
👍🏻
Great video of pan, he said don’t sleep on it ✊🏿 apex auto wash is good, they should add some smells cause I’m about that bougie life pan
#bougielife
Yo Pan, One of your best videos where you simplified the process....1 once for everyone and let's see the results. Companies and/or manufacturers will need to give serious attention to such details and simplicity as the industry moves progressively forward. I have used and still use the Turtle Wax as for the cost, the impact of contact wash and outcome remain my priorities. I want to give DIY suds a try and just ordered it. As a suggestion, I believe you should consider including additional suppliers to your links such as stores in Ontario, Quebec and even the Maritimes so that shipping cost and shipping time are possibly reduced for your subscribers and our clients. Keep up the good work, appreciate your expertise, insights and recommendations!! Regards, Edmond Martin
Thanks for the feedback Edmond. As a quick side note, I am very limited in the number of words in the video description, so I can't possibly add all those extra links. Also, just searching and including all those links is already a task that takes a lot of time (I have 1000 videos on my channel, so you can imagine). Producing a video takes me 10-15 hours on average. It's insane the amount of work that goes into making these. Have a great weekend!
I'm just looking a good value (high concentrate) foam that is completely safe on my ceramic coating but still cuts through the grime as good as a high alkaline foam
You can't get that. No pH neutral snow foam can cut through grime and road film like a higher alkaline snow foam. pH neutral for weekly washes and lubrication is all you need. Once in a while, for a deeper cleaning, removal of grime and traffic film, that's when you step up to a higher alkaline snow foam like Bilt Hamber Touch-Less or CarPro Lift. I use both on my ceramic coated car with no issues. Just don't use those on a weekly basis.
I have used Mr. pink in the past and I now use 007 Snow Storm and Adam’s Mega Foam. I have used the last soap and another one from Glassparency and I had liked them both too. This video makes me want to buy or try other soaps such as Kochchemie, Diy detail and Armour.
Thanks for sharing!!
I am a big fan of the Turtle Wax Pure Wash. I use it for hand washing 98% of the time, but it's the perfect foam for my needs when I wanna do foam. Highly recommend especially if you use paste waxes.

I use the Pheonix EOD and turtle wax soaps everyday in my mobile business. Turtle wax if I'm claying as I wash. Pheonix if it a maintenance clean.
Thanks for sharing David.
I always look forward to “Saturday morning with Pan” Ty. As always great job with your solid explanations and attention to detail. It just so happens I picked up a chemical guys 16oz sticky snowball ultra snow foam yesterday. Truth be told I only made the purchase because the packaging was so attractive. 😂😂. What I really went to pick up was Chemical guys floor mat cleaner & protectant. Maybe you can put this floor mat cleaner & protectant up against your McKeeys product you like to use. I don’t usually purchase Chemical guys but I do like a few of their products Again thank you for “Saturday morning with Pan” All the best.
Thanks Peter! I hope you'll have a great weekend.
Hey pan, been watching for a while but cannot seem to find the best contact/bucket soap for ceramic coated cars. I’m protected with crystal serum ultra and I’ve been using G wash but I really don’t think it’s been affective. Do you have any suggestions or maybe even to create a new video on best bucket soaps for ceramic cars!!

@@PanTheOrganizer I can use car pro reset every week as a regular wash soap?
I was a bit surprised when you mentioned the Adams should be used more as a prewash. I’ve been using it for my two bucket method. Nonetheless, always great to hear your expert perspective as I’m just a consumer
I actually asked Chris Gallahar, the main chemist at B&B which blends Adam's products, and here's his response: "Adam’s Mega Foam is designed and intended to be aerated - so used via a Foam Cannon with a Pressure Washer or a Foam Gun with a standard Garden Hose. It basically requires that aeration from the Foam Cannon/Gun, and some pressure, to really get the ‘oomph’ out of the foaming. The Adam’s Mega Foam was launched primarily due to its intended usage with those other tools as a companion product, so it should be used as such. If you’re going with a bucket wash, I’d suggest reaching for any of the other formulas. Will it work in a bucket wash? Technically, yes, but nothing miraculous. It would look paltry compared to any of the other shampoos, which are more designed around any of a 2-bucket wash or a foam cannon/gun because they’re using more standard, primary and secondary surfactant systems, whereas Adam’s Mega Foam is actually quite unique in its composition." I hope this helps.
@@PanTheOrganizer this definitely helps. My understanding of prewash might be the issue. I thought prewash was the foaming of the car using the foam cannon then rinsing, just to get the initial dirt off the car. I apply foam again to the car prior to doing the contact wash using the two bucket method. From my understanding the Koch chemie gentle snow foam was a good pre wash when used in a foam cannon. I’ve been using Adams megafoam is my foam cannon and in the buckets. With your suggestion I should keep the Adams for the foam cannon and add another product in the buckets for a contact wash, which I’ll look to do!
hey Pan , I'm car detailing enthusiast from Saudia Arabia . thanks for the great vids , one thing to mention here the prices here are absolutely different , GSF 1 L here is 18$ and Mr.pink is 18.5 $ . Again Thanks for the Great content ...
