His athleticism resurged in 13 too but the achilles ended it all.

Basically, not only did he do everything Kobe does better (meaning way more efficiently and may more often) but he had tons of moves Kobe could not duplicate. Jordan's game is instinctive...improvised. With Kobe, you can see/feel the repetition. You can tell (again, if you know Jordan's game enough) he watched Jordan and repeated his moves a ton of time. With Kobe, it feels like choreography. There is nothing Kobe did that Jordan did not do before. But there are moves/shots that Jordan did that Kobe never did. Even on his channel, you can see MJ at 35 having more shots/moves than Kobe. Let alone when he was in his prime (84-93). And quite frankly, Kobe is a tough second because you can choose Penny Hardaway, Dwayne Wade. But I can give the edge to Kobe on the second place.

      @luka5465@luka54653 жыл бұрын
    • @GEO GOAT lol, legacy wise Kobe is 8-10, skill wise bumps him up to 6 for me, if we’re judging just off of scoring skill he’s number 2 or 3 all time. He doesn’t have the playmaking passing threat to make him the #1 skilled of all time. He’s still a good passer but the threat to wear if you double team him he will kill you with his passing ability... Kobe usually just shoots over. And this is where you’re wrong, you’re seeing me as a Kobe hater when I literally love Kobe and he’s basically my favorite player ever ( in the top 5 range because I love a lot of players ).. I’m just here to tell the truth.

    • Villacreses Borja Bryan MJ relied more on off the ball movement where he would offball cut for a layup or dunk or he would shoot a C&S midrange jumper off a pin down. Also in the post MJ was stronger so he can get his shot easier in the post, jumped higher than Kobe and finish in the paint when he spinned baseline in the post. Kobe had to use craftiness more & couldn’t get instantaneous separation from his defender with less athleticism. MJ could get his jumper off easier cause defenders were so scared of his driving ability. Also Kobe could’ve been more efficient in a different system other than the triangle. The triangle was more predicated on working at the elbows & post area. Maybe Kobe would’ve been more efficient in a offense with 3 point shooters spread out everywhere using the P&R where Kobe is the main ball handler. Look at Derozan shooting over 50% from the field, Derozan had worst efficiency than Kobe in Toronto. Your telling me that Demar can shoot over 50% but Kobe can’t

    • LOL What the fuck are you talking about kid? Jordan shot over 51% from the field his entire career, he just had the common sense not to shoot all the time. If he'd played 20 years in the NBA, he'd have been all-time scorer. Kobe was the beginning of this "Only look at PPG" bullshit. Yeah he scored a lot of points, but he shot 44% from the field. He doesn't have a better player on his team cleaning up his mess, and he's Iverson.

    • People only remember the last years of Kobe. The truth is that Kobe in his prime was hated by the media and Players. Kobe was guarded by very dirty players like Raja Bell, Bruce Bowen, Patterson and im sure I am forgetting some more. kobe literally got kicked and clotheslined and that was a regular foul LOL. Not to mention D. Wade busted Kobes nose in the All Star game LOL. No one plays defense in the All Star Game but that's is how they felt about Kobe.

  • Kobe the greatest defensive player and scorer, nobody can do all the things he does. Thanks, Maxamillion711 for sharing with us, Kobe Bryant Highlights From The 2007-2008 Season. Kobe has never been given any kind of credit for his defensive tackiest, he does more to many sure that the team win than anyone on the team. It's like he's carrying the team on his back all the time no matter who is on the team. Kobe is a well-rounded player, yes he's the GOAT and he's a Legend. Kobe is more than that he will always be more than, his defensive defies gravity. He elevates himself far beyond what a point guard does. With Kobe, it is "Go Big or Go Home" but in this case, it "Win or Lose" and losing is unacceptable, He'll get it done if he has to stretch to the higher than anyone, with him, there are no limits as to how high he jumps in order to get the ball and score. Kobe pushest himself beyond the limits of an athlete. I know he has a vision and he can see, beyond anyone on the court, his focus is so surreal. He's our Superman went he's on the court. And everyone that is playing ball should take a look at Kobe the way he scores, how he scores, how he read his opponent, how he read the plays while he on the court. He knows everything, he pays attention to detail, the way he plays is beyond what the average players do. They should take a closer look as to how Kobe play and take some of that-that Kobe does and think about naming some of the plays like the pull-up shots, the windmill, his fake moves, the positions that he likes to post up and make his shots of course with Kobe that could be anywhere on the court. They all should think about these plays and consider naming them after Kobe. So, no one will ever forget him they will always remember him on the court. If they don't want to do that they should think about renaming the Staple Center to"The House That Kobe Built" He played there for over half of his life he definitely needs more than a statue. Kobe is from another planet, you can not box him and try to define him. Black Mamba does not define who Kobe is, because he has done so much on the court to ensure his team win, he a winner, and a winner can not define. His gift, his talent stretches far beyond the basketball court. So, do not box Kobe in, because the man is Great, and no one has ever and will ever be as great a player as he is, Kobe has climbed so many mountains to get to where he is today. It would be well worth this generation of players to really take a look at how Kobe played and how Kobe won on the court and off the court. He has God's Favor. So please stop disregarding him, he has earned the right to in all conversations concerning the games, the disrespect of Kobe speech volumes. It lets us fans know how you truly feel about Kobe. You say one thing out of your mouth and turn around do something entirely different. If Kobe is the only play that's so much- much like Jordan then give Him and Jordan the respect befitting of them. No one can compare to either one of them, because they are uqient, the same as all the Goats on Goats Mountian. So stop directing Kobe. As Michael Jordan said "He's His Little Brother" I agree.

  • This guy hit a 12 foot left handed baby hook. Yooo he’s the most skilled of all time. MJ has the best career but Kobe will make any shot any day. Anybody else remember the left handed 3 pointer he hit in the corner with a guy draped on his right hand so he put it up with the left and drained it as the shot clock winded down. Against the Mavs and Mark Cuban is in the back like wtf was that dude?!

Kobe would’ve done a lot for the coronavirus a lot of people would’ve admired him for this outbreak! He would have given a lot of money to the sports World especially. Kobe Bryant, and Gianna Bryant would have been shooting hoops quarantined in their driveway at home right now! I can see them playing one on one game of basketball at home in their driveway while the coronavirus was happening right now making a video of just the two of them in their Driveway going Live at Home on Social Media doing what they loved the most. Playing basketball! 🏀 Right now from their home, amid Social Distancing! RIP!
