      @AgentWK@AgentWK7 ай бұрын
    • @AgentWK Wilt was the most athletic player to ever do it but he wanted to show skill as well and if the rules were different back then and the rims could take it Wilt would play much like a taller Giannis but with a post game. The man averaged 45 minutes a night for his entire career, now imagine him being able to rest. Imagine him not in Converse getting punched and kicked regularly. Now let that monster of a man watch Jordan film or Bird film or hell even Hakeem. Put him in today where it's easier to score he averages 50 in a season in today's era too. He ran as fast as Bron jumped higher and benched more than prime Shaq at 59 years old 4 years before his death. Let him play today he would just showcase everything he had back then and probably more

Easily one of the best shooters when he's getting streaky, unmatched athleticism, has one of if not the best IQ this game has ever seen, has the strength of an NBA center, and has always been clutch his whole life. That's as complete as you can get as a basketball player. Anybody who says otherwise is just in denial. Even at year 17, still the best in the league. He might not have the same athleticism as Giannis right now but is far more superior in every other facet of the game. He might not be as consistent on the defensive end but come playoff time he's a much better defender than Kawhi and KL choked a 3-1 series lead. KD might be up there but he isn't as durable and not as good as a playmaker as LBJ. Doncic might have a similar game but lacks the athleticism. Can't even mention Harden in this conversation. AD is a straight up beast but still inconsistent at times. I mean, nobody's even close to being as complete as him.

  • This was his peak. The team matched up poorly with those proto 4 out, three point shooting Magic, but if Michael Pietrus doesn't get hot, the Cavs win the championship that season. They matched up wonderfully with the Lakers. Gasol hated playing Andy Varejao and LeBron was straight better than Kobe in every way. If you watched every game and look at all the advanced stats, it is pretty clear that this LeBron was his absolute peak. You had to see the Magic series to understand how much a matchup problem it was, how hot their role players were, and just how dominant peak Dwight Howard was. LeBron still led the league in playoff winshares that year despite not getting to the Finals. That is nearly impossible. Yes, he evolved and won more later, but this guy was just absurd.

I wish he had kept this playing style and just continued to refine his shooting and post footwork as the athleticism waned over the years. Would still be averaging 35 ppg. It’s crazy to see Lebron control the game more than a decade ago at such a young age. His athleticism and body control really stand out in this season and I feel like really shows the package that he had. No matter what, he could buy a bucket in any situation and it showed. Whether it was a running hook crisscrossing the paint, a step back three off the dribble, or a twisting smooth lay up going 90mph, this man was just different.
