    @therealdonaldtrump1646@therealdonaldtrump16464 жыл бұрын
    • That narrative is one of the funniest ones I have ever heard. This instantly, to me, makes him an overrated player. Harden isn’t ANYWHERE NEAR prime Kobe in terms of defense OR scoring, which is Hardens strength. Harden doesn’t have even one NBA all defensive team nomination, not even 3rd. Kobe is tied for the most NBA All Defensive teams in NBA history with 12. 9 first team, 3 second team. Harden isn’t as explosive or deadly as Kobe in terms of scoring. Hahaha 😂 “Harden is as good as a prime Kobe” Shit is hilarious.

    • Harden his FG% is maybe a little less then Kobe. Jordan tops them bove with much better FG% and avarage more points. Harden is really a ball hugger. Maybe pass a little more and make less bad shots so his FG% becomes better, other team players score more and team becomes better.

Almost all Jordan his seasons were 500 + FG% and almost all 30+ points a game. 35 points, 33, 31, 37. These kinds avarage a game with much higher FG%.

      @Balal8281@Balal82814 жыл бұрын
    • @@Balal8281 Yeah sure he was great but his FG% could have been a little better. His assists this year was also not that great. I think a Magic Johnson in 1986 who scored more then 23 points a game over 525% FG and more then 12 assist a game is more affective in a team. Less shooting and still more then 23 points and 12 assists also make more then 24 extra team points. MJ had in avarage also about 0.7 assists more then Kobe. And then prime MJ years for example the 35 points a game season he also had about 1.5 assist more a game then Kobe. Kobe was great but less effective and in my opinion also then Magic. And Shaq was as good as Kobe, a little less points a game but allot more rebounds a game. Don't wanna act like a troll or something but i just don't like it when there saying Kobe was for example better then MJ, it's clearly nonsense. And individuele i think MJ, Magic and Bird were more effective for there team then Kobe.

  • Kobe Bryant is the most pure "skilled" basketball player I have seen in my lifetime. He is a prime example of a "complete basketball player" He could shoot effectively from the post, mid-range, and snipe you from 3pt land. In addition he had a quick first step, could easily split a double with his elite ball handling skills which would lead to either a finish at the rim or a mid-range pullup. His footwork was impeccable and he could shoot over either shoulder with his back to the basket and could make contested jump shots. The difference between him and Jordan outside of athleticism was 3-pt shooting, range, and ballhandling. #RIPKOBE #TBE

His footwork was better his 3pt his free throw. Etc.. but mj was better. We could agree or disagree but that’s how I see it. The only things I could say Kobe had over Jordan, was 3pt shooting and footwork. Their free throws were super similar in the playoffs and regular season.

  • What makes this season so impressive and why he deserved the MVP, he was the ONLY one on that team and the league knew it, the sole goal for every NBA team was to stop Kobe, months and weeks to plan and they still couldn’t stop him, opponents were absolutely helpless, he was the most dominant player on the planet for years, he average 43 a points a game in the month of January, second best total in NBA history. He has the second most 40 point games in a season in NBA history. An 81 point game, that season over 200 teams failed to hit that mark that year(insanity) He is the only player in NBA history to average over 35 all defense first team. I keep hearing how he was never dominant or the single best player on the planet, ever; I keep hearing how he is top 15 but no higher? 😂 children say the darnedest things. Watch the tape and ask the players that played against him, Nash had a better record, but he also had a better team. Kobe’s 2005-2006 season is probably the best we’ve seen since Jordan’s 86-87 season.

  • This was probably the greatest offensive season ever when you adjust the pace of the NBA and compare it to other years. For example, when Kobe scored 35 points a game that year, the pace of the NBA was much slower than when Jordan average 37 points or when Wilt averaged 50 or Harden putting up 36 last year. I think Kobe personally mastered his game in 2007 and from 2007 to 2012 he kept adding to his footwork packages but 2005-2006 was Kobe at his best. He bulked up to 220 pounds during the off-season and made it his goal to put the Lakers in the playoffs off the strength of his back. That year he terrorized the NBA like how the COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on the human population.

    • @Quincy "This was probably [the greatest] offensive season [ever]" RIP to Kobe. But in the words of Chris Broussard: "C'mon man, STOP IT!!" You can take that "pace" argument and throw it right in the garbage where it belongs. Because when the league wide pace was at 100.6 ppg in '89, MJ avg'd 32ppg. And when the league wide pace dropped to 96.8 ppg in '93, he STILL avg'd 32ppg! So your "pace" argument has NO MERIT to it whatsoever. Besides, there's a BIG DIFFERENCE between their respective 35ppg seasons. And here are some of the MAJOR differences: FG%: MJ 54.1 FG% > Kobe 45.2 FG% Games with 4+ steals: MJ 31 (152 steals) > Kobe 10 (47 steals) Games with 2+ blocks: MJ 100 > Kobe 6 Case in point: it's not the same. There's levels to this...

  • Took me over a whole hour and a half, to get through this 44 minute montage.. of Kobe's 05-06 GOAT SZN. Replayed so many of these highlights, countless times. This was the greatest individual season, I've ever witnessed. In my going on 36 years of living on this earth. For an entire 82 game stretch, and 7 playoff games. Kobe literally imposed his will, on every opposing team. Now did they win 60 games that season, or even made it out the 1st round of the playoffs? No. But if you take Kobe off this 2005-2006 iteration of the Lakers.. they're not winning no more than 20 games. Come on, they had my boy Smush Parker starting for them at point guard, lol. It was so many games throughout that season, when I was like.. "This is gonna be a tough matchup for the Lakers tonight. I hope my boy Smush doesn't play like hot garbage tonight. And is atleast serviceable." Naw like forreal guys. I was nervous every Lakers game, that Smush was going to embarrass himself that night (he was one of my faves at that time). 45-50 Kobe points later. And they've secured another victory, over a significantly better team. Never seen anything like it, over that long period of time. Kobe's will, with supreme skill. Was something that even the world's best basketball ball league couldn't match, during that particular season. Man. If Kwame did not rotate off of Timmy Thomas to the paint -- up by 3 mind you -- to stop a probing Steve Nash (Tim Thomas hit the game tying 3 that forced OT.. when LA was up 3 games to 2, against the 2nd seed Suns).. we'll never know how even greater, this season could've been for Kobe Bean Bryant. Forget GOAT SZN Maxamillion.. this was GOD season. Btw.. what more does a man have to do, to win MVP? 35 ppg, plus .500 record, averaged over 40 ppg for the month of January. With Smush Parker as your starting point guard, and Kwame Kirkpatrick, I mean Brown as your starting center. If that doesn't prove you're the most valuable player.. I don't know what does.

  • People dont understand how insane this season was. 2005-2006 is considered one of the slowest paced seasons ever. This season, the NBA recently took off the hand check thr previous season and illegal decenses were completly abolished. Refs were still adjusting to the new non gand check rule so hard fouls were still a thing which slowed down the pace of the game. And yet, this man averaged 35 points per game in a dead ball era
