  • In my opinion this version of Kobe Bryant is when he was at his best. This is the Kobe I would have liked to see over a young MJ.

  • I know the NBA like to award someone on a winning team...but when a player is playing out of his mind like Kobe did you gotta give them the MVP. Even though the Lakers struggled a bit back in this season I loved it, watching a whole team gear up to stop Kobe but he still goes off was amazing.

    • Eliezer Machuca with more talent, the most valuable player is the last person a team could afford to lose. Kobe had that team in a respectable area of the west, without him and they'd be dogshit

    • Josh Schmidt the mvp award goes to the most valuable player, and that usually means that the player brought his team to one of the best records in the league

    • redSkinzFAN100 the mvp award goes to the player a team couldn't afford to lose. Kobe brought that trash ass team to a 45-37 record while Nash had a much better team leading them to a 54-28 record. It should also be mentioned that Kobe averaged 35 5 4 while Nash averaged 18 4 10... It's pretty clear Kobe was robbed

  • Kobe's lineup was Smush Parker, Luke Waltom, Kwame Brown and Lamar Odom. Goddam Jerry Buss supposed to be the legendary recruiter but he this is what you give kobe in his peak? If kobe had the luxury like MJ of having the same core team plus Phil Jackson around him every year of his athletic prime no doubt that he would have surpasses jordan in rings.

  • Buzzer beaters aren't everything. Reason why I say this is because a lot of Kobe's game winners were not at the buzzer, but in late game situations that changed the whole outcome of the game. Majority of them are impossible shots nobidy ekse in NBA history could make

The thunder already beat the breaks off of LA and San Antonio is probably better than ever and Kobe got spanked by them multiple times in his prime. He can't outscore OKC's backcourt and he has no supporting cast. He needs a good center and people to run triangle with.

    • Anderson A. point is, there are things LeBron can do that Kobe cant either, and in his prime today, Lebron clearly looks to be the best player since Jordan. I doubt Kobe can score like he does while shooting respectable field goal percentage... Whereas Lebron has shot 49% percent from the field and scored 27 ppg for a career... not to mention averaging 7 rebounds and 7 assists for his career... as well as shooting a ridiculous 60 percent from the field this year... Anyways, there are some things that Lebron has done since the beginning that Kobe cant do... ever. Btw, I did have something better to say but I decided to correct a pretty stupid mistake before I said it

  • Some of these shots look lucky but that's the amazing thing. Isn't never luck with Kobe all skill. He just leaves you thinking what else more could I have done to stop this guy. The answer is you can't

  • Should've been MVP this year. If only he would've gotten past the Suns in the first round he'd have gotten it. I know that the MVP is supposed to be regular season only, but they don't award it until after the first round, and the voters definitely factor that into their voting even if they're not supposed to.
