Luka and Kyrie might get away with playing good defense for a game or two but not for 7 games; it's just not who they are and both ain't physically built to deal with that kind wear and tear. Kyrie knows he doesn't have the athleticism of Kobe so he really put out the work in mastering the other asset of Kobe's game which is his creativity and skills. Unbelievable player. His 2021 run with Harden is still one of the biggest what if in history. Giannis with that dirty play surely benefited him for winning his lucky ring.

I agree with Kyrie, without him the Clippers would blow out the Mavericks. Luka is ok, not the best in this game.
Well, luka has 5 more assists and 3 more rebounds for a trible double and Kyrie turned over the ball 7 times while Luka only has 4. You can blame Luka all you want, but all throughout the entirety of the season till this game, Luka has been consistently the valuable player than Kyrie. Trust me, George and Harden won't be able to show this kind of performance again. This was already their miracle.

What i love about this game is it looked like harden wasn't having any of that playoff anxiety. He did not even look to take a 3 pointer except one time in the 4th clutch time and even then, he decided to drive. They couldnt stop him, he just slid past everybody on his way to the cup
Playoff anxiety is a myth, he averages 22.7 points 6.3 assist and 5.5 rebounds in playoffs which is a very still insane

this game will go down to history. Four great stars on court and all of them performed beautifully. PG, Harden and Kyrie making all of us nostalgic feeling like it was year 2017 or something. Clippers had a 30+ point lead and blew it on the fourth and what it seemed like it'd be a MAJOR Dallas comeback, ended with an amazing final 3 minutes by PG and Harden one last time to secure the W and save the Clippers from imminent elimination going down 1-3. What a game of basketball!! So much on the line for both teams especially the Clippers. Kyrie, Paul George and Harden had us on the edge of our seats. If the Clippers had lost it would've been heartbreaking for sure. Blowing a 31 point lead? That would've been all over sports center. If you been watching the NBA you know, no lead is safe. Especially being up that big early in the 2nd quarter. You knew the Mavs were gon make a run. Up 31 in the 3rd has a different feel. I don't like how the Clippers had to grind it out but they showed resilience. Teams fold blowing a big lead like that. Harden and PG said" Nope. We ain't going back to L.A down 3-1. I took a break from NBA for about five years and just watched my local league. It’s amazing how much the game has changed. Travels and carrying seems pretty much the norm on half the plays and there is virtually no defence because if the defender has any contact with the shooter they are called for a foul regardless of whether they initiated contact or not. Bring back the days of hand checking and bouncing the freakin ball!

The defense of Mann on Luka was cold 🥶 The clinical shooting of PG from the three point line 🔥 The Harden ISO floaters to seal the fourth 😵💫 And then you have Westbrook and his weird looking shots and wild misses 😅 Not a fan of both teams but this match was pretty good. Kyrie Irving though is head and shoulders the best player of the Mavericks especially when it counts. Luka struggling big time with people who CAN actually defend physically on him lol
