Kobe vs Iverson & Melo 2008 1st Round GM1 Full Highlights - 92 Points Combined

April 20, 2008
Three of the top four scorers of the 2007-08 regular season all drop 30+ to open up this western conference 1st round series. It was a high scoring, entertaining game with lots of trash talk. Kobe got off to a slow start but picked it up as the game wore on. He scored 28 points in the 2nd half, including 18 in the 4th quarter alone. You could say this was a sneak peak into what was coming in game 2...

Brad Steven actually pioneered the analytics revolution. He was hired by the Celtics to compete with LeBron in the East, but it's the Warriors who realized the full potential of analytics. Now the analytics nerds run the NBA. Lebron is a victim of the new NBA. He would have had 10 rings by now. You just wanted a reason to hate on him.

    • @@NETBU I literally just said how good Allen Iverson was in the original post bro 🤣 how could i be hating? He clearly states in many interviews that he would skip practice sometimes, and when kobe went to the gym he was at the club. I can post links if you want, i got the receipts. Stop being so sensitive, i’m not hating just repeating what allen iverson said himself

  • I appreciate this video so much. I really would love to know how the NBA brass came to the conclusion to make the game more "free flowing". This was a relatively high scoring game but it is Game 1 with the two best Western Conference teams. So, it makes sense but now with the lack of defense and rule changes this score can happen every night. The old NBA was better 😂
