  • Chris, your work ethic is the reason why your equipment is so reliable. You pay attention to the little details, and it shows in the product you end up with. Doing what you have done so far by removing excess rebar is why that crusher will work so well for you. I've enjoyed every minute of this project and cant wait to see how the other area pans out for you.

  • When I was still working in field we use to cut that size of conveyor belt into 15-20 foot lengths to use for equipment unloading/unload on pavement etc…tougher than wood at about same weight

  • You’ve moved through that huge pile of concrete a lot faster than I expected. I figured it would take a month or more to crush the concrete in this area.

    • And just think this is a small crusher compared to what we run... we crush limestone for the state roads and we have a stacker that at least 150' long and the piles are over 70' high in no time. Now granted this is clean rock from the ground and no rebar to deal with and the bigger pieces get ran threw a jaw crusher first before the hammer crusher but you get the point.

  • The crusher chops though its consumables at an alarming rate :-) I suppose that the pile that is there now, could be kept knocked down with the excavator to save moving the stacker.

  • I do a lot of crushing, and you are more than right, i am sure. The harder you push the crusher the more trash you throw in, the less tons you will make. Whats 5 or 7 percent less an hour in a ten or twelve hour day, compared to 2hours or more downtime.
