Funny how Russia gets upset with some countries sending tanks over, but it was okay for Russia to just go into a country and try to take it.
The Soviets never had issues supplying N. Korea or Vietnam when they were fighting us, but the Soviet hardliners in power now are suddenly easily offended by assistance to a sovereign nation.
And they're getting weapons from Iran and North Korea.

The sad truth about war is that most of the unfortunate souls who meet their fate on the battlefield never truly understand the reasons they were fighting.

@Michael Petrovich no they haven't. The only reason NATO gave them the weapons is because Ukraine proved they would use them responsibly and not just surrender immediately like they did in 2014. It took us like 3 months to even start sending them weapons. In this first 3 months Ukraine sunk a battleship, destroyed russias elite tank guard, and maintained air superiority

182 modern main battle tanks (promised or about to be), that's 13 tank companies. 294 IFV that could be compared to light tanks. A total of almost 500 modern "tanks". This war has barely began, we are yet to see the might of the combined Russian Forces ---the Ukrainians have been extensively utilizing the Asov and foreign regiments and the Russians have been utilizing the Wagner auxiliary forces, either way---the war is finally here, now that German panzers have once again to attempt to breakdown Russian defensive lines.... In the meantime, there is NO HOPE for negotiated peace, until Ukraine exorcizes its desire for a conventional battle or two, against the murderous kremlin autocracy.

If sending Abrams tanks is direct involvement, we need to send more. Also more HIMARS and ATACMS.
Ukraine needs at least 300 Leopard2 tanks and germany already have 550 Leopard2 tanks stored and ready to send to Ukraine. Good news is that Poland is already training big number of Ukrainian soldiers how to use Polish Leopard2 tanks. In the meantime Poland sent 460 T-72 and PT-91 tanks modernized by Poland as donation for Ukraine to help Ukraine in war effort.

Those M1A2 abrams will take up to 6-8 months to a year before their ready for actual combat in Ukraine so if their not ready to fight against Russian forces in June, than maybe in August and if not August then as early as January 2024 depending on how long the training is gonna be to learn everything about the Abrams tank

Ukraine put much of what they had in that region since 2015 because of the transportation hub. Demilitarization means eliminating that threat. Russia does not have to go far. Proud Ukrainians lining up to get killed in one spot. Some areas can't be held forever.

Corrections Canada has prisoners make our service uniforms. In the coast guard I can honestly say are uniforms rarely fit and are put together poorly. So the idea that Russia wants prisoners assembling military assets is pretty funny to me. Everything is just going to fall apart. Most prisoners tend to not have the best marketable skills, hence the crime.
