Indeed, the man is a hero. Both for his service in America and in Ukraine. He was 60 when he volunteered to fight, by the way. Hope I'm that tough when I'm 60.
It was interesting though being close has a danger of missing other parts of the picture. The comment about oligarchs seemed out of place as they clearly are foot soldiers worried about drops from their windows rather than mafia dons. He may have been thinking of Prigozhin and Shoigu who have rival PMCs.

Interesting and very relevant. The fact that over 250 Polish sourced T72s were used as a consolidated battle group to lead the Kharkiv offensive last September which retook the province in 72 hours shows that the Ukrainians know to to use their tanks effectively and just how timely Nato sourced donations of heavy weapons in large quantities can have a massive winning impact.

Malcolm Nance was one of the few voices who said that Ukraine would *not* be overrun in Feb 2022, you can go back and read his analysis - he was there in Kyiv then. That and that he then joined the UAF and did his bit.... massively credible source,

I'm happy to see Malcom back being interviewed as he is a very active supporter of Ukraine and even fight along side the Ukrainian Army. That's why his assessment to this war is the most accurate and reliable source of information. The last time I watched him being interviewed by CNN he was in the Frontline wearing a Ukrainian military uniform. I was wondering what was happened to him as I didn't see any news about him since that interview that's why I'm happy to see him alive. He's a great man and a hero to this war. To the people who are trying to say how good Russia is really doing, you don't go around replacing senior officers repeatedly like Putin has been doing if you are doing well.

Not when the escalation continues. The war has changed in intensity and dynamics and that requires appropriate response.
Your concern should be it's a no win situation and both sides are going to take losses, Ukraine and NATO are not going to get off easily. I don't think we have an argument there or do we?

Sweden has no MBTs to send but has announced sending 50 CV90 IFVs, NLAW anti-tank weapons, mine clearing equipment and possibly the Archer artillery system. This is aid not leasing (like some other nations do).

Russia has gained >100km² since the arrival of HIMARS while Ukraine has liberated 74,000km². That pretty much says it all.
War is not just measured in km2, it's more number of dead. Russia and out perish Ukraine 3 to 1. They will win eventually unless Ukraine get long range missiles and jets too.

However, Russis, if you are listening, it will not take Ukrainians months to learn the Leopards. Some of the tankers are already trained on them. Almost as soon as ammo arrives and all have been transported to the front, they will be ready to roll out. Abrams are much much different, but tankers are already being trained on them, too. Tanks breakdown, run-out of fuel and armo, tanks don't move fast, they were great during ww2. Even in Vietnam their only use was as mobile flame throwers, Helicopters did the combat. I rather back ballistic missiles with huge yield war heads decimating huge areas than slow moving tanks that if they hit ground ice or snow sludge are pretty fking useless,by the way if water gets into the fuel system you can call it quits.
