  • Came right at a time when I was actually checking them out! Great review! Also, question about the Cloud II, have you had any issues regarding popping/crackling with the included DAC? Seen a few people with that issue. And again, thanks for the great review!

    • LooneyJuice I personally have not, but I don't use the DAC full time.

    • JuanBagnell Understood, thank you, sir. Probably a defect in a few of them.

    • LooneyJuice It could be. I imagine their QA might not be as strict at that price point, but I've always had good experiences working with Kingston reps.

  • These look pretty damn good, gotta love sennheiser. I have an audio question though, I have a zoom H4N and was wondering if there was a way that I could use 2 GiantSquid Lab mics with it. They are 3.5mm imputs so would I have to get an adapter to 6.3mm for the two XLR ports or would that fry the mic (I've heard this can happen)

    • Clientech I can't see where a pair of wired lavs would get fried. Got a link to people complaining about that issue?

      @SomeGadgetGuy@SomeGadgetGuy9 жыл бұрын
    • No, I believe I heard it directly from another audio guy, but hey, you ARE the audio guy so I guess Ill take your word for it. It may be because I was thinking of taking XLR to 3.5mm.

    • Clientech Maybe, but the only time things have gotten hot for me when mixing cabling and inputs, is when I plug a portable recorder into a camera which is feeding phantom power to the inserts. Even that wasn't enough to actually fry a mic, just clip and distort the audio.

  • They came out with another improvement or changes... removable cord providing both 2 3.5jack / 1 3.5 jack for consoles.... impedence reduce to 50ohms from 150ohms...

    • +Firsst Knight Oh. Those would be nice updates. 50ohms, this thing should be driven decently by high end phones.

      @SomeGadgetGuy@SomeGadgetGuy8 жыл бұрын
    • +JuanBagnell exactly.. when i read that there were changes on the removable cords, I just went over to their website and check and found the impedence is now at 50ohms, I find it very good as not many user do understand the impedence and usually criticise the sound. So now since it is now at 50ohms it will definately be a plus for most users now. Wonder would you be doing a review on the new set to find the difference, which I am quite interested to know. They change the name too, to GAME instead of G4ME.. wonder why... I own a set and uses it on my 9 year old top of the notch then sound card CREATIVE... and it sounds real good with creative EQ and some of their available settings. I use creative EQ as pre EQ and top it with Razers surround pro EQ and their surround. Wonders!!!!!!!

    • Firsst Knight I'll reach out to my Sennheiser contact. I'd be interested in hearing the difference.

    • +Andreas Hernström 2 year warranty is where this might come into play. Not even sure they have been out for 2 years so you should be good on that. If you are using a different headset than the Sennheiser Game Zero....well then you should know better than to ask this question here (not calling you stupid, but there are some stupid people out there, and if you are one of them, then you are fucking stupid.... -sugarcoat).

  • Sennheiser is undoubtedly makes best headphones . but few things i kinda dislike 1] non removable mic 2] no in line mic 3] no adapter 4] cant find more...

    @rohanm5768@rohanm57689 жыл бұрын
    • Rohan M Very little to criticize about this headset hardware :-)

      @SomeGadgetGuy@SomeGadgetGuy9 жыл бұрын
    • +Rohan M 1] non removable mic may be a like as removable mic there is a chance that the mic may fail as well. My fren owns one of the best headset. the headset was warranty due to failure of removable mic. It failed again. 2] inline mic may not be a good option as it is not at an optimal position to capture your voice. 3] new version comes with 2 cords which are removable... for the old ones, you can buy as accessory too... then again, they should put in the adapter for such high price headphones...
