He went from Guardians of the Galaxy to Jurassic World
Lol yup :) -D.
To youtube
And The LEGO Movie, too.
Lmaooo i was wondering who he reminded me of
For consoles.Go on the hyper x website and purchase their usb dongle and pair it with this, thank me later

That is a great sounding mic. One of the best i've heard so far.
Great mic but needs some kind of pop filter imo. Heard lots of *puffs* when he was talking
i got these headphones and they are shit, nothing like what this guy said it to be, the mic is horrible, my friends thought i was on my phone when i used it in discord, and i thought everyone was on their phone too because of how bad the audio is, it makes everything sound so muffled
idk i have them too and the audio, the mic, and overall quality is great.
If Chris Pratt says it’s good im gonna buy it Edit: thanks for the likes
Guardians of the Canucksy I should leave
IKR, like invite me to ur next set " demetri, or however you spell that
Wait so is he reviewing this in the soul stone?
fake yeezys 🤔🤔😱😱 starlord has a KZhead channel and well idk
Russian Chris Pratt... Starlord + Vodka
Sennheiser has the best headset mics in the business.
Sennheiser also has the best headphones in the business. Noctua has the best fans in the business as well.
Ken is all over this comment section making sure everybody knows Noctua is awesome... in a sennheiser headset review :D Is Noctua dropping you a buck every time you mention them or something?
In fairness, Noctua fans are awesome.
No way man, I just love premium products. ASUS makes the best motherboards, Fractal Design makes the best cases, Electro-Voice makes the best microphones (although Shure also makes the best microphones), Filco makes the best keyboards (as do Ducky and Das), Samsung makes the best SSDs, HGST makes the best hard drives, and ASUS makes the best monitors. Fuck me for liking premium products, right? Obviously I am shilling for like 10 different brands I listed, it's clearly impossible that I love premium long-lasting products that ooze quality.
I would hope so for twice the price.
Just got these. They are perfect for the price. The mic is incredible. A little compression and perfect amplification right out of the box, really gives your voice the full body you are looking for.
I'm so happy you finally made a review on this headset! I got mine 4 months ago and they sound good + are VERY comfortable! I can easily recommend it. :)
@@mad8472 It happens very rarely and only when I have very loud sound playing.
I have these and love them with a sound blaster external DAC. Great combo. Glad to see someone else sharing the love .
i got these when massdrop first announced them! they are amazing and still feel incredible with no issues. i did find at the beginning the fit was a little snug but it has formed perfectly to my head now and i can still wear them for hours on end
I appreciate the dedication to the intro haha!
FINALLY A review of the headset I've been using since late February this year! Love these things.
Jack L woah same
i love them ive had them for a while still working great and i love the volume wheel when i wear my other head sets when i want closed back i forget they dont have one.
How is the comfort over extended gaming sessions?
Sun if your not used to high clamp force headphones then these will feel a bit strange when you first put them on, but i’ve personally grown to love these headphones.
Spooky_Boi does these have high clamp force?
Thanks for the review, been looking for a new headset for a few weeks. This review basically made up my mind. Just ordered one
After my dad passed away I started using his Sennheiser PC-360 and after 4 years of my own use on top of his owning them for 3 before that, they are fantastic and I can wear them for hours and not even notice they're on my head. Great vid.
Thank you for doing this review. I have absolutely loved this headset and wished they got more recognition because they are so good and I wanted more people to be able to know about them.
Same, I got mine 4 months ago and I can't recommend it enough... they are perfect!
No joke, just went on Massdrop and bought a pair of PC37Xs because of this review. Keep up the awesome work, guys!!!
Devin Connors how are they?
Need your opinion
same here haha
how was it
I got them as well, and my mic quality isn't nearly as good as the demonstration.
Have had this headset since late last year and was always waiting for you guys to do a review of it!
finally a trusted reviewer and in the same time quality review on it, been considering this headset for a while now
I've been trying to revamp my desktop setup to look less "Gamer" while also keeping all the gaming specs we love. I was a bit stuck on the headset because My GAME ONE's looked a bit out of place with the red accents against my more muted grey and black Logitech peripherals and Dell monitor. Saw this video, love the look of the headset, and I immediately went to Massdrop to see when the next drop was. I got a pair for only $120 with 10 minutes to spare. Thanks HardwareCanucks you've made my desk setup look a lot more professional!
I just ordered mine now because of this review and I can’t wait till it arrives!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do :) still use it on a daily basis. -D.
BTW, would you recommend these over the game one or the other way round? I don't mind the price differrence.
@@ballsackjoe its a year late respond but ill say it anyway. Its a literal same headphone with a toned down color. I have game one and just bought pc37x about a week ago and gave the old one to my cousin. and if you plug it with external amp it would be even better than the more expensive razer open-back headphone
@@rollingthunder9769 You suggest this for xbox?
I have the sennheiser Game One but my mic doesn't sound as good, what should i do? What windows (realtek audio) settings did you for the recording? edit: Do I need software or maybe an external soundcard?
Great review - I need that exact desk and monitor in my life
Great headset, I picked it up during their first massdrop run a year ago. I love it! I have had some minor issues with volume but nothing to really complain about. Now that I've tried open back, I can't go back. The sound stage is great for gaming and the fact that I can still hear louder noises around me has changed me.
befoe how does it make it sound better?
If you mean the open back thing, it just creates a larger sound stage, if u heard the difference once you'll know what we mean, like it sound noticably smoother.
JBizz It makes gauging distance a lot easier and makes sound feel more immersive. If I'm not mistaken, this headset also has multiple, separate, directional drivers so it's surround as well. When playing games that support Dolby Atmos or 5.1 surround, you can really tell the difference with sounds further away although it is still nice even without surround capable games. Direction is easier to distinguish from sources that are further from you and much more precise than it would be with closed back in my experience. There are some downsides for open back though such as a lack of bass punch, background noise leakage, and the sound escaping to the room although none of these are bothersome. These are also relatively high quality headphones on their own. They're by far the best I own and I prefer listening to music or watching movies with them.
Thanks guys order one to try out or flip it
When you say minor issues with volume.. Do you mean the sound being quiet or something else?
I'm surprised people haven't been talking about these more. Been on Massdrop for a while. Perfect combo. No leather pads, Sennheiser quality and light.
Thank you so much for doing this. I was seriously considering buying the Game One, since I saw in one of your video that it was your daily-driver, and then I see this... You saved me ❤
Possibly one of my favorite tech channels ever! Very thorough and clearly delivered reviews!
but it is good with PS4?
Thanks to this review i ordered myself a pair! They came in about a week ago and I have to say they 100% live up to everything this man speaks of! But my only drawback with them is the clamping force, it's a little on the tight side for me. After about 1-2 hours I start to get a little fatigued and my ears/head aches a bit. I may just need to get used to it because the old air of headphones I had. had zero clamping force. But it's still something to note. I still love these headphones, they sound great, look great, feel great (for 1-2 hours).
That's a deal breaker. I can't deal with tight clamping force since my head is so big
I hate tight clamping force but I want to buy these and just get used to it. They're such a huge upgrade from what I have right now
I wasn't even 2 minutes into the video and I already joined the drop. Thanks for letting me know, Dimitri!
Just did the same 2 minutes ago!
As I tend to peruse Massdrop fairly frequently I've been curious about these for a while but I couldn't actually find any real reviews of them. Happy to hear such a stunning recommendation...guess I'll have to try them out.
does the headset sound good without the amplifier? I've heard that amplifiers are strongly recommended for sennheiser headsets.
Shadow it sounds alright but an amp/Dac makes a huge difference. I’m currently using mine with a Dragonfly
when there is a word "gaming". To run them you definitely don't need an amp, BUT an amp is always better than whatever is in your noisy computer.
Sennheiser PC37X vs Sennheiser GSP 500. Which has better sound quality?
Hey hardware team! Does this headset have the bs rattle issue the G4ME one suffered on high volumes when bass drops from games or movies?
Abraham no ones going to answer you
Get a Amp
Just ordered a pair, looking forward to it
I'd love to see a review of the new(ish) wireless Corsair HS70! Your reviews of build quality, mic testing, comfort, directional audio vs surround sound, and features are unmatched in others. The mic doesn't seem so good compared to others but having your side by side comparison to the Sennheiser one shown here would be great. Comfort vs HyperX Cloud Flight (or the same ones shown here)? Most importantly, are they an upgrade from the Corsair Void Pro? Thanks!
5:05 lol I saw that friendly fire
I recently got a pair of game one and it felt too tight on my head even when adjusting the length, are these the same?
They are the same, if you still have them what you can do is leave them wrapped around like a couch arm or livingroom chair arm or something overnight for a couple nights and they loosen right up, this also happens naturally over time but that quickens the process
All these cool new headsets coming out and I'm still using my Kingston hyperx clouds from 4 years ago
Omg the 18:9 aspect ratio is lovely thx for making the 18:9 ratio
I went from closed headphones to open headphones a couple years ago and now whenever I try on any closed headphones it just feels like theyre missing something
each to their own, im sure your logitechs are good for you but my headphones are good for me, honestly for gaming i prefer the boomy bass of my hyperx cloud headset but for music and any kind of content creation i prefer my open back headphones
Saku Vanninen what does open headphones mean?
headphones with an open back design, they usually have a grill of some sort on the rear
Closed headphones suck so much!!! I own the first gen Corsair void usb and I love the sound and the simulated surround and it’s great! But he new void pro is terrible!!! They changed the headset into a closed back design and the sound quality is atrocious! I’m now thinking about getting a sennheiser
hmm if thats the case, try putting on some sound dampening headphones like for example beats or bose. feels like ur ears enter a dam vacuum
Ackchyually, these are based on the PC373D. But they are all somewhat based on the 5 - - lineup.
how do you mess up the word Actually that bad
Done on purpose, it's supposed to imitate the stereotypical lisp of an arrogant nerd.
r/whoosh
I just received my PC37X today and it is by far the best headset I have ever used. I got them mainly because I loved the way the HD 599 sounded which I have used a lot before, and it has a mic that doesn't pick up my mechanical keyboard as much as my old one
I love my game one's and your review was the reason I got it. Thanks for steering me towards these bad boys
Question: comparison of Sennheiser PC37x vs GSP 300?
Nader Belal I’m thinking of the exact same question lol hopefully somebody knows which one is better
My heart dropped when I saw this title as I just recently bought a PC 373D. Seems I'm not missing out on anything though, just a lower price point. Thank goodness...
Would you still recommend PC 373D after year of using?
i have had the pc37x for like half a year and just now learned that it has a removable cable, thanks :)
This headset or hyperx cloud alpha? Awesome video! New sub!
Hair cut is litttt🔥😂❤️
And here's me still on my original PC360's.
aidanjt well here is me with a jedel headphones
i think it's a wrong link for Sennheiser PC-37X i got no thing to buy from ! and it's not on amazon as well
it is exclusive on massdrop
I'd love watching you stream man
"I had to replace it" "I just had to repair the volume wheel" okay
is it still worth it in 2020?
My mic is hard to activate (takes a certain volume level to be reached for the mic to pick up and record) on my PC 37X's. As a result of this my mic audio cuts in and out frequently when I am talking due to the proper noise level not being reached to activate the mic. Also I have noticed that the audio recorded on the mic will fluctuate between each right and left earphone when played back in a video I have recorded. I have an ASUS Z270F motherboard. I noticed when I uninstalled the sound drivers for my board I could see that the mic picked up the volume cleanly regardless the noise level. I could tell from looking at the volume meter in OBS. However when I reinstalled the realtech audio drivers and ASUS Supreme FX driver I instantly noticed the mic not picking up the volume cleanly. Has anyone experienced these issues, or know a fix to this?
Looks like Im going to get myself a new headset soon! Thanks for reviewing =) I've been a fan of Sennheiser ever since I bought my pair of HD 558's and I cannot live without open back anymore. That, combined with such an awesome mic and a very convenient audio wheel thingy with normal looks and a good price tag, how could you not buy those :D Also Sennheiser's velour pads are awesome, my ears are very sensitive and they are never itchy when I wear my headphones.
Pls review the beyerdynamc mmx300 sec gen. It's $100 cheaper on amazon and I want a good mic included
msk1995 Its a DT770 with a mic
I had the Sennheiser Game Zero and One. The MMX 300 beats both badly.
Which means that they'be got a pretty wide sound stage for closed headphones (still not as wide as open ones like Ath Ad500x and others) and awesome for music. Also hella comfy thanks to those huge velours pads.
@@35663455 300$ "cough cough"
Can you do Sennheiser pc37x vs gsp 500
I have had the GSP 500's for over a month now and the pc37x for a few days. The pc37x is the way to go. More comfortable, better sound stage and much better directional sound in comp fps. Sending back the GSP500s to Amazon tomorrow.
@@sweetswing1 is the footsteps good in fps games? On the pc37x
@@gman8599 Yes, much better than the gsp 500
Slick smooth cut bro
Have you got a copy of the Alienware Wireless Gaming Headset AW988 yet I would love to see how it compares to other wireless headsets? Great video as always - keep up the good work!
How did you configure your PC37x microphone? Mine has a weird hissing noise in the background
Mic up or mic down?
No Dam Good award?
Charlie4Realzie One doesn't need a dam good award if Dmitri uses it.

Hi friend, I bought this headset of the back of your review, so first of all thanks for the content! Aside from having a terrible time with Massdrop (hidden exporting costs to Europe), I find the headset to be quite quiet... do you use them with an amp? So far not convinced they are great, but have only used them for a few weeks. Again, thanks for your vids
Out of the Hyper X Stingers, Corsair HS50s and Logitech G430s which is the best if im just looking for the best mic and comfort at that price?
Will they work in consoles?
Yes
what are the differences between this and game one?
Cheaper
had my pair for a few weeks now, they are the best pair of headphones period.
Hi Great content ! I live in Canada. After your review, i was about to order the PC37X but i looked at Bestbuy. There's a sale for the game one at 180$ and the PC37X are 185$ through amazon. Since you said they are pretty similar, should i get the Game one at best buy since I'll have them now or should i get the PC37X ? In other words, did they improve the Game One with the PC37X ? Thanks in advance!
Every headset is by far the best "comfortable" according to you... Lol
Every head set is the best headset according to him. They guy recommends every headset he touches to everyone.
Just bought a pair, I love the open back because I can wear both over my ears and still hear my kids
how is that a positive?
Wakegn so I can make sure my kids are not dying while I play video games I don’t understand the question .
Lmao
Great review as usual!! I have a set of momentum 2.0 and that was my first sennheiser product and I fell in love with them, now I wanna buy a set for ps4 (mainly playing COD with friends)... and I've seen too many sennheiser models but most of them require a preamp for top performance, is it the same thing for this pair? Or what would you suggest? Thank you
Quick question, would you guys choose this pair or the HyperX Cloud Flight? I am looking for a new headset to replace my bass lacking Arctis 5. Any suggestions?
I don't recommend buying from Drop if you're outside US - you'll be paying 25% extra in import fees that Drop doesn't disclose on purchase
dude i love this mic but it picks my breathing so easily , i swear im not breathing heavy lol
I have a pair myself, this is true, it picks up breathing very easily
Fantastic headset! So much so I bought two pairs, really. Great sound stage paired with Sound Blaster Z or a nice Schiit stack. I'm not using it as often these days due to purchasing the Sennheiser HD 6XX paired with a Blue Snowball ICE (cheap but good enough for me).
Hey, i am just thinking about buying a new Headset. would you reccomand the arctis pro + gamedac or just the sennheiser PC37x/one, maybe zero? If Sennheiser, can u also reccomand an external soundcard? I know the vid is old, but i rly hope u´ll read the post and answer :-) Would be very important for me, cos i already testet lots of headsets, also the astro products, but none of them is rly nice imho -.-
You looked better in longer hair :/
facts
I think the haircut looked good
Haha give it a week :) the curls will be back! -D.
who cares hair is annoying dont make the man self conscious lol
Nah. Much better with short hair.
So it's got sibilant dagger like highs and nothing under 100hz? Like nearly every sennheiser product ever?
This!
Not as bad as Audio-Technica though! They sound like tin cans rather than headphones. But funny thing is if you wear them long enough you will actually get used to it and every other headphone will then sound like a bass cannon afterwards! LOL@PPL
Yeah it's sad when headphones have flat frequency response through out and they sound like the music should sound. Especially producers and sound designers hate this kind of things. If they don't have Michael Bay explosion level bass boost they are shit.
i have a Sennheiser PC 363 D LOVE IT for about 2 years now. great headset!!
They seems to me like PC 363 D he is showing I have them aswell.
Just got these in the mail yesterday. Can not wait to try them. Out of curiosity, how do these compare, sound wise, to the HD 598s? It was between these two, but since the PC 37x comes with a dedicated mic, I chose that one.
Sennheiser in greece: cant affort it, unless i start to sell weed
Autronic great idea
still worth it in 2021?
Yes
Got this a few weeks ago, absolutely amazing.
Spencer do you still like it?
It's been a while since we've seen an overview on gaming monitors, any chance on a video soon? All the other videos are from people I haven't ever really heard of.
0:05 basically a tik tok pro at this point
Seconding this recommendation, Sennheiser has the best headphones in the business. Noctua has the best fans in the business as well.
They both make cream and brown colored stuff. HD 598 HD 599 and fans.
Ultimate_Input yea and they’re hideous
I love the colors of the HD 599. Maybe it's a little different. They call it Ivory and brown.
You can get both black Sennheiser headphones and black Noctua fans.
Ken I know, that's why I listed the only two that had the classic Noctua colors.
If it's between this or the Game One, which would you suggest? Or any other brand? I am ultimately looking for the best MIC quality, that I can use on pc/discord, and on ps4.
A quality review. Thank you!
Between these and the HyperX Cloud Alpha Pro ?
kalewak Tough 1 Tbh, but u can't go wrong with this 1, still looking to upgrade from my corsair void wireless
but keep in mind the pc37x are open back
These sound a lot better. Treble is more controlled, sure bass doesn’t extend as deep but they’re very clean. Basically an HD598 with a mic. But go with a closed back (like the cloud alpha) if you need sound isolation.
no
Cloud Alpha for closed back, and a tanky headset. Sennheiser for an overall better experience and open back.
Cool 18:9 content
Hey , first things first: thanx 4 your realy good made HS Reviews. Realy enjoy all of them! My question: i need to choose between the pc37x & the game one. The 37x is quite hard to get here in europe in the moment, so, ive got 2 wait for the next "eu-drop"..... Is their "soundwise" any big difference between the 37x /game one (especially in the base department)? Heard about, that the pc37x got a little more bass ( which i would prefer). Or, is it qiet the same sound on both? Greetings from germany
Awesome video. Could you do a video on the best way to set the equaliser settings, or an education video about equalisers. Thanks.
DHL duty ruins mass drop for me. Hope they open a branch or a way to ship cheaper for Canadians. If not, oh well i guess. These look like a great product though, love sennheiser gear.
Killajolt My duties on my HD 6xx’s was only $20 that’s worth it over paying 400+ for a pair of 650’s. But idk that’s just my opinion.
just eropean problems. add 40-60$ in shipping and 20% of the product price on top of all. Yeah.
20 bucks for the HD 6xx? thats really good but i been hit with a 27 dollar bill at my door for a $50 usd item before, hit and miss i find with customs. That is some brutal import laws for Europe.
For my planned build I bought from performance pcs (hw labs radiators), singularity computers (reservoirs and stuff) fittings from aliexpress. Both the rads and reservori cost me 60€ and 80€ on shipping (on 100$ rads and 350$ SC parts). Here in germany I had to pay 20€ for rads in customs, and 45€ for the SC parts. We get fucked royaly here with 19% tax on goods... The only one that did pass all customs was aliexpress, was soooo happy when they arrived without much fuss, and super cheap shipping (cheapest of them all)
I mean I do like the quality of this headset and it doesn’t have to be flashy or anything but I would prefers it not to look like the 90s headphones from school
? You're going to wear this in public?
Ekizo no but still dude it’s like putting a 1000hp motor in a fucking Prius like it looks like shit but it performs hella good now worth my money in my opinion
Xanax Stacker what that’s totally not what I said I said that something that runs good but looks like shit isn’t worth the money. Like who wants to buy a Ferrari or Bugatti that has 4 cylinder engine right. Like this headset performs good but looks like shit I’m not arguing with you guys anymore because it’s my opinion lol
Its a sleeper headset. Doesnt look that good until you see its true power.
just paint it... add some stickers. customize. its literally a blank slate
QUESTION! why can I only buy the MASSDROP X SENNHEISER PC37X in the official sennheiser store ? and not any of my local ones? (I live in Europe)
Thank for the information! I might buy this headset
PC37X+GSX1000
You guys also habe the mic on the gsx because some People say it sounds a bit muffled. Or using on board or an usb soundcard for that
I have the Game Zeros with the GSX1000. After about 6 months, I am still in love.
GSX 1000 isn't all that great. I have one and compared to a Creative AE-5 its nothing. I don't even have it plugged into the computer anymore.
So the hype behind the Sound Blaster AE-5 is legit?
Did you disable your on-board sound and configure everything? A lot of people don't realize this needs to happen.
Massdrop = Bassdrop? All headphones I tested from Massdrop, are heavy bass version of regular model. :P
Zephyrus88PL HD6XX's aren't and at least on the K7XX's do mention about the bass
Tomesto I really dislike HD6XX and K7XX. For me, they sound like a really bad amplified original version.
Zephyrus88PL HD6XX's are the HD650 and they do sound the same as the originals
Glad you like it too. The almost identical 373D has been my daily driver going on two years now. It's one of the few gaming headsets that doesn't start to hurt after an entire day of wear.
Mine hurts after hours on end but I also had the same problem with the Siberia v2 which is supposed to be one of the most comfortable gaming headsets. Thinking of switching to in-ears.
Dmitri, how do these compare to Sennheiser GSP 300 in sound & mic quality? Have loved your suggestion and using the GSP 300 only downside has been low mic volume and others saying clear but low volume, trouble hearing me. Are these louder in the mic volume dept. for others to hear you louder?
The mic on the PC 37X is more sensitive, so that's a positive and the signature is more flat compared to the GSP 300. -D.
So I know this may be an unpopular opinion but I ended up buying these thinking the sound quality was just going to be out of this world compared to the Corsair void pro and I must say I was ultimately disappointed. These are non refundable as well. Im stuck with a headset that has a enormous 10 foot cable with good sound quality but not much better to a wireless gaming headset such as the Corsair Void Pro. Ultimately I will be replacing these with HS70 most likely. Anyways, just wanted to point out that if you like wireless headsets, don't think that getting something like this is going to be that much better just because its Sennheiser or wired.
Thanks for the heads up m8! I prefer wireless any day.
sennheiser headphones dont have a wow factor when it comes to sound, they generally go for a more neutral/balanced tone.
i am glad, that i read your comment. I bought the corsair void pro rgb wireless and i am not that impressed from the headset. The mic is terrible and the sound seems ok, but when i listened to a HS70 review on this channel i noticed that, when 7.1 is on, it overrides so much. *crispy sound like a broken headphone* I noticed this on a game too, so i will probably return the corsairs. I dont know an alternative. Doesn´t has to be a wireless headset. But good sound and mic. Senheiser GSP600 dreamheadset, but too expensive with 240€.
Did you use a DAC to drive them?
Just buy some AD700X (100.00 USD) and attach a Modmic 5 or 4 (70.00 USD for v5 and 55.00 USD for v4) to it and boom you got one of the best gaming headsets there is! It's wayyyy better than the PC-37X and the ATH-ADG1X (300.00 USD Gaming headset)
have you even tried the pc 37x or even the ad700x?
My man, Dmitriy, Please tell me is Audio-technica ath-adg1x worth it?? You have an old review of similar ones but that is the point! I’m looking for exactly this one and hoping to get your help!! Always liked the things you recommended and now i couldn’t find a review for them so that why i’m asking. Please tell me are those good or i can find better gaming headsets for this money? ~320$
I picked these up about a year ago. They are great. Definitely not for bass enthusiast, but I've never liked a lot of bass in headphones (save that for speakers and stereo systems). My headphones I need a lot of treble for talking (zoom calls have been a necessity this past year) and these headphones definitely have more high end range than similarly priced alternatives. I don't think they're on Massdrop anymore, but if you have the chance to pickup a pair, definitely do so. My only complaint is that they don't have 7.1 surround like so many other headphones do in their price range, but honestly that's such a minor complain given that they have angled drivers and most games already do their own sound processing. This really is only a problem on older games or indie titles that didn't have the resources to create a robust sound stage.
