You know what surprised me the most about this ending, other than the whole ending, since I didn’t do the side quests, was guns being a thing. I’ve never seen anywhere in this game before this point.

With all the side-content Dandelion being Elder and evil was clear enough, and I did figure that the mystery woman probably was Savory... But without that scene on the Bloody Mantis ship, that really comes right out of nowhere unless you figure there has to be an option for an evil girlfriend since you can go full Bloody Mantis or whatever. Also, her getting shot was kinda... strange. She felt like such a support character like the rest of the band besides Connie that the end scene felt a weird sort of bleak instead of the dramatic type, like if Basil got shot. Probably with more develepmont time and therefore a better fleshed out story that could've been made to feel less rushed. Oh, if only...

Wasn't following the plot too closely so seeing two such people that were tied heavily to the Garland Globetrotters turning out to be evil was a smack to the face in terms of twists. Things turn out pretty sadly for everyone! Maybe the land will heal as Vanilla returns to his duties abroad... I'll be honest, I was suspecting Fennel and Basil of being the betrayers at first, since the first enemy trotmobile you see before you even ride one looked blue and you first see Basil eavesdropping on the Killer Elephants. But once things were coming around to the endgame, seeing the way Elder stayed silent on the bridge, it was even on top of that we knew the Fighters in the Arenas were using aliases and saw the double life of the one woman who was taught by Elder himself, something was definitely up. Though... I never thought THAT would be who the mysterious woman was we heard in Evil Vanilla's route. That makes this all extra sad.

Yeah this ending probably needed more build up and not come in so abrupt, but I still feel that conceptually it's pretty solid. My only complaint is Beaumont wiping out a gun when he was surrounded by police. In any case, I'm very interested to see how the epilogue plays out.

I'm sad that the main game is over, I'm glad there are more parts but boy you were too right about that ending just popping up out of nowhere. I guess production of the game towards the end was rushed as hell. Clement, if you do read this comment I want you to know I loved this LP - it was so amazing and fun! Its a crime that it doesn't have a ton more views - thank you so much for showing us this game. I'm looking forward to the extra parts.

So Dr. Nutmeg only gets the inspiration from the kid with the paper dragonfly but that only happens if you get the dragonfly from the other kid when you give him some Cheese. The fate of the entire Goddamn country was dependent over a Block of Fucking Cheese!...Just wow. And the whole Twist about Savory and Dandelion really comes out of nowhere, even if you do all of the side quest and/or side with the Bloody Mantis, I swear I didn't see anything to make the connection, and remind me, Wasn't it a Blue Trotmobile we saw shooting the boulder down in Part 1? I feel like the game wanted to try and trick us into thinking Fennel was the one trying to kill us but I swear that was never brought up in the game itself. This game really does rush itself at the tail end. Anyway, This was the final regular let's play video, time for the last batch of extra videos

Finally caught up with the LP! I regret not doing that earlier, but I was busy, unfortunately. I'll miss this kind of content from you Clement, but as someone who's seen your Clement Remembers Final Fantasy series, I'm sure your scripted videos will be just as great, if not even better. This isn't the end - It's a new beginning, a revolution, if you will. Looking forward to what's next! I've been watching your videos since the Classic Mega Man days, originally as a way to learn english pronounciation, since I was already familiar with the written part of the language, but I ended up finding a legitimately *Great* and entertaining LP channel. wanted to wait until I finished the let's play to say this. 1. thank you for starting these let's plays I got so see a lot games I didn't know about growing up. this one included. 2. I'm sad that this is the last let's play. I missed out on this one, didn't even know about it until I saw the leaving let's play video. I'm sorry this game that meant so much to you wasn't as well received as you hoped, but i'm glad that you went out on your favorite game.I can see why you loved it so much. 3.I look forward to seeing what else you do with this channel. let's play or not i really enjoy listening to your opinions on these games (and that awesome eggman impression). 4.weird tangent but I actually find it rather weird that everyone seems to relate this game to the misadventures of Tron Bonne. The tone and gameplay I think are drastically different, could just be me though. Personally I think it lines up a bit more with Tail Concerto.

Sheesh, the ending really does just throw everything out there. Dandelion being a villain to avenge Chicory wasn't much of a shock, but Savory was definitely out of left field. I only suspected it in the scene after the Grand Finale crashes, since Marjoram and Basil show up, while Savory is nowhere to be found until the reveal. Savory getting shot and killed by Bergamot is pretty random, though, especially since the guy showed up in police custody and really shouldn't have had his gun on him, plus this game taught me that violence doesn't exist outside of Trotmobile battles.

Wow so Dandalion and Savory were the final bosses the whole time!? That sounds......very random. I mean I get that it was supposed to be shocking but I think we needed some small clues throughout the story so it could be more of a shock. But overall, this was a fun LP of the game and Clement, I have followed you since your old Sonic and Megaman LPs. From your Sonic 2 LP to your burning hatred of X6 to even your video of you trying to find Megaman x8. Your commentary was always a lot of fun to hear and your catchphrase is the best way to describe you. I hope whatever you do in the future will be as successful as your LPs are, so while you do have the extra videos, it has been a lot of fun Clement and thanks for the memories!

I don't know... It's weird, but I'm not surprised by Savory being the bad guy, even though there's nothing to really foreshadow it. Dandelion? I mean, he's a recluse, so throwing suspicion off of him was basically the game telling you "something is up with him, keep an eye out on where he might show up". The motivation is believable, but at the same time... seems a bit extreme. Though few accuse evil bosses for being logical in their motives. LOLZ!!!

I'm not too surprised that Savory is part of the BM, and that's really just due to process of elimination after seeing the BM path cutscene, because there really is no other woman character that it could be unless it would be a new character we haven't met yet. And Dandelion being their leader is a twist on the level of Big Hero 6's twist villain, in that, oh right, this character exists. Although, did Elder get any voiced lines? Cause if we can hear the Yuri in him, it might give it a bit away.

Lol, what a twist, talk about going mad... Still, the townspeople deserve some sort of punishment for not going against the rich kid when there was a reason but not something so severe. Not quiet what I would call the "best" ending, bittersweet maybe but not best but eh. Also, no forgiveness from me for Dandellion, one accident doesn't give him the right to make everyone miserable at highest those directly involved.

And the whole Twist about Savory and Dandelion really comes out of nowhere, even if you do all of the side quest and/or side with the Bloody Mantis, I swear I didn't see anything to make the connection, and remind me, Wasn't it a Blue Trotmobile we saw shooting the boulder down in Part 1? I feel like the game wanted to try and trick us into thinking Fennel was the one trying to kill us but I swear that was never brought up in the game itself. This game really does rush itself at the tail end. Anyway, This was the final regular let's play video, time for the last batch of extra videos

Got a couple of parts to catch up on but while I’m sad to see the end of your Let’s Plays I’m glad it’s ended on such a high. During the part where you fly to the Grand Finale, I half expected the Light Plane music from Pilotwings to start playing at any moment.
The plot twist really got to me hard lol I didn't expect any plot twist honestly & the ending was kinda depression
wanted to wait until I finished the let's play to say this. 1. thank you for starting these let's plays I got so see a lot games I didn't know about growing up. this one included. 2. I'm sad that this is the last let's play. I missed out on this one, didn't even know about it until I saw the leaving let's play video. I'm sorry this game that meant so much to you wasn't as well received as you hoped, but i'm glad that you went out on your favorite game.I can see why you loved it so much. 3.I look forward to seeing what else you do with this channel. let's play or not i really enjoy listening to your opinions on these games (and that awesome eggman impression). 4.weird tangent but I actually find it rather weird that everyone seems to relate this game to the misadventures of Tron Bonne. The tone and gameplay I think are drastically different, could just be me though. Personally I think it lines up a bit more with Tail Concerto.
For being surprise villains, the scene of him holding her at the beach at sunset with no music and just the noise of the beach is very poignant
Dude, those freaking twists blew me away, yet it makes so much sense if I'd just stopped to put the pieces I had together. I really like the twists and turns in the end

Sheesh, the ending really does just throw everything out there. Dandelion being a villain to avenge Chicory wasn't much of a shock, but Savory was definitely out of left field. I only suspected it in the scene after the Grand Finale crashes, since Marjoram and Basil show up, while Savory is nowhere to be found until the reveal. Savory getting shot and killed by Bergamot is pretty random, though, especially since the guy showed up in police custody and really shouldn't have had his gun on him, plus this game taught me that violence doesn't exist outside of Trotmobile battles.
The cross country fight is really cool, really ambitious

Wow so Dandalion and Savory were the final bosses the whole time!? That sounds......very random. I mean I get that it was supposed to be shocking but I think we needed some small clues throughout the story so it could be more of a shock. But overall, this was a fun LP of the game and Clement, I have followed you since your old Sonic and Megaman LPs. From your Sonic 2 LP to your burning hatred of X6 to even your video of you trying to find Megaman x8. Your commentary was always a lot of fun to hear and your catchphrase is the best way to describe you. I hope whatever you do in the future will be as successful as your LPs are, so while you do have the extra videos, it has been a lot of fun Clement and thanks for the memories!

I don't know... It's weird, but I'm not surprised by Savory being the bad guy, even though there's nothing to really foreshadow it. Dandelion? I mean, he's a recluse, so throwing suspicion off of him was basically the game telling you "something is up with him, keep an eye out on where he might show up". The motivation is believable, but at the same time... seems a bit extreme. Though few accuse evil bosses for being logical in their motives. LOLZ!!!
I'm not too surprised that Savory is part of the BM, and that's really just due to process of elimination after seeing the BM path cutscene, because there really is no other woman character that it could be unless it would be a new character we haven't met yet. And Dandelion being their leader is a twist on the level of Big Hero 6's twist villain, in that, oh right, this character exists. Although, did Elder get any voiced lines? Cause if we can hear the Yuri in him, it might give it a bit away.

Lol, what a twist, talk about going mad... Still, the townspeople deserve some sort of punishment for not going against the rich kid when there was a reason but not something so severe. Not quiet what I would call the "best" ending, bittersweet maybe but not best but eh.
