  • End of an era. I remember being ill and off school for a while and getting bored and somehow looking up knuckles chaotix because it was one of the few sonic games I’d never been able to play. That’s when I stumbled on your let’s play. It was the first KZhead let’s play I’d ever watched and was really funny and insightful. So then I watched the other sonic let’s plays. Then the 06 one hit me to watch Brainscratch, and from there it snowballed. It must be nearly 10 years I’ve been watching now and I’ve always kept watching your stuff. The sonic stuff was always great but it’s the games like this where you take a lesser known game that few others would cover and just go over so well that were the really great stuff. Rumble Roses was a big highlight as well, just so fun. The final fantasy series has been really well made and interestingly as well, so I’ll stick around for stuff like that and whatever else it is you decide to do with the channel. It is very sad to se this Let’s play and all of them come to an end, but this was a brilliant swan song. I’m really glad I kept up with the series because it’s such an interesting, unique and flawed game that you obviously love and know so well and it’s made for a brilliant series to end on. Thank you for all the entertainment over the years, I hope you look back over them fondly and find the stuff you go on to make rewarding

  • Even if this Let's Play didn't quite get the audience you wanted, I really respect your decision to end LPs on your own terms with a game so special to you. You completed your big projects of the Sonic and Mega Man retrospectives and found your favorite way to end general LPs, so now with all your loose ends tied you can fully move on to greener pastures. I've been watching your stuff for years, and if the Final Fantasy retrospective and C Squared are of any indication, I'll have a lot to look forward to as well.

  • Honestly, the title kinda hurts. This really is The Final Part. The end of an Era. Thanks for the journey Clement. I've been following you longer than any other youtuber for 11 years. I look forward to the future and seeing you talk about more games in the Final Fantasy format, and finding out about more lesser known games, C-Squared and the works. End of one thing, the start of something new. Thanks.

  • This is it. The end that I feared. I'll remember growing up with you. It's impossible to say everything, but you and the people at SGB and BSC have helped me so much throughout my life without even lifting a finger. Your voices were amazing and inspiring. Thank you for everything. All of the memories, laughs, and more. I'll be looking forward to future stuff and hope it goes just as well as your lets play endeavors.

  • So, this is the end. I can certainly see why you adore this game. It's certainly special, even with all its warts. In any case, thanks for the years of entertainment and all the games you introduced to me. I can confidently say that you've brought a lot of joy to me. However, this isn't a goodbye. I'm sticking by to see your future endeavours! Godspeed, Clement.

    • It kinda makes me sad, because like this game, there must be so many Underrated gems out there, many kinds of games like this which we have never heard of it before. And Steambot is definitively one of those on my list where i want to keep track on. Such a shame that it never got a sequel, now i want to see this series get a revival.......

  • The Skull reminds me of Dr. Wiley. Combine that with the Eggman Logo and you sir, are the best of both worlds in this game!! You represent two good villains!! This has been one heck of a run, but all finish lines will be crossed, even if you're not ready for it. Best of luck moving forward Clement, and remember... You'll always be "The GREAT Clement" to us!!!

  • This is the end of an long era. Thanks to you Clement, you introduced me and invested me to a new franchise on the PlayStation and it sucks that a sequel did not happen at all. I think this LP is a fitting end to your long career as an Let’s player. I may not have commented on every video but man I love seeing this game and understood why is such an amazing game. You played the games you love and the ending the games you had passion for. I look forward to seeing what you will do next in the future. Until next time Clement. See you in the next project your working on.

  • Clement sir, it's been a fun ride. I've been watching your content since your Sonic 3 & Knuckles LP, back when I was 15/16. Your LPs have been a cavalcade of Entertainment for me. Your Sonic 06 review is the crown jewel of your Sonic retrospective, and you got me curious to try out Classic Mega Man and Mega Man X. But man, this is truly the end of an era. Thanks again for the amazing LPs man, I look forward to your future vids

  • Watching this is so bittersweet. I think I discovered your LP's around 2010 or 2011, with the Megaman and Bass LP, and since then I've watched almost all of your LP's over the years. I discovered BSC and somecallmejohnny through your channel, as well as a bunch of other channels along the way. I'm glad I got to experience all of these wonderful games along with you over these many years, Clement, and I wish you nothing but the best in the future, whatever you have planned. Here's to another 13 years!

  • It is nice to have these relationships and dates and even getting to do the deed (also that you can’t always do the deed) but it is a shame that that doesn’t impact the story. A remake of this could be a really incredible game. It is such a loss that the series died. I think sadly that this great series had the drop off that it did does indicate that there’s not the appetite for it sadly

I found you because I couldn't play MegaMan X4, so I searched a Let's Play. Back then, you were still playing 2D Sonic games and probably hadn't done X7. I stuck to your channel since then, and it's been a ride. I love the effort you put into your LPs and how you choose obscure games, you're one of the best out there, even if few remain. • Dude, Your walkthroughs were so relaxing yet very informative. I liked how you played games like the x files, and Mr mosquito and other very obscure games like steamboat chronicles. In fact, This playthrough got me to play this game, about the 10th episode in and I think you showed me one of my favorite games of all time. Though I totally understand why this is the end. KZhead is a very unforgiving place with its strict recommended system, and the lack of control over claims. But this was a good send-off, and I can't wait to see what you do next. Thanks for the great times so far, and here's to more to come!

Then watched your sonic playthroughs, your 'feud' with SomecallmeJohnny, your Super Meatboy drunken playthrough, your hatred-filled reviews of Final Fantasy XIII and Duke Nukem Forever; and so on. And more than "stave off my boredom for a little bit", you helped me. I mean it. Watching your videos as a kid helped me learn English, and now I'm a teacher in that same subject. It may not be a big thing for you, but it is for me. Again, I wholeheartedly thank you for all this effort, for all these videos and for all these years. Back then I was in a bad slump I was unemployed for a really long time and depressed, your LP's definitely helped, which is why I'll always love and cherish them. I even went back retroactively and watched every sonic LP from the beginning. Funny enough though I found your channel through your sonic 06 review, at the time only part 1 was uploaded and I loved it and wanted to see more scripted like content on your channel so as bitter sweet as it is to see the LP's stoping I'm also excited to see more of that style of content. Good luck with the channel transition I only wish for the best with it.

  • Sad to see it end after being a viewer since the Mega Man LP's. Thanks for lots of entertainment and fun throughout the years. Like many it was a welcome distraction during some lousy times. Anyways, enjoy yourself and I look forward to whatever content you give us in the future.

  • I'm gonna say two things if you decide to emulate this game, either play it in software render mode, or get accustomed to the keyboard shortcut to switch between software and hardware render modes as some parts don't emulate well in hardware mode, mainly weather effects and the garage, also the game soft locks on normal emulator settings at the first meeting with dandelion, the PCSX2 wiki page for this game has a workaround.

  • Thanks for all the Let's Plays you've done over the years. I definitely enjoyed watching your Mega Man videos and your gameplay skills did helped getting through difficult parts of those games. I also did like some of your Sonic videos, the Banjo Kazooie playthrough, the Mighty No 9 playthrough, the Mystical Ninja series (which I never played them so I might want to try them out one day) etc. Overall, wish you the best of luck in the future

  • It's been a long time coming, but I really have to say how grateful I am for you and your channel. Lots and lots of entertainment, some real great niche choices of games, and who can forget the epic Sonic and Rockman marathons? I'm personally a big fan of Irem's games and I'm glad you ended with one of Irem's best. I know your channel still be around in a different form, and I'll continue to stick around! I just regret not leaving comments much in recent years...

  • Honestly, this was one of your best Let's Plays yet.... Definitely made me go check out the game for myself! I'm extremely upset that we won't get to see any more Let's Plays from you but I understand that making these videos just takes up so much time! Love you and your personality and can't wait to see where things go next! See you later!

  • This was such an intriguing game to watch all the way through. I do hope to one day seek out this game, and hopefully find a copy at an affordable price at an independent game store somewhere. It is a shame that the sequel got cancelled, given the tsunami that destroyed Irem's offices. Unfortunately, last I heard of Irem, they stopped making games altogether and went the Konami route of focusing on pachinko and slot machines. However, the game developers from Irem did end up forming their own studio, Granzella, and they were able to get back the IP rights to Disaster Report and were able to revive and release Disaster Report 4, the game that was also cancelled due to the tsunami alongside Steambot Chronicles 2. Maybe one day, if Granzella manages to reacquire the IP rights to Bumpy Trot/Steambot Chronicles, maybe it could be possible for Steambot 2 to finally see the light of day. Maybe even an HD remaster of the first game to make it playable to a larger audience, depending on if any of the original developers managed to save a copy of the original game's source code.
