  • It's all about letting go. Breaking free from the constants one self imposes upon the mind and psyche. Letting go of love, fear, ego and as illustrated in this short clip letting go of monetary constraints. The matrix hasn't been forced upon you as much as you would think. It's that you let it all but consume your thought process which comes from our hive mind when we choose to opt in. Try to elevate your being so that you no longer need to be a facet of this elaborate stage play. Try to see through the smoke and mirrors for what it truly is. No longer submit as a pawn who is repeatedly sucked into the system and all of its workings. Sure, one can still play the game but it's optional and not at all difficult to digress towards a path of purity and contentment. A bit of humility and loss can actually be a really good thing. Once you master the art of letting go and learn to overcome without even trying, you are one step closer to true nirvana and spiritual enlightenment. It's not easy but every time you get just that little bit closer it feels satisfying even empowering in the spiritual sense.

    @bluejjay@bluejjay7 жыл бұрын
    • I don't think thats giving people the money to pay it back. They are just continuing to give them money knowing they cannot pay it back. So yeah they are giving it away for free. In this scene they discuss that the more you invest, the more you gain. But, as you gain, Sam Gold gains along with you. Only by giving it away and suffering the humiliation that everything that Jake has invested in has been a con, can he finally break free.

    • Most people are controlled by EGO, but ALL are controlled by other factors like biology (We need to eat, sleep shit and breathe). There is just one final trick. One thing they did not show in the movie at all: Once you think you conquered your Ego, is when you gave up. EGO cannot be defeated, not entirely. It can be controlled, but never completely. I think the movie made a mistake there. There is a clear reason for that: EGO affects everything in your life, but to different degrees. You might care a lot about your girlfriend for example and very little about what mobile phone you own, but you do care. If you conquer the part where your EGO doesn't want to let your girlfriend go when she leaves you, that EGO can transfer very quickly to the phone. Its a subtle change in how you value things and in most cases you wont notice it. To keep your Ego in check, you not only require to control your desires and fears but also where they go after you think you conquered them. And you cannot conquer all of them. Not at the same time at least.

      @lrmcatspaw1@lrmcatspaw16 жыл бұрын
    • dosduros dosduros The most interesting thing about conciousness (or call it soul) is that it can control absolutely anything what can be possibly controlled by it. And yes,the power of it can be so enormous that you can make yourself even starve to death,declining hunger as a desire.Of course that is not something what you have to do.But here comes the obvious question:Why? Isn’t that your ego what is telling you that you have to eat? I think that the only criteria and factor what has to come into the picture at this point is moral values or virtues. Your soul (conciousness) has to act throughout the filter of virtues to gain complete freedom. You might think now that virtues are possibly the products of an ego as well so the whole thing has no sense.Well,that argument is on point,but you have to take to a count one thing: If YOU set the rules of the game than it’s YOU who controls the game and not your EGO. But why virtues are the ones what have to be chosen as rules? I believe it’s not a coincidence that all of the known cultures shared the same basic virtues throughout the history of civilization. Because the virtues themselfs by fact are the antidotes of fears and desires.They are productive,temperanced,and they serve life in general. Also they are the hardest rules to follow and because of this they cause the most pain for “Mr.Sam Gold”. And the final argument for virtues is,that without that filter the whole concept of controlling the EGO is sensless. This is why stoicism sets virtues to follow even though it’s a philosophy but not a religion.

    • @@lrmcatspaw1 it can be replaced. And its replacement can be any internal expression. Hence the Joker. Hence The Batman. They replaced each others Ego. Therefore one doesn't strive to eliminate the other if one did it would mind up out of hand. Hence why Bruce never told Terry about the Joker "The Killing Joke" movie explains both have to exist because one is a greater void to replace the other (Terry beats The Joker by laughing at him because that made him furious Batman Laughing and Joker becoming Emotionless) your focused on thr ego and leaving out the human condition. Combine em both.
