New version with subtitles.
The entity "Sam Gold" in this film, who no-one sees, but sees everything, is in fact Satan. "The greatest con that he ever pulled, was making you believe, that he is you."
I like how Macha's room has gold all through it, from sculptures to the framework of the furniture, gold is everywhere. I like to think it represents how Sam Gold's influence has crept into his mind like a weed and taken root.
And Sam Gold is satan, the devil, can go in further details aswell, Gold can take any form whoever or whatever it is, to the point where it tricks you into thinking that he is you.
This movie makes religion relevant to today, and people cannot accept it. God and the devil are real, they are just your conscious and sub conscious, playing head games with you.
This is my favorite movie of all time especially with ray liotta in it he is so handsome and very talented
From 3:33 the phrase - "Mr. Gold does not give second chances" Guy Ritchie's moment came out so beautifully and with such a philosophical meaning that I emphasize my admiration in the form of this comment.
4:15 is my favourite where Macha snaps.
“That’s a wreath...” 🗣That’s a fucking wreath 🎄🌝☃️
It's the ego it's plainly obvious.
Man, love this video series. I can't see videos 3 and 5 because they are blocke in my country!!! Could you please upload them again???? Tks a lot man, great stuff you've pulled form your hat!
This whole Movie is a massive trip
First time watching this scene, but the newspaper headlines stand out to me 😎
Now I'll know what people want to say me by saying "Good day" )))👍
Sam Gold is not the ego, this was the edited americanized version, the original version was about Sam Gold representing the devil
I think sam gold is green. İn one of verisions hee gave a signal to mr d and he killed himself at end of movie. İt is looking like they are all living in head of jack.
But in the same phases of the film it says that the devil does not exists
Some could take the pov saying the devil is the ego. If you want to take a more philosophical view of it.
Ya. Sam gold is the literal representation of Satan, Lily Walker and the other female characters are his co workers
@Jake. Lily Walker is most likely Lilith or something along those lines, but yes, you are correct.
The lamas were right, it's about the ego after all....
Duhhhh
totally different cut than in americano-ica... still waiting on the zombie apokolypse
why do the subs whys sam gold?
the interaction between D and the woman is strange, the way she speaks of Mr gold doesnt really hint at ihim being ":ego"
Hmmm, those con men fell short upon giving to the someone's riches they manage selfishly to those who truly need and appreciate it!
@Sam0M0L if u see the movie ull understand that sam gold doesnt actually exist,, he is the ego in every single one of us
Mozart in the background
Which piece?
Is this the extended director's cut?? Never seen some of these scenes
It is. Better version, however, the Sorter shootout scene is better in the American version.
@@Eurodollartrader I disagree. It's the version where Macha kills himself which is a terrible fate than the other version where he lives.
@motaz920 yes sam gold is his ego right?
👁️

@@ItzSJbro Yes. Question is how jake created his fiction. Did he really know these guys or he just created them for his story randomly.
Revolver should have a sequel to elaborate more details that are missing in the film but its a big nope seeing that everyone hates the movie cause its too complicated and pretentious for them. It's a fantastic movie that is very underrated.
Yes. Sam gold is Avi and zach. And Jake's ego is Avi and zach
@@ItzSJbro they're them too in a sense. Remember when avi was playing golf and he told Jake "this is gold's world, he controls it" macha, dorothy, paul, all have their egoic desires in "gold's world"..which is avi and zach's world ultimately.
@@mikej2133 That makes sense, I have a sense that Avi and Paul are the same person, same persona, Avi is a feared loanshark and he uses debts alot. Paul is a feared assistant to the mob boss and uses torture alot.
