  • Fun fact: Darren Korb produced all the music for the game before most of the levels were made. Supergiant built all of the levels around Darren's Soundtrack. It explains why the environments and the music fit so well together.

    • TBH I've always felt like this is the best workflow. Music is the hardest thing to pin-down and its the thing that affects humans the most with the least amount of setup (compare to dialog having to set up for minutes/hours). If I had the money to try and make a proper indie game this is probably how I'd try to go about it.

Incredible, and really adds a layer to the Narrator and how he knows what he knows throughout the game.

      @sorcloko@sorcloko10 жыл бұрын

    • because the songs weren't written to just help tell the story, they were written to make the story complete. they tell you a history of a world since broken. these songs hold more meaning then just to play in the background as you explore the world of this game, they play in the foreground reminding you that a story should make you feel, and damn if they dont make you feel. thats the feeling i get from this sound track, a sense of making you want to live this story over and over.
