I'm writing my entire thesis while listening to this
Yeah im preparing my exams too with this
@@mipizarrop same here lol haven't been sleeping for days and this is what's keeping me awake.
gonna an intense fuckin thesis
WTF SAME XD
@Shiloh Wayne you're right, no one gives a shit
hades: metal beats to relax/study to
I am literally studying logistics right now lol
chthonic metal beats to escape the underworld to
@@bigrat1075 escape the underworld/die to
lmao nice one dude :D I'd take "chill/relax to" as well :)
Agreed
9:01 pov: you put the controller down to take a drink thinking you won the fight on your first extreme measures 4 run against hades and hades decided to say "lol no"
I haven't beaten the game once yet but whatever you said, yes.
I wish it would be the last 10th fight with him, just before [SPOILER] just before mother returns. Eh, dreams...
I stand here to correct myself, I beat the game once. With the shield if you're curious.
The official national anthem of "Call an ambulance... but not for me!"
"I...can...still...FIGHT!"
You know it's a masterpiece when a soundtrack is encouraging people to try this game out.
I totally recommend it! Been playing it for a week and I've been at it like crazy trying to find out the truth of the prota zegreus. It's in the xbox gamepass for free if you have a xbox if not just play it on console it rocks
That's exactly what happened with me. I listened once, and then I found myself having sank 100 hours into the game.
Korb is great. Bastion's soundtrack was heavily praised, while Transistor was even more heavily themed on music.
The soundtrack is what made me buy the game. :)
no courage required to write a stupid comment sadly
"God of The Dead" and "The Unseen Ones" are the first 2 songs as they are completely metal. The others have been cut to include only their respective metal parts.
It sounds good i like it
Good job! :)
what do you mean, the exalted is at 44:24
Nice job in tell the credits of that soundtrack in the description
Other songs have metal parts as well though, like In the Blood
Hades: "Forget about the surface, boy! You are not missing much. Here we have warmth, and wealth. Stability! Up there? Nothing of the sort."
"You also have killer music!"
I read this comment in Hades’s voice while God of the Dead was playing and it felt like i was in the game lol
Unda da sea (of blood)
@@ellpoyohlokoh hope the sulphur can mask the scent
9:00 Dudes... When I beat phase two of Hades and he went, "I... Can... Still... FIGHT!" I was like Oh shit
First time I got to hades I used my death defiance but got his first bar down and he’s like *angy mode activate* I wasnt prepared
I appreciate your use of punctuation.
I just bought the game because I needed a single player game for me to play while I’m deployed and man just by playing the first 20 mins I already know I’m going to enjoy this game
Massive replay value!
The fact that this is still an hour-long is a testament to how good these songs are
Love your pfp, nothing but respect for bearded vultures
Almost an hour
As a lifetime gamer now reaching 40 i cant recommend this game enough. Its a 'true game. Even if you dont like these kinda of games you're missing out, trust me. If you've never listened to strangers now is the time, i assure you, i speak nothing but the truth. This game is a masterpiece.
boring gameplay where you just spam two buttons go get a life, boomer
too add to this its the first game in a long time I feel like was made solely to be played and played a lot. No micro-transactions, no silly skins, no gimmicks, just the game and all its glory you either like it or you don't.
@@Turned2Ice you can simplify literally any games combat to just "spamming buttons"
@@Unidentified_Entity6 not nearly any
@@Turned2Iceliterally all games come down to pushing buttons dumbass, what was the point you were trying to prove?
Hell yeah, this is exactly what I was looking for. Love the soundtrack as a whole, but picking out the heaviest stuff is perfect for jamming on the way to school and shit
Doom fans hearing an electric guitar: It's just like Rip and Tears!
Its like poetry, it rhymes
Just like the simulations
Out of tarturas is just literally e1m1 though
@@penguinwolf3330 no that’s that king and the bull. Out of Tartarus sounds fucking nothing like anything from doom
@@spriteguy4050 Is that a joke? have you listened to out of tarturus? king and the bull also sounds like doom mind you but out of tarturus basically feels like a remix of doom music
9:01 ᵒʰ ˢʰᶦᵗ
Your pfp fits your comment
"Daddy's very angry." "That's an understatement."
A couple months back I spent an entire night in candlelight (the lights were out) working on my research paper listening to this. Now I'm doing the same for my constitutional law final paper. Some things never change!
You've no idea how much I wanted this, thanks a bunch.
*For your fast-paced workplace needs - for the old geezers among us who end up here, lol. Seriously, this is one terribly productive OST and may one day even help us break even on the hours spent in game. :D
I misread this as "terribly produced OST" and was really confused
@@tailez606 damn, same
Hades, just like DOOM 2016 and eternal, is yet another classic case of "came for the sountrack, stayed for the game" for me
This is single handedly bringing my grades up
Damn, same
the king and the bull is literally just a cover of at dooms gate and its so good
exactly
That's what I thought the first time I heard it and my god is it epic as hell
No
It really isn't but it does feel like it's riffing on it.
I just finished 10 missing assignments at 4:24 AM, the day the semester ends while listening to this ONCE. Exactly what I needed. 👍
and you pass?
I still get goosebumps listening to The Unseen Ones. Beat phase 3 first try, on a 49 win streak, then listened to it in the lobby and realized I had hardly heard it during the fight because I was so focused (but it did blow my mind hearing it in the fight too). Actually made me tear up, listening to it, and then knowing that my journey with the game had come to its end. It was the last challenge I had to do to get the platinum. I've never felt more accomplished playing a video game and probably never will.
I got him on the first try as well using Gilgamesh the aspect of Malphon, which aspect did you use, in which weapon? Got to admit, Trippy Shot and Poseidon’s Aid were massive in that run as well! (Well..in general)
@@ChristosNikolisOfficial I think I used the bow with the homing secondary. Loved that one.
I legit finished half of my entire school year in a day with this playing
Yeah Supergiant definitely know what they are doing. I'm such a fan of their games. Darren is a beast.
Murder...???? MURDEEEER!
“She murdered me alright”
Do I hear some "Rip and Tear" riffs in the second half of "God of the Dead"? Awesome.
and in The King and the Bull
@@anshghosh3948 You can here e1m1 in that song its awesome
@@okthisisepic6273 yeah I noticed it. Epic af

Doom fans when they hear metal music
Hades 2 but its only Drum and Bass Witchy house jazz fusion
I believe you have The Painful Way and Out of Tartarus mixed up.
Yeah, those two are flipped
Fixed it, thank you I didn't notice
@@shiv_aka_yahia Hahaha, no problem.
painful way deserves more love
Sounds like literal gangsta paradise 10/10
I've been listening to Darren Korb OSTs to study for over a decade now. Don't see why I would stop now.
VERY IMPORTANT CONTENT all of my DnD battles needed this
I'd argue this is too fast paced for a D&D campaign. Players don't have time to think their moves well. Only track I'd use for a boss fight in D&D is "The Painful Way".
@@dudebro765 True, everything in moderation. I feel the need to clarify that I wouldn't play this in every encounter, but having access to this edit is very useful, when previously if I wanted some Hades in the playlist it would always be the slow-build album versions.
bought this and Doom Eternal yesterday. The Metal Gods truly can guide our way sometimes.
Can't believe it's been hidden for so long, I've been looking for it for ages. Thank you.
Wow love it. Thanks for compiling this.
Really hope somebody makes a compilation like this but with ONLY the meaty bass riff versions you hear after clearing a chamber
Thanks for uploading. Didnt know needed this

This is so incredibly badass thanks for making this
This is the video that got me into Hades and i gotta say, best thing my recommended ever showed me
Man super giant is such an awesome music company, they should expand to other sectors like gaming or something
Dude, haven't you heard? Buying the "Hades" album comes WITH A FREE GAME NOW! Go check it out!
Such a great game and the soundtrack is the best!
Great work shiv
Music for the third part of Hades fight is really sick as fuck, insane.
i'm drawing to this just picked some random jam. so happy i stumbled on this gem
The unseen ones is by far my fav track in any game
Came here looking for lyric-less workout tunes and goddamn I can't sit still. GG Supergiant Games! Also God of the Dead is a great lead-in to DOOM Rip & Tear btw :)
you know it's good when every time a new track starts you go :OOOOO oooh yisssss
The title of this video is exactly what I've searched. Well done.
Thanks
This soundtrack has cured my depression
🗿proud of you
I want these guys to write the music for a Prince of Persia remake
Holy shit that could actually be good
Isn't it only one person who made most of this?
When doom guy takes a level in bard.
he has guitars in his ship
Man, this is so, so good. Supergiant should license this version from you and add it as an alternative soundtrack to the game. Just. Fucking. Brilliant.
"You cannot buy happiness, but you can listen to Hade's OST that is the same thing" -Einstein, albert.
THANKS
THIS AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH OMFG I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD BE PAYING YOU
Yup, this is going to favourites
thanks man
Is literally everyone here just dead ass pulling an all nighter for the exam?! Hahaha 4am still going strong. Wish me luck!
for everyone looking for the best part, it's here: 0:00-52:20
Amazingly done!! I wish it was on spotify so I can listen in my car xD 🔥💯
I still revisit the Bastion and Transistor OST's to this day, they remain my favorite videogame soundtracks.
This still fucking rocks though. 🤟
Now we just need a supercut of this with the heaviest bits of D2016 and D Eternal
To add your main comment, you didn't forget "The Excalted". You have rather slipped in the timestemps. 44:24 is "The Exalted". "The King and the Bull" actually starts at 48:33. ^^
fixed ty
I love to find good games because i randomly listened to one of the OSTs
Yes .
Thanks! I put each song individually into a playlist before this
Oh thank you, this isn't monetized! But srs, thank you for your time and effort to make this, and then put it out there without payment walls or ads
In my head, this is the OST.
i love the unseen ones
havent't even played the game but what a fuckn soundtrack. Supergiant never fail to disappoint
Currently writing in my diary listening to this and I'm feeling the vibe ;u;
How ironic that I'm doing admin work - exactly what Hades does and Zagreus dreads - while listening to this.
Still at it fellow realm security specialists!
Aaaand still here :) Stay positive!
Love how many of the metal themes I heard and actually recognised in this game sounded like E1M1 because you're technically battling demons like Doom Guy
MAN i had heard this was great but whoa
Just listening to the first two songs and imagining an animated film of the fight.
Field of Souls is straight out of Brutal Legend.
I fking love this game
Something about fighting through the underworld lends itself to soundtracks that are absolute gas. DOOM, Hades, Boltgun...
chill rock beats to meet up with your dad:
12:11 this part is godly
Who needs other ones I cant comprehend xD
The first time I heard God of the Dead restart I dropped my controller and just.. Oh it's so good for that fight.
this playlist is fucking dope, I love the Hades OST but literally had to search for "hades OST without any vocals" because, while those songs are beautiful in their own right, they throw me out of my flow state when I'm working and enjoying the metal instrumentals. This is a perfect hour of work/study material right here.
If you liked this, the song "Zagreus" by Periphery was inspired by this game's OST. In fact, the album was delayed by a lot because they played it so much: kzhead.info/sun/nqigfsyxsV-waKs/bejne.html
the best drug is this music
This has no right to be this good
The opening riff of the unseen ones reminds me of at doom's gate
out of tarter sauce
POOOOOOOGGGGGGG
This to this soundtrack is like smoking a cig in front of someone trying to quit. I just have to pick up my switch and play another run, this is not helping my backlog at all SMH!
We fucking need it on spotify !!
This mix is absolutely sick if KZhead ever falls appart it'll be one I'll greatly miss
download it if you really want to ! or just buy the soundtrack to support the devs
Gnarly beats to attend to your responsibilities and judge the dead to.
