Qi Gong Breathing: 7 Minutes to calm body and mind

2017 ж. 13 Мам.
1 305 085 Рет қаралды

Instructions on Qi Gong Breathing combined with a few simple and effective movements to calm body and mind. This Qi Gong practice involves breathing, intention and movement. If you have problems with high blood pressure, this is the simplest and cheapest way to support your heart.
For the beginning stay focused on your breath throughout these 7 minutes.
Once your breathing is naturally synchronized with your movements, actively look for relaxation throughout each and every movement. If you think your body is relaxed already, go deeper and try relax each organ. If you think the organs are relaxed, settle your mind.
"Movement is the consequence of Qi. Qi follows intention. Intention is directed with the mind."
Every year there are several retreats that are taking place in the Shaolin Temple Europe 歐洲少林寺, the monastery where I am living.
A retreat can either be a 3-day Retreat (Friday - Sunday) or a 6-day Retreat (Monday - Saturday). Every retreat is held under a specific topic, such as: Gong Fu, Qi Gong (e.g. Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, 13 Luohan), Meditation retreats and Rou Quan retreats.
If you are interested in joining any of these retreats, please take a look at all dates that are published on the website of the monastery:

  • I just want to show my gratitude to this wonderful soul. While doing the routine with him I belonged to unity. Plants, people, animals... everything just one. I could feel the energy moving in me, I cannot explain well. This means so much to me. My dear mother passed away a couple of days ago and now is living in the Spiritual home... but to feel one to all brought me balance and inner peace. Thank you... And hope one day I can learn in person too. ❤️🌸✨

  • I can’t tell you how happy I am to see these ancient healing arts made accessible to everybody. as a kid I always I often wondered about what kind of training the Shaolin did behind there closed doors, how they kept fit and healthy and train to be calm balanced human beings. Now as an adult seeing these videos and been able to practice along side a Shaolin master is truly amazing to me, it re ignites my child like wonder and excitement .even though we seem to live in uncertain and stress filled times , I’m also very optimistic to see the healing arts like qigong, yoga ,Shaolin martial arts been revived on a global scale for everybody in these strange times. The Shaolin monks of the monasteries have kept these traditions alive in secret for thousands of years , they kept the traditions alive for when the time came when they are most needed, that time is now and the secrecy has been lifted so man kind can benefit from ancient wisdom 🙏🙏🙏

  • I just found out this program over the weekend(yesterday) after watching master Shi hengyi interview with the economy.bg, I am impressed. It came out from such a monk with such profound wisdom. His demonstrations (Yi -jin -Jing and 8 brocade) are clean, clear and enjoyable. I found the job as Mandarin interpreter in the US with diversifying field to challenge my mind over 10 years ago. I make it so far. Recently, I was looking for some physical activity to challenge myself because I spend over 10 hours sitting at work. Now, I found this shaolin "kun-fu." As 60 years old woman, this is totally different postures and steps for me. I hope this will be another good journey to me.
