A new game has just been announced. At first you get excited because it's a game for a franchise you know or it comes from a developer with a track record of success. More information about the game emerges, maybe even a trailer and at some point, the developers inevitably announce that the game will be live service. Suddenly, not only has all your hype gone out the window, but it lands on a spike. Despite the increasing number of live service games being released,, people don't seem to want to play them. I could make a whole video just naming live service games that were released, failed and shut down their servers or were pulled from online stores or both at the same time. The actually established live service games are seemingly impossible to compete with. However, there is one exception. A game that is a sequel to a game that almost no one played, developed by just 100 people and from a studio that hasn't released anything in nine years, has managed to outshine some of the biggest franchises in gaming. Today, we're going to delve into Helldivers 2 and explore the reasons why this title has become the unexpected hit of 2024.Let's check it out.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’ll be making a lot of videos this month.
File mou.. the starting intros of the game set the tone in an amazing way for the players, letting them know that this game was made purely to have fun… so i would say they are important as they sparked the personality of the game. Gods speed diver, let’s all deliver sweet liberty and democracy.
Fair point. The intro cutscene is a great tone-setter for the rest of the game!
You forgot that Arrowhead made Magicka games. Those were highly successful at the time
They were fairly successful before Helldivers 2. Taking 9 years to develop it was a huge risk but it fully paid off.
το game ειναι τελειο! ωραιο video!
