  • I know that the first game eventually added boss battle missions, so it's possible something like that is in HD2's future as well.

  • Okay, I was skepticsl at first but you brought up some good ideas! For the underground and ship missions I would prefer Stratagems to be disabled though and the fun would be to find support weapons and ammo in the Space Hulks or caves while we crawl and adventure in the dark. It would add to the "survival horror" vibe with scavanging for limited resources. The holes in the ceilings and regenerative rooftops don't really fit in my opinion. In HD1 we did have a defend the train type of mission as well as a last stand, one, so I hope we'll see those in the future aswell as a "king of the hill" style one. Lastly, the campaign missions accessible after a big event don't really fit with the theme of the game either, I prefer the game as a coop experience based on small campaigns or missions. Hope Arrowhead hears you out on some of these ideas. Have you tried to reach out to them?

    • I haven't reached out directly, I've found that viewers sharing videos like this with developers is the best way for those ideas to spread

  • Ship boarding actions, urban warfare with tight streets, (both of these would make the ballistic shield useful for once) add passives to helmets and capes, add more passive variety to armour types. These would be a solid start to really round out the game.

    • Add passives as a thing you can slot into your cape and helmet. Make the passives something you can customise, or the cosmetic something you can customise. Because I love the page 8 armour aesthetic, but hate the passive and stats. I love the medic passive but I hate how they're all Christmas colours.

  • i’ll agree with the first two modes you suggested but for the zombies mode, i believe the campaign should be based with the flow of the story of the community so we can inspire a mode out of the reviews we get in the game. A mode called Treason/Traitor. you are a soldier left due to your past traitor actions if you have ever hermes reviews that way. that’s the only way to unlock the mode, by being a little traitor 🤣🤣. i think that’s good.

    • but that would be a good idea, maybe a raid style gametype, where we can have more than 4 helldivers at once with a giant boss fight

  • Having fun suggesting I see. Don't see anything special here honestly. Also. CoD Zombies? Really? I don't see how that is interesting. They should do their own thing and hopefully come up with better stuff than just this. Some big map linear mission won't be different enough to be a 'new pillar'.

    • A very common rule and method I live by is "keep it simple stupid". Just because something is unique or different doesn't mean its fun. Sometimes, keeping things simple and having things that players already knows is fun, is better than spending thousands of hours in R&D to come up with something kinda unique. This is especially true for adding additional content to games
