A white neighbor, later identified as Army Sergeant Jonathan Pentland, confronted a Black neighbor walking on the sidewalk now framed by Goodwin's cell phone camera. He shoved the young man. He yelled the man was "walking in the wrong neighborhood." Another neighbor took out her cell phone and started filming.
He was in the wrong neighborhood, since he didn't live there and had been kicked out before. I guess you want him to keep messing with people's families until he gets shot. Then you can pretend to be upset over what you encouraged to happen.

And guess what now? When he leaves the army he going to file for ptsd to the VA for how traumatizing his experience was from this whole ordeal. He's going to get thousands of dollars a month for the rest of his life for jumping in an innocent man's face like he did.
This event isn’t related to his military service. They’ll laugh him out of the hall if he claims PTSD over some people were mean to him after he pushed around a cancer patient that was half his size. My father had nightmares about Vietnam and nobody gave him a dime but you think this guy is going to get money because he paid the price for being a dumbazz
@@liquidmark5081 trust me, I use to work with VA helping vets file claims and I've seen some of the most ridiculous events get service connected for PTSD. The only thing that's needed is for the event to happen in service. It could've been on or off base, but as long as the person was active duty, it doesn't matter. I've seen guys get money for having a broken ankle playing basketball. So all this loser has to say is that this event was traumatic to him being he felt threatened or traumatized by it.

A second incident report showed on April 10 a woman was walking when an African-American man approached her and picked up a baby who was with her. The woman said he tried to walk away with the baby but she grabbed the child back. She said this happened three times before she told the man it was not her baby and she "did not have the right to allow people to hold the child." She then went home and said she wanted to prosecute, but no charges have been filed, according to the incident report." The Washington Post confirmed Deandre was the accused in both of those incidents.

When has the Washington post been the court of law. Sexual assault and potential Kidnapping of an infant isn’t a Ok we don’t care about it matter. Look at these comments. People have presented evidence multiple times and it's ignored. It's not even worth arguing with them. It's a lost cause. There is so much racial anger/hatred. They are even willing to defend some creepy violent animal abusing weirdo rather than admit the Sgt was right.

@@babymaharaja7638 he wasn’t tho. According to testimony given in court, he was walking down the street that day and was stopped and confronted by Hernandez’s daughter-in-law and then Hernandez. He told them that he didn’t do anything wrong and that led to an exchange of WORDS in a confrontation that THOSE WOMEN INITIATED. Hernandez didn’t like his response, so she got Pentland and Pentland assaulted the victim 3 times. One of which was when the victim was WALKING AWAY while pointing a camera at Pentland. Pentland TESTIFIED IN COURT that he slapped the camera out of the victim’s hand while he was walking away, WHICH IS ASSAULT! Pentland also confessed to the police that he was out of control and way overreacted. Pentland committed assault. It was proven in court. Pentland confessed to committing assault. It’s not alleged. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, right? He was proven guilty in a court of law. Have a seat.

On April 12, 2021, he was caught on camera being confronted by Pentland and Pentland’s wife on a public sidewalk in the Lakes at Barony Place. The couple accused him of bothering a female neighbor, which he denied." he had a reputation in that neighborhood. Jonathan didn't just go up to him to fight just because or due to skin color. That kid had bad history in that neighborhood whether it was due to his mental illness we don't know. He has a criminal history and during the time he got into his thing with Jonathan, he had a pending arrest warrant for failure to attend his court hearing which was supposed to be happening the very morning of the altercation with Jonathan.

Straight up. The day of the assault, the victim was walking down the street and he wasn’t bothering *anyone* until he was confronted by Hernandez’s daughter-in-law and nothing that happened that day justified assaulting him. His “criminal history” consists of stuff related to trespassing or weed possession and isn’t related to him being assaulted. He wasn’t trespassing on anyone’s property the day he was assaulted. He wasn’t harassing or touching anyone the day he was assaulted. He was walking on a public sidewalk. You don’t get to jack people up in public days after an alleged event. The man clearly has odd behavior due to suffering BRAIN DAMAGE as a result of surviving CANCER. You’re literally trying to denigrate a cancer patient here. You say he had a bad reputation in that neighborhood but so far the only people that seem to have a problem with him there are the Hernandez;s (who didn’t report any of these incidents when they supposedly happened) and Pentland’s. Meanwhile, other residents of the community that know him came forward to defend him. You’re talking about a bunch of stuff other than whether or not Pentland was justified in assaulting the young man. He clearly was not. Also, about the race thing, I haven’t said a single thing about race here. *You’re the one with race on your mind.* All I said is that the women initiated the altercation that day (a fact), Pentland committed assault (a fact) and testimony that Pentland himself gave proves his guilt (a fact). Pentland’s CRIME is not alleged. He was found GUILTY in a court of law. That’s the end of it. The stuff that you allege concerning his victim hasn’t been proven in a court of law and even if true it doesn’t, in any way, make Pentland’s actions lawful or justified.

He is a disgrace for the uniforma and for all the values he swear to protect. A soldier must face an enemy soldier, a foreign foe not a US citizen. His rank should be degraded and he must be educated about what is his duty before citizens .
A female neighbor was asking for his help. He was doing his duty.
