A white woman in San Francisco is coming under fire on social media after a video of her calling the police on an 8-year-old black girl selling water outside her home went viral, prompting calls of racism. The girl was apparently selling water to raise money for a trip to Disneyland. The woman, who claimed the little girl did not have a permit, is now defending herself. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports.

  • On top of how despicable she is for calling the police on an 8 YEAR OLD selling water to help pay for a Disney trip, “Permit Patty” took away time and efforts from emergency services that could have gone to others in real emergencies like a car accident, fire, or domestic violence.     • Its not even called a Sellers permit. Its called Wholesale License or Reseller License. I had one when I was in middle school and high school. I honestly dont know why the girl doesnt have one any ways cause you can buy in bulk and actually make a profit margin. And its not even that hard to obtain. And thus far it hasn't happened. We are not talking about a possibly shady thing and unknown procedence, is simply a little girl that wanted to earn money for disneyland so put water (presumably treated, with the help of her mother that we can assume id smart enough to know to not sell poisoned water and gain a lawsuit) in bottles. If you're that mistristful of the world then your problem is something else. Also if there's really a person that would sue an 8 year old then they would be as low as the lady in the video. Also also I am 100% sure the lady that made the call was not thinking about anyone safety but her own.
