    • @Aurangzeb Ali How is it the women's fault that the tennis federation won't let them play best of 5 sets? They are clearly capable, Serena herself has said she'd be happy to play best of 5.

  • One of greatest games ever. Serena serving at 200 kph in third set and Kerber returning all. Tremendous accuracy of shot play by both players with unrelenting tension to the last point. Kerber 100% focus and incredible nerve plays two perfect drop shots in one game in middle of last set. Kerber often running like 60 m to get one point. Fitness levels of these women are incredible even after 3 hours no sign of slowing up. I think prefer women's tennis nowadays, not so serve dominated.

Naomi Osaka has arrived and has been, to me, been the 1st to really be able to fight serena's power with her own. But to your excellent point... being able to exist within volley returns vs Serena until she tires, is a whole victory within itself!!!

  • I'm back to watch for the 13 time yall. Sometimes I double benge on Serena. I swear I can give a one day analysis on Serena's games, development over the years, fitness, most dynamic hit placements on the court with no returns, her foot movement, when under pressure what errors brings out her attitude, what foot brings most errors, if her body twist at this certain angle she often hits the net, jewelery and wardrope, even what color makes her more aggressive on the court. Starting from 1998(as a teen) to 2020. No Cap! Btw I just finished watching her game live against Giorgi. Serena won both sets at almost 40 years old. Wow. See ppl doubt this girl now. Yes she may be slower but that's expected for her age but most doesnt see pass her talent due to the huge impact of excellence she has place on the Tennis world, Which is great. But to say she is no longer the best is overated. I would not bet my money Against her. She continues to surprise us and continues to deliver after more than 20 years in the game. This queen is still standing even after a baby, marriage with all types of injuries, and still wins. Remember..she is known as the Queen of comeback for a reason. ijs. This lady is unpredictable and I love it. If most female Tennis players still has to play her to win a Slam when rostered up, then she is still relevant and you are still in the Serena era..ijs! Dont just watch history, enjoy your history People, because I got some stories for my future grandkids, so do you!!! #LivingTheSerenaEra #AcknowledgeHistoryInAdvance #CreditTheGreatest. #theWilliamSisters #AFathersDreams

  • Both players are outstanding role models for tennis players. Serena is a fab athlete and plays powerful tennis and Angie is the Australian text book winner. She never made it previously - notwithstanding her talent. She was always very good but never delivered. She kept working very hard and is one of the oldest players to make it against all the odds. Serena knows who has talent and can play and these two players respect each other. For tennis lovers this really was a rare treat. Quite special. Australian values include rewarding hard work / the underdog. This is good for tennis. Serena also showed outstanding fair play and her great personality

Perfect example of offense vs defense. I think in this match, Serena learned the beauty of patience and consistent angles. When she used this style, she got herself out of trouble, without the serve. I just hated the commentators were so bias the entire match.

  • Great match well done Kerber both grand slam she beat the Queen no problem the Queen have 23 and will reaches the 24. If she didn't have her baby she have certainly surpassed the record already.

  • Williams got broken to lose. No first serve cost as well. She used to be more consistent on serve
