BRABUS - Mercedes Tuning from Germany | Full Documentary

2020 ж. 11 Сәу.
15 415 398 Рет қаралды

Our Brabus documentary accompanies the complex tuning process of a Mercedes G and Mercedes S class. In the Brabus main plant in Bottrop Germany, all Daimler vehicles have been spruced up according to customer requirements for more than 50 years. Around 450 employees tune current Mercedes models and breathe new life into iconic classic cars from the 1960s and 1970s. The business with individual cars is international - around 90 percent of the vehicles that are produced here are exported.

    • The Claim of "German Cars always having issues and failing after this and that much kilometers or miles" and being unreliable is a strange one that you mostly hear from Americans and Canadians online. Lets assume this is all true & not the Result of some rare bad Experiences that then were spread via Social Media by People with a Big Following in North America: I did some Research because i thought maybe their BMWs, Audis etc. are made in a Factory in Canada, USA or Mexico and they Manufacturers there make mistakes because in Germany f.e. you can't even work in a Manufacture of any Car Brand unless you had your "Ausbildung" for 2-3 Years. Something i know is not required in the USA at least, not sure about Canada and Mexico. But in the USA you don't need a 2-3 Year Ausbildung before being allowed to work in a Manufacture for a Car Brand. I did check with Audi, BMW and Mercedes and they say their North American Manufacturerers are "held to the same Procedure of Manufacturing as in Germany, but the hiring of People to work in these Manufactures isn't as high standard as over here.

    • @@tezzingtonsir28 Britain is part of the European continent so these brands would be "European" whether they were owned by Germans or British. Btw, I seriously doubt either RR or Bentley are up to their old standards of the 1910's to 1960's. Back in those days they were over-engineered, assembled by skillful craftsmen (not some regular assembly worker), every single step of the production and assembly was monitored by people trained to spot "irregularities" and every single engine was tested at full load before mounting into the cars.

    • @@dizzywow its an obvious answer,he depicts what the company is about, its is a manufacturer in German terms,as they replace so many parts,im not sure of the exact percentage, but it is enough to be classed as a manuacturer. in fact they were the first tuning company in the world to be classed as a manufacturer. yes the cars are Benz, but the extras are mostly Brabus on a big build. its basically AMG,but still independent. so with the noise issue, dont blame them, blame the E.U. for their shitty laws. these cars make up ,or most performance cars make up less than 1% of cars sold, yet they have to adhere to those shitty laws. so hence his statement might have been over the top,but it is simple enough to see what he means.
