Bugatti Chiron - Inside the Factory | Full Documentary
Bugatti - A legendary name in the automotive industry, amongst car connoisseurs and pretty much everyone else. The French luxury brand (founded in France by an Italian industrialist named Bugatti) has made the impossible possible: To produce a car of this magnitude in series: voilà the Bugatti Chiron, hypercar with 1500 HP. Produced and assembled in Molsheim, Alsace, the Hypercars are (naturally) 100% handmade.
The production site of the Bugatti Chiron is a studio - not a factory. The designers insisted.
A specially developed W16 engine gives the bolide its power, coupled with exceptional luxury and safety systems, a piece of automotive art is created here.
At Bugatti the motto is "If it is comparable - it is not a Bugatti".

I have 8.6 million dollars own several business and NEVER IN THE WORLD would ever buy a car worth more then 100k it’s a beautiful car yess I must admit tho
I am a Commercial Marine Rescue mechanic it always makes me smile when the narrator says the engine weight 640 kg. This is Small in the world of engines.

Thank you Welt Documentary for giving me a behind the scenes look of my Hermes Bugatti Chiron being built! 37:44
I was gonna say that’s Manny Khoshbin’s car😁
Whenever you drive, do you use the special key? @Manny Khoshbin
Love it haha I was like oh its really Manny in here haha love the content!
I see you own some pretty nice cars. Congrats. But I didn't see a Jeep. Nothing like driving a back road or where there is no road at all! Surely you can afford one? PS: If you buy a Jeep and don't like it, please donate it to me. Mines getting old and worn out.
I thought that when watching the documentary. Something in my head started saying 'That car looks very familiar' Awesome, Manny, just awesome!
Every time he says “French”, a German guy comes on. thanks Volkswagen
The Bugatti screams VW and German engineering ALL OVER IT. But it’s like the Germans said we will build the best car we’ve ever built and sell the car and parts to Bugatti. Let them put it together with their thoughts too . We’ll lay low on this one 🤣
@@bigd5625 Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen 😂

Such a magnificent Hypercar. I can only imagine what it’s like to pilot one of these amazing cars.
As a mechanic, I find this vehicle and engine absolutely stunning.
how tf does that engine fit inside that tiny car i cant figur it out
@@jundguy2003I’d assume no room left, and everything down to the wires has to be at a very exacting angle
9250 euros for the set of tires.. and I was barging with tire’s shop guy last week to give me the 2 used tires for 80$. Now I m convinced I got a good deal and can sleep peacefully. Goodnight everyone
That's nice to hear😂
😂😂
Actually people pay anywhere from 1300 to 2200 for a set of nice performance tires. So 9500 is not outrageous for a Bugatti. It’s the 25,000 oil change I’m worried about. When it’s 50-80 bucks for regular cars
😂😂😂😂
koenigseggs set of tires cost 100k
The most incredible assembly that I have ever seen and I don't really care about fast cars, I love precision manufacturing!
This is the reason why BUGATI is so expensive
@Dhi Mancini the quality, condition, or fact of being exact and accurate.
@Dhi Mancini PRECISION IS WHEN U ARE HIGHLY SKILLED AND USE THAT, UR BRAIN AND UR HANDS TO THE BEST OF UR ABILITY TO BUILT SOMETHING ALMOST TO PERFECTION BEING AS ACCURATE AND PRECISE AS U POSSIBLY CAN BE.
@dhi Mancini, example materials used for Bugatti engine are best quality, quantity, size, design etc are precise because of which it is delivering high performance
I've always enjoyed watching documentaries... but I've never before seen a documentary as amazing as this one. Truly a spectacular video.
Imagine having the job to “test” bugatti’s when theyre finished. That is one lucky guy, absolute dream job
he ain't lucky, ffs guy has won le mans man.
I'm convinced.....i will order tomorrow
You mean ordering the lego model?
@@hathaway.1166 No the aliexpress version.
They are overrated, overpriced. Trust me. I had 2 bugattis but sold them. I went back to my Honda power K20 turbo CRX and couldnt be happier. 😎😎
Great choice @Kanye East you took a smarter choice.
You have to be 'invited' to buy one, that's why i am not an owner.
45:30 " Hey, what do you do for a living?" "I test drive every single Bugatti that is made." -Mic drop
Must be nice.
I have had the pleasure of seeing one in person. It is the most impressive vehicle you will ever see. The exterior and interior are works of art. Amazing.
How qualified a technician should be to build such a great machine, what kind of an exclusive training they must be undergoing. Impressive 🙃
well probably they have to learn how to take the tires off and on every 4000 miles ultimately costing more than the car somehow >>?
They said that They're the elite of engineers. I thought all of them look to be in late 20s to mid 30s so they must have gone through formal training in order to be among the best. To be master engineers tgey must complete 2 extra years of training.
not really... a friend trained to be a car mechanic, worked for audi and then simply send an application and got the job!!! boom...
@@soniajerez8963 they just assembly the parts together ,is all ready made for them ,this is the production factory
Probably one of the best cars ever made.! The engineering is on another level 👌🏻
Another Level best car ever made is VW bug , so many years and still many people drive them , these extremely overengineer cars don’t last long and if they start giving problems ,they are money pits
@@hittrewweuy7595 there is a video about the Veyron where they talk with the president (I believe) and he talks about the powertrain and how they over built it for reliability. I believe he said they haven't had a failure yet. It's a reputation they need to keep. You need reliability with a car of this caliber. This is not a Ferrari after all.
StoP TROLLING mE BrO According to you the fastest is the best?

i am glad that u said Probably cuz its only your opinion. people say probably the best about almost any sport car. basically what u said make no sence but its ok
VW manufactures Chiron's heart, the engine! German engineering art no one else can beat!
Koenigsegg
VW owned, engineered, and manufactured in a French plant..... but yeah, totally French 😏🥴
@@viktorgb3987 Hahaha, whenever some manufacturer finaly has a car that is faster than a bugatti, then bugatti just tweaks the software of their cars and then they are the boss again. I'm sure that this chiron has 2000hp, but bugatti will use those 500 extra hp when the competition comes with something faster, and bugatti then uses 100-200 of their "spare" hp to get back on top of the fastest car game. And i even wouldn't be suprised when they will reach 550kmh within the next 5 years and 600kmh in 10 years from now.
@@3DPeter 600km/h is nearly impossible due to the tires.
@@viktorgb3987 I remember that they said that the tires on the veyron only lasted 15 minutes at 400kmh, and now they push their cars to almost 500kmh, so nothing is impossible. Just use bigger wheels so that they make less rpm
Crazy to think theres only 14 bolts holding the two halves together on a car that can go 300+. Amazing engineering.
Insane piece of engineering it truly is.
300+ now ik how the number translates ty
Amazing body design and a lovely built engine. It's a pure beast!
30:18 so satisfying to watch this part.
What an insight into the Bugatti brand and Chiron. i'm blown away at how much goes into each vehicle, makes you appreciate them more, when you catch a very very rare sight of one on the streets of London. Thank you.
JUST WALK DOWN RODEO DRIVE IN L.A. U CAN SEE ONE ALMOST EVERY DAY.
One of the best documentaries I've seen in a while! Thanks WELT👍👍👍 Random fact: the 7 speed dual clutch direct shift gearbox used by the Chiron is built by Ricardo PLC. The same English company who builds twin-turbo V8 and V6 engines for Mclaren road cars.
My man said “at a safe speed of 400km”😂💀

I just love this channel.
I just had to subscribe, a well researched and presented documentary and it's the first time i have came across this channel.
Well... As a mechanic, I'm extremely jealous. I love this beast of a car... It's overwhelming. Special thanks to Bugatti ♥️
Being a passenger during the test drive would be at the top of my bucket list!!!
It’s beauty is more appealing than it’s speed. That’s how you know work has been put in.
god what a beautiful story they made about Bugatti and Bugatti Chiron, love that you get to see so much of the reason and how they work to make a new Bugatti.
I never knew what it took to make a car of this magnitude!!🔥❤
Just something about it. Beautiful!!
I love how he says French this, French that but the president speaks German because Volkswagen owns Bugatti
French is just a new way to say Volkswagen lol
engine is built in Germany too, and shipped to France
Lol german car put together by france
Same. Shoutout to the most expensive Volkswagen
Wait didn’t the old Bugatti have tires that were like glued to the rims or something or am I going crazy 🤔
Amazing work done by workers!
Superb video and outstanding vehicle assembly, I loved every second of this video. Thank you.
THANK YOU BROTHER, THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS DON'T DESERVE TO COMMENT ON TEAM BUGATTI MASTERPIECES.....
I love how they're trying to pass it off as a French creation when the whole world knows it's German through and through.
I thought I was trippin, had to double check on google 😂
I mean, if we go by your logic, Lambos are German, so are Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Ducatis, Skodas and Seats, Teslas are South African, Paganis are Argentinian, Jaguars are Indian, Nissans are French and so are Dacias and Opels. It's a game that never ends.
@@B4R0N. no not really what he meant is most of the car's components arrives from Germany including the fully built Powerplant. If u paid attention, most of the 20 technicians were German too. So yeah the name might be French but in most other ways its a German product
Volkswagen owns it but they don’t really make the car so technically it’s both
@@rohitjain3210 While that may be true for the drivetrain, Components for the rest of the car come from all over Europe (and the world at large). Now, when it comes to the people they interviewed speaking German, that's something that is true for most of the VW group. Higher ups tend to be German. Be it at Bugatti, Lamborghini or even Bentley. Seriously, check the CEOs. The vast majority of them speak with german accent. The same goes for the lead engineers. As I previously stated, it's a game that never ends.
Watching this makes me love and appreciate the BUGATTI brand even more than I did before this message. I would love to be a Bugatti technician one day that would be a dream job to work on a exquisite Automobile such as a Bugatti model.

I was fortunate enough to be in the same office when Sasha designed the Chiron. He wasn't at his desk much busy traveling back and forth attending meetings between studios in Europe. I just had to take my Bugatti Chiron Hot Wheels car back today from my three year old. I have no idea how it got mixed in with his cars but he took the requisition gracefully like a gentleman. Then I showed him this video so he could see the amazing craftsmanship that goes into making a real one. I had the privilege of driving one once when I worked for an exotic car dealership in Ft.
