    • @@jacobkubacki2719 I believe Gina Carano was the one who grew the womans divisions popularity. She was the first hot fighter to rock the women division. Which started building its attention and popularity. She was more of striker then submission artist. Ronda only went further because she refused to fight the steroid junky Cyborg unlike Gina Carano. Gina was everything better then Ronda, she was humble and true skilled brawler. She didn't have to rely on arm bar submissions. Gina didn't even have any blood or marks on her face or was even knocked out by Cyborg. She just lost because she guarded too long. Which was one-sided fight anyway, fighting someone who had took alot of steroids. Which was not very difficult to see by just looking at the Cyborg.

    • Wasn't all her fault. She had a nobody for her striking. Watching her I always kept saying her chin hasn't been tested. It's MMA. She needs to be well rounded. Her ego did get heightened from her lame striking coach. It also was the UFC and Dana's fault. You don't put someone who got knocked out by head kick a title fight as her first fight coming back. Especially fighting Amanda Nunes which was a savage and the G.O.A.T . I think she could have been a great fighter if she better more honest people behind her in her training camp. Dana is a user as well. He only likes you if your brining in money and are what he likes to call a needle mover. He will drop you like a bad habit if your not making him money. Look how fast he dropped Ronda when she lost, not only to Holly but Amanda.

What amazed me about Ronda is how long she lasted, but I also felt she was protected from major strikers too with decent ground game. Ronda was a cash cow, so I felt they all rode her and protected her as much as possible, but where the other women evolved in the sport Ronda didn't, she really needed to work on her hands and I bet she let her cardio slide at the end because she believed in her hype too much.

As we all know about Conor McGregor. He is also very arrogant and do very misbehave some times but I feel we can see he also has very soft and gentle nature at place of his heart. So Once he faced some losing fights in spite of that he don't loose heart and even people troll him he came back, perform well because of his positive nature at some place. This empower him, I feel but Unfortunately Once Ronda achieved high level in mma She became very arrogant and loosing place of gentle, polite and humble behavior in her heart. At last I must say that Ronda should realise that she was doing wrong and She should prove her as good human being and It is also goal of true sports (MMA not WWE., wwe is like a drama) which gives us strength to became a good human.

Once fighters in her actual weight squared off, you see her strength being neutralized. So her red carpet to popularity makes her only a fighter with a paper made championship. • Ronda undoubtedly made a huge impact on the sport-absolutely. Personally, though, I wasn't a fan of her fighting style. It seemed like she excelled mainly against opponents who weren't as physically strong and relied heavily on her armbar technique. However, when facing more formidable opponents like Holmes and Nunez, she struggled and got destroyed. While winning is the ultimate goal, I appreciate seeing a broader range of skills in a fight. Nine of Rhonda’s twelve victories were by armbar. Nonetheless, Ronda's presence did contribute positively to the sport, leaving it in a better state than when she entered.

  • She made the mistake a lot of champions do. She got comfortable and after her loss she came back too fast. Doing tune ups and fighting a series of fights to work up to another title fight would have been smarter. It would have helped rebuild her confidence and shake off the ring rust. But underneath it all, I think she just didn't really want it anymore. People don't understand the insane amount of work and suffering it takes to become a judo Olympian, let alone a medalist. It's years of fighting 100 matches a year, training full time with no off season. Kayla Harrison describes being a pro MMA fighter as a vacation compared to being a Judo competitor. After a literal lifetime of training, suffering and fighting she was probably burned out. I can imagine she just didn't want to embrace the suck anymore and wanted to enjoy her life. Working her way up again in MMA just wasn't appealing. She was already at the top. She was rich, famous and had a lot of opportunities. Summoning up the will to be a hungry young fighter with something to prove again probably seemed very uninteresting.

  • Rousey was actually a great fighter much better than her downfall would indicate. That being said between her ego, her bad coach Tarverdyan and not allowing contact by strikes at all during her training she was never going to withstand the era of great women strikers like Holmes, Shevchenko and especially Nunes. Her coach convinced her she was a great striker and she was a good striker much improved no doubt but never great. When Rousey gets hit she freezes up and drops her hands every time. Their strategy of standing and striking with those women was doomed from the outset. Rhonda's only chance was to close the distance based upon timing and fight on the ground. Not easy as the best fighters and so versatile today.... Yet her ground game and grappling was better than any of theirs even still. Regardless the sport moved on and she was on an ill fated venture with little chance of surviving. Her star shined bright and I would have liked to see what she could have done with the right coach and game plan.
