Listen carefully, because you're the reason, and the ones who can change it. Stop with the hate and the cancel culture and the me me me bullshit, and focus on the real problem. We are losing our country to people who have no business being here, that should be priority NO. 1

  • I'm 32 months sober. It took multiple trys. I had 2 alcohol induced seizures from the withdrawals. It was by far the hardest thing I ever battled through. Since being sober. I found myself a beautiful woman that I married too. Became a homeowner and we had our first child together 7 months ago. My beautiful wife and beautiful daughter named Willow and son Wyatt are the reasons I keep going everyday. Prayers to all of you struggling. The struggle really never goes away. It just becomes maintainable. Stay strong. Much love ❤️

    • Same…I’m scared but my life…my love is wrestling. So much wrestling has helped. Eddie Guerrero is an inspiration. Hearing Kevin Nash’s words about his son. My aunt saying I’ve seen people die before 40 from alcohol. Waking up asking God please help me. I’m trying so hard to phase alcohol out of my life. Last night was ROUGH. Every fiber of me was say drink up. But my soul was saying no! This song is helping too…rather ironic considering Tom was a wrestler.

    • Keep it up! I too am sober finally. I had a 23 year long gnarly Opiate addiction. Which began at 14 with My father feeding me prescription pain pills. I got sober at 37. I am now just over a year fully clean and sober. And I still am in a program and I go to my outpatient clinic 4x a week still! I started at 7 days a week. Very slowly allowed for tiny bits of more freedom. I think I’ll work a program of one kind or another for the rest of my life. Which is overwhelming at times to think too deeply about. But considering the absolute hell I survived in for the first half of my life this should be looked at as a blessing not a curse. It saved my life. I was praying every single night to not wake up the next day. I wanted to die I had become so depressed and trapped. But now my life is slowly getting better and better. I just wanted to tell you I know your pain. I understand the struggle. As well as the blessings That all come at you at once when you change your life and stop using and have to face everything head on that u have avoided or swept under the rug for so long. It sounds like your on an amazing path now! ❤

Being alone will become your comfort zone. I know this comment is very late but I just recently found your music and it is great. Came across this song today and just felt a need to reach out. I don't know how long you have been sober but you keep going. I love you, your fans love you. Continue to speak truth, there are so many who need to hear it. This song will turn people around. • Addiction is gradual until it’s sudden! Several attempts later, and coming up on 14 years sober. If I can you can, one second at a time becomes one minute become a day become a week a month a year but the fight is always right now! I know my tigers are in the tall grass following along and staying low to the ground. Every second I watch and defend my ground as if my life depends on it, because it does! God bless all those in the fight, the weapons to defend come from our father in heaven. If you doubt this, how have your weapons worked so far? Just saying I’ve learned what works and God knows I’ve tried what doesn’t. If he created you, surely he can defend you. You have only to ask him.

Thank you Tom for keeping it clear to me that I don't want to feel like that again. American Canadian. You are one of the greats my dude. People can say what they want but to do it without a label, manager, anybody but your girl. You fucking did it though. And that's truly a fucking inspiration brother. Thank you for sending a message to the people who need to hear it most. Whether they want to listen or not they only get mad because they know what you say is true. Keep shining brother.

I don't have much of a struggle not drinking but a constant struggle to maintain a state of spiritual progression that keeps me from getting to a state where I might contemplate drinking. • I really wish I had this song while I was quitting opiates cold turkey 10yrs ago Listening to this vividly brings me back to those two weeks of nightmare withdrawls, mental breakdown, and massive anxiety. Just seeing him hunched over attacking the bed was me everyday during that period.... But the weird thing is, those memories now fill me with joy I made that leap. It's truly hard to quit whatever your addiction is, especially when it comes with massive physical and mental withdrawls. Just know you can be free of the mental slavery addiction inflicts on you. But you and you alone have to want it. Period. Just know you are not alone and it takes love and support from those that care about you, don't turn them away. I know if it wasn't for my wife's full support (girlfriend at the time and crazy for sticking with me thru it) I don't know how far I would of gotten. But I'm damn happy I did.
