Logitech G Pro Wireless VS Ultralight, G903, G305, G703, Revel and FK2
Seen a lot of questions about this mouse VS other mice, wanted to answer some here, and also just to be clear... the Logitech G Pro Wireless is a different size and shell to the Logitech G Pro, G102, G203 and G305. It is a unique design.
You have to find the right mouse for you, don't worry about what's number 1, 2, 10 or even 20, just get what suits your needs. This mouse is amazing but I use the Zowie FK2 because it's the right size and shape for me.

Did you see surefour gave you a shoutout, you deserve it, everytime im about to buy a mouse i check your review on it
golden age of mouse imo..and tbh, i believe you helped in that rjn. else all we get are still those gajilon color rgb features improving every release
Can confirm mouse companies watch my videos and even ask me directly, so yes a lot of mice you see have our influence. I say "our" because I've been talking to the community all these years and passed on a lot of the ideas, even things I don't want personally. So shout out to everyone who has left a comment, I don't have time to reply but I do read them. And a big thank you to all the subs, supporters and viewers for making it all possible... we did it!
Do u get paid for consulting them? I hope u do. I found this channel a few days ago and your assment of models I was considering to buy really helped narrow it down to 2-3 choices. Hope u find success in reviewing and consulting.
Can you review the new AORUS M5? looking the photos and specs, it seems that they listened about the things that you doesn't like about the M3 :)
No, never actually. Maybe I should start asking? haha I just wanted good mice on the market so I told them what I'd change. Glad the videos helped!
He does get the mice without charge(i think) from companies for a review that potentially gets a good kickback for rjn if it's worth for the asking price and whatnot.
Thanks for helping me pick the G403! Your videos are very in depth and informative, thanks!
This Video was as always more informative than everything else you can find on the internet right now.. Great job zy,keep doing.
Thanks for the update bro, appreciate it!.
I just want an FK2 with an updated sensor, lighter clicks, 24 step scroll wheel, and a softer cable. This mouse looks good but seems a bit expensive. I've had QC issues with 3 logitech mice from the G series so I'll wait for a bit before I make a decision on this one. Great work Zy, I hope more manufacturers listen to your advice!
Great comparison video. Not too many quality in-depth videos like this. Cheers
G Pro wireless without weight cover is 77g. That's almost as light as Ultralight while having no cable drag. Too bad it costs $150.
agreed , also my option has shitty wheel for cs:go players , its should be like a Zowie's hard solid mouse wheel , Secondly im slug sense player and using 600eDPİ for csgo (i prefer lower but cant spray so) g502 mouse has a very glide slient skates , but i saw G Pro Wirelles has loud and controll skates but second one isnt problem , i can buy original zowie fk-2 skates and paste over mouse feet . But first problem is game broker . we need to unbind mouse wheel for the FUCkİnG mOuSe WhEEl İ go Ak To Knİfe AnD İ FUCkED BullShıT MOuSe wHeeL
Well it Canada you can only buy the phantom on eBay for $180 (gPro wireless is $200). So it's an easy choice.
Or u just buy exteamly cheap used zowie fk2 (i bought for only used 27$ boxed in Turkey) mouse and u apply the this mod imgur.com/r/MouseReview/GB4hh
Finalmause sucks has horrible Skates , good idea , bad quality and exteamly hight price , %90 out of stocks , horrible custom service , bad wheel , bad dpi changer butyon palacement (u can press wrongly). 500hz , no hz change button or not coming with the basic mouse software (they retarded like says do not overclock your mouse)
kzhead.info/sun/l7iEgLKcp5WMl4E/bejne.html this video helps about reducting mouse weight
Thanks for informing us when the ultralight gets restocked, I'm waiting :)
Glad I went with the G Pro Wireless instead of the 903. It should be arriving sometime this weeks and I’m super excited!
Great channel, incredibly useful info, thank you for doing what you are doing.
I love you Zy, you've made buying a mouse so easy! I have always been sceptical about wireless and I just ordered myself the Wireless G pro. G403 has been my main so I am excited for this! Thanks for all your hard work!
@K M Friday, anxiously waiting! I hope it arrives during the day, it'll make my weekend!
Planning on making the switch to the wireless gpro from g403 as well, how'd yours turn out?
@@Nexifyy Haven't gone back! I am loving how light it is and how incredibly long the battery life is, I can go a whole week without having to charge it. Haven't experienced any lag and have been using for the past two months. If you like the hump on the G403, the g pro doesn't have that big hump towards the palm area, which I wasn't a fan of much. Overall a great mouse, you'll love it.
@@AlwaysRaging21 awesome! Thank you so much I plan on snagging one when I can! Thanks for the feedback appreciate it :)
@@AlwaysRaging21 Agree, arrived today. Had the G703 (basically the 403 with wireless) before. And I LOVE the G Pro. My first match in CS GO was one of the best I've ever had!
great content like always zy!
Do not ever stop posting we love you no matter what seriously
My first gaming mouse was a DeathAdder Black Edition. I loved using it, but the middle click was getting unusable. I read about the G502 and recommended it to 2 of my friends, who both loved it. So I got one too. I love the features - buttons I can bind to whatever (my "sniper" button is set to right arrow for one website I frequent) and that godly scroll wheel. But I ended up realizing that I don't actually use palm grip. I used fingertip since the texture of my DeathAdder became smooth without even realising, because the hard plastic became too slippery to lift the mouse. The G502 had the same issue and for a while I used vertical mice while browsing because my wrist was getting cold and cramped. I realised that the g303 shape I made fun of would actually suit me better, but I didn't want to buy a new mouse. So I sawed like an inch of plastic from the back of the G502 and swapped the metal ring on the scroll wheel to a rubber one. It's not pretty but it's light, EASY to lift and still has all of its stock features.
Gotta say. As I'm not much of a quake player, Quake is probably the best game to have experience on to really evaluate a good mouse from a bad one. Even for other competitive, mouse heavy shooters like Counter strike. And the fact that you are pro level at this, gives your videos that much more integrity. It completely make other amature tech enthusiasts review videos who are "worse than trash" gamers look like they are just doing an unboxing video about any gaming peripherals. One thing I would like you to try however is comparing "cheaper" gaming mice to the ones you currently have on your top list. To really see how large or how small the gap is from cheaply made to more "upper level" if you will, developed mice. You know, to help the little guys out. Keep it up man, really helping consumers and companies make great choices when it comes to gaming mice. Your videos helped me to pick probably my favorite mouse. The Zowie EC2-A which i got in 2016. Great mouse, but now since im starting to really feel the effects of the 3310 sensor. I would like to upgrade to the G403 or the G pro just to try out a really great wireless mouse, and to see if logitech actually brought back some great mice ever since their last great mouse. "G400/G400s"
the biggest of ups for bringing the g pro wireless to my attention. just bought one and am beyond excited to give my first wireless mouse a go!
Hey! RJN, thanks for your videos, they are awesome! My favorite mouse shape is the Nixeus Revel, but I was thinking of getting a wireless counterpart most similar in shape. Do you have a recommendation off of that?
atm im really digging the g305. at first i disliked the material but after a bit i forgot about it an now am completley used to it. thank you for all the great reviews and comparisons. :)
Im using WMO, still the best mouse in 2018 imo ♥ :D nice pictures RJN, thanks
just ordered my gpw from mwave! apparently they ship tomorrow, very excited!
I did the same thing about a year ago. How's your mouse holding up? Mine had been plagued with the double click issue.
gonna be buying a new mouse soon, was basically looking at all of these, nice video :^)
Hey Zy! Can you do a review on the HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro? New sensor, new materials, new shape. Keep up the great work!
sick a fresh Zy compressive mouse comparison best in dept reviewer out and lord of Quake!
That last clip tho
dead channel.
dumb comment
why are you guys so negative
They're just morons looking for attention. Don't give it to them.
Dead channel.
I am using the revel right now and i love it, perfect shape, good sensor, great quality, and its only 39 euros so imo the best
awesome clip at the end there
Stepping away from RGB craze is always a good thing to focus more on perfomance and functionality. Reminds me of late 90's and early 00's car underglow neon craze.
I just bought the Logitech g703 i tested the Steel Series Rival 600 because they claimed the best lift off detection but the g703 is much better in every way and with the g703 your cursor barely moves when lifting the mouse. Also the Rival 600's sensor was bad i tried moving the cursor in fast circles and the cursor would skip i don't recommend the Rival 600.The Zowie Fk2 looks amazing i definitely want one, I think soon enough someone will make a sensor that completely removes lift off detection, thank you RJN!
I should be receiving my G Pro Wireless this Saturday. Can't wait!!
And, now?
Hey rocket jump ninja, I have request could you include a detail in you’re website about the mouse software, I found that hid compliant mice lag in older games, again thanks for the awesome video
Can't wait for the G Pro wireless to be imported in my part of EU. last 5 mice i got were all thanks to RJN reviews, no mistakes so far.
Hey Rocket! Great review. Can you make a video that show how you clean your mice?
Just bought myself a G pro, it'll be here in 3 days, cant wait^^
How is it bud compared to your other mouse?
@@SuspiciousSalad best mouse that ive ever used by far, coming from a rival 300 and the latest was a zowie ec-2a
These are great videos. Just some feedback however, spend a bit more time showing the mouse size comparisons like at 1:44 . This is very important for those people who can't try out mice in person. Things like click sounds are very iffy when mic, editing software and viewer's speakers can change this up, so it becomes less important than visual, but still important enough to cover.
i was useing SS 600 but want to go wireless So gonna start witht the g305 with weight reduction and go from there. The Model O shape looks alot like the final mouse your holding?
I use the g403.I wouldnt mind getting me a white g703 like yours tho.I like the look of the G Pro wireless just because of those two extra side buttons.Do your pinky and other finger push those buttons comfatabley or does it feel fukt up??
Hey, Zy. I Know is quite a unknow mouse but ever thought about reviewing the Alienware 958 (the newer one, at least I think there is a newer one)? I'm curious about that thing.
Zy, I can't decide between the S2 or the G pro wireless. My handsize is 17.5 CM x 9.5 CM and I use claw grip. I love the shape for both of them tho. Could you please help me?
So I have the g pro wireless right now and before that had the g403 I actually preferred the shape of the g403 and the grips as the g pro wireless grips are terrible for the price I paid would you suggest the 703 as it's the same shape as the 403but is wireless ?
Well i know that this question doesn't have anytinhg to do withe topic of the video, but i would like to make you a question. I own a Logitch G502 for 3 years and i'm thinking of buying a Rival 600. I never own a steelseries before do you think the rival 600 in terms of quality and sensor is as good or better the logitech g502?? The only problem of g502 is the weight. Hope to get an honest opinion fro you. Keep doing the amazing work you do.
I've been using the G703 for about half a year now and I have to say I expected it to be better. I'm thinking about switching back to a Deathadder. I've used a 2013 Deathadder for 4 years and the only thing that stopped working for mine was the middlemouse button.
Could i recommend detailing the mouse feet more and even perhaps recommending replacements such as hyperglides or corepadz because when comparing the ultralight you should always make people aware of just how bad the feet are. This also might make FM consider upgrading them
Hey, would you be interested in reviewing like, "budget gaming setups" like the mouse and keypad combos from aliexpress/direct from China? The motospeed k27 and v30 doesn't look bad, the ergonomics on most of the cheap keypads are nonexistent, but I would love to see your take on them.
With the Rival 600 do you think the magnets on the sides could do harm to your monitor if it got close enough?
After trying out so many mice recently, id have to say, buttons, click feel, build quality and material are more important to me than I thought. I originally just focused on shape and weight. But after trying out the fk2 and ec2a for a few months, I liked the shape and the weight, but the glossy plastic material just drove me nuts. It would get sticky after maybe 2-3 matches and would annoy the hell out of me. The buttons were nice, but still had some wiggle to them. I pushed off the g403 for a long time since it wasn't as light as the fk2, and shape wasn't as good as the ec2a according to a lot of people on reddit ( I have medium hands but I liked smaller mice). However, after playing with the g403 I fell in love. The clicks, the materials, and shape and surprisingly low weight (88g without the cap) combined all made me put it above the ec2a and fk2. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but the precision, comfort and quality of the mouse just made me love it. I aim better with the g403 than I did with the fk2, ec2a, and venator. So I feel like those factors can help people choose their perfect mice as well. Same story with the rival 600. I pushed it off because of its weight (roughly 97g) and large size, but after buying it on discount, the mouse was just superb. Precise buttons, extremely comfortable shape (the most comfortable i've tried) and removable sides made me realize the $80 price tag was well worth it.
Ikr! G403 ftw
Zir S The g403 1200 DPI sensor is ultra power hungry, unable to change wireless, old crap now.... Now, go for the G703, the better replacement of the G403, same $80! better for less, G403 is still $100 if you can find them in 2018....
@@lucasrem I use the wired g403. Only wireless mouse I want to get is the g pro wireless. Seeing as how I loved the g305
Zir S Many can offer wired solution, if you need wireless, you need LightSpeed, not Bluetooth...
Bought the g pro wireless a few days ago, hasn't arrived yet since I had to get it shipped from Ireland. No retailers have it in stock in Norway, don't know why it hasn't been released here yet. Really hope it fits my hands (19.5x11), don't want to have to ship it back to Ireland. It does look like the most perfect mouse out there atm.
Have you reviewed the Swiftpoint Z? I couldn't find it listed on your channel.
Holy shit!!!! the flick on that last clip to the last enemy was insane.
Hey zye, how do you feel the shape of the fk2 compares to the 305? Since I do have some side grip issues with the 305 and would prefer it to be a bit taller or wider.
Do you know how to recover the matte finish of used mice? I want to sell my g403 to get the gpro, but the buttons became so glossy it hurts to the eye.
Hey Zyyyy, any chance you might post a few pics of a side by side comparison of the UL Ph, the Gpro Wireless and the FK2 at different angles? These three mice seem to be competing closest and it would be great to see a comprehensive set of comparison images.
I thought I had to pick the G Pro Wireless because it's ranked #1 on your list, but that is not the case. I had to pick the mice that is right for me. And yet, it is still the G Pro Wireless. The shape fits my hand size and the shape and weight is just like an old Logitech mouse I've been using before. I still have it and well, let's just say the G Pro Wireless is an upgrade. The weight is still the same but the better sensor plus the fact it's wireless makes it 10x better (not really).
Zy, does the pro wireless have soft m1+m2 buttons similar to the G303's?
No mention of the G903's buttons/click quality and how it compares to the G Pro Wireless? I have a G900 and am curious to hear how the G Pro Wireless' clicks and modular side buttons stack up against the feel of its predecessor.
Do you think Zowie will come with new/updated mice? I got an EC2-A right now and really want to try the FK2, but you still pay top dollar for a rather old product...I tried asking Zowie but unfortunately never got a response
I like thin scrollwheels . It makes my fingers feel more relaxed and in natural position . That's why my favortie mouse are those budget one's: logitech m100 and wireless logitech m310 . Logitech wireless seem to have thin scrollwheel also
Well damn, I might have to try this now. Thanks Zy lol. Although, Im not sure if it'll be any improvement over my g703.
Hi Zy what would you think if roccat releases an updated version of the kiro?
hey RJN have u used a model m or nah u should review the unicomp model m its like a new model m u can buy with usb
Is the g305 white ligher than the black version just as in the case of the g pro?
I just got my hyperglides and Paracord for my ultralight sunset. Can't wait to install them
Could you record it?
thx for ur vids, ur very professional. The way u speak is hard to understand for me though.
How did you get the Ultralight? Im also in AU and I tried to get it but I couldn't even see it on the PCCG website when they where announced .
Hi. Would you recommend g403 wireless or g305. I wanna use it for fps games like r6
g304 (Asian G305) is on alliexpress now. It's like 1/4 the price of a local au g pro wireless even factoring postage.
Hey papi. The razer blackwido elite just came out. Will you do a review for it ?
what keyboard is your number 1 all around? your reviews lead me to pick up a g403 and I want a keyboard to go with it
Is there a mouse similar in shape as the Logitech G pro Wireless? I'm looking for medium sized mouse but don't wanna spend 100euro+ on a wireless mouse. I feel like the G pro is just a little bit too small and g403 a bit too big.
Thanks for this brother.
Was waiting for the Logitech g wireless pro vs 903
Zy, thank you for such thorough and informative mouse reviews. I bought the G Pro Wireless based on your review and it is amazing. You mention in previous reviews that on the G305, 400 and 800 DPI seemed jerky. What DPI do you play at or recommend? Also, why do so many pro's play using 400 and 800 dpi?
Jayden, is 800 dpi best for gaming then?
Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for saying if you have roughly your hand size the g305 is still good i just bought it, and i love it
Can u list all nice that are like the shape of ultralight phantom
Random question but do any of these mice besides the G903 have the hyper scrolling feature? My G900 series mice died for the 3rd time last week so looking for a replacement ideally wireless with the hyper scroll and not a g900.
As far as i know the g502 has that feature but is not wireless. Roccat leadr has a pad for the thumb that you can keep pressed and should be used for scrolling
G pro wireless #1 replaced my ultralight pro after one evening of gaming, it’s truly amazing wireless is amazing and the future if Logitech continues to improve their shapes they could take over the market. Like zy said 80 grams and wireless
Is the GPRO Wireless the same material as the wired gpro or is the material similar to Zowie mice?
i was wanting the g pro wireless until i did the mouse search on your website and the only thing that showed up was the g305 (even on high leniancy) now im super confused on what to get because everyone says that the g pro is THE best mouse for fortnite (the main game i play, but looking into devoting my time into other games)
Hi guys, can you compare g pro wireless and g305 for accuary and aim performance?
My hand width is exactly 10cm and 18cm in lenght like you, but im not sure it would affect my aiming if i went with Logitechs G pro wireless mouse, whats your oppinion ?
So, I have the same hand size measurements as you, Zy, and I was wondering what mouse comes closest to being 60 percent of that? 18cm by 9cm of course.
what do you think of the steep steel series 600 vs these mouse ?
I own the G Pro wireless now and after 3 weeks i can say, its worth every cent! I've used the Zowie EC2-A before. I wouldnt buy a mouse with cable again!
If your hand size fits, Why is the G pro wireless "a better choice for sure" vs the G305? Features?
Awesome video super useful! My hands are 19 By 9 CM and I'm a leftie (Left-handed)
I own every one of these mice except the g pro wireless *which I preordered*. 2 of the ultralight phantoms. Zy, you got me addicted brother. :p
then could u tell me which one should i get, fk2 or g pro, (22cm long hands)
Did you see the Thermaltake ventus R? It' a 75g small mouse with 3310, that's unique, but i read complaints about the cable
I can't seem to find much info on this, but what is your view on cable drag? I watched your video, and read a lot of stuff online, but do you think it brings about an inconsistency in the aim that is important to take into account? Some mice, like the g403, give me some discomfort with the cable being thick and heavy. So I've changed. But when I think about it, it's still there and I wonder what a veteran like you thinks on the inconsistency. I now have the Rival 310 and love it, but as I just said, it isn't wireless. Is wireless the best then? Should I run with a g403 wireless or another suggestion (the mouse here is a tad expensive haha)? Great video as always! -Note: I do use a mouse bunjee. The cable itself still touches the mousepad, as tightening it to the point where it's off the pad would limit the range I have.
A trick I use that I found even better then mouse bungees is to tape the cable to the side of your monitor. The increased angle prevents the first cm or 2 of cable from touching the pad like it would a bungee. But that's just my setup yours could be different.
Good for looking by for new mice
On a performance scale where do you rank the Razer Hyperflux ? Do you really think it doesn't belong in the top 40? I kind of felt like you main dislike was the price.
I used fk2 then switched to g pro wired, it feels like that I aim better with fk2 but g pro just feels like sensor is better, maybe it is me, tomorrow I'm getting g pro wireless and I'm very excited about it because if it has similar shape to fk1/fk2 I think I'm going to love it.
So I'm starting to take PC gaming more seriously now, only been playing for about 8 months... bought a Logitech G502 cuz my favorite streamer used it, not realizing how big and heavy it was for my small hands. I'm looking to get a new mouse for smaller hands but I'm not sure which to get; Logitech G Pro Wireless or the FK2. My hand dimensions are: 6 3/4" length, 4 3/4" wide. Sorry no CM on my ruler (cuz 'Murica). Any help in this decision making process would be very helpful. Thank you!
I'm waiting for the updated 500 series with wireless and the new sensor, tilt wheel is a must for me
Love your videos
FK2 is the bomb! I still feel like my aim was slightly better with the WMO
Zy, DPI advice please!! Do you recommend 1600 DPI? Keep up the great reviews!!
If you are fine with it, yes.
Is it wider than the G703 and Revel? I can't really tell from the video.
The g pro just looks so smooth
Hey man, just wanted to ask about the difference between: BenQ Zowie G-SR Large E-Sports Gaming Mouse Pad & Cooler Master Swift-RX XL Gaming Mouse Pad Are they use same materials ? and same performance ? I mean I am confused between both which one I should go with.
Since no one responded I try to help you. They should be pretty similar but the swift rx is a bit taller and cheaper (at least where i live) and if i remember correctly after cleaning with water the g-sr the rubber under it may loose a bit of grip on the table
@@Aetheriall thnx for your help, really appreciated.
Can you please do a review on the Pwnage Altier Pro RGB gaming mouse
