Buy the 305 AND a gym mebership. 97 grams is not heavy, that’s just a skill issue.
2024 and still a top choice. Either get big AA lithium if you dont bother about weight, but I recommend the adapter + lithium AAA which brings the weight down to 83g and more importantly makes the mouse balanced and equal heavy on all corners. Once you're used to small mice it's hard to go bigger regardless of hand size

G305 is just too good... you can get it NEW as low as 35 usd. It's like way too cheap for what it offers.

Yeah.. Its so sad they changed the shape cuz I used the Logitech G Pro wired for the longest time. They should make a wireless model version of the G Pro with no battery required so its weight is more similar to the wired form.
I really like your keyboard. I like that it has a non gamery font, which is rare in 60% keyboards these days. So, which model is that? I hope it isn't too expensive 😅

I have bigger hands and since for time i tried legendary Logitech g9x i can't use bigger mouses... So g305 was absolutely amazing when i bought it for first time. Unfortunately that quality build isn't perfect... Hate that plastic build, and the worst is after 2 years simply left button (and now sterted even right button) doesn't click properly, or when i trying to get icon and move it somewhere, that pressure suddenly dissapear and i loose that icon in that movement.... Or double click.... I was looking for G Pro, but seeing it's much bigger than g305 i won't be trying it

Well i just purchased g304 with around 27usd in my country, of coz the g pro is the better mouse but its selling around 80usd here.

G304 and G305 are the same mouse, 1st one is just branded different for the Asian markets. I have a G304 and a G305 and I can't tell them apart, appearance and performance wise.
A mouse with a ridiculous DPI isn't for show. It makes the low DPI have tighter control. think of it like a car with high MPH/KPH on speedometer. it makes the acceleration better at low speeds if that makes sense.
While I agree in part. It doesn't really tell the whole story. I would disagree with the car analogy since we actually do not want acceleration in a mouse and higher DPI does not increase acceleration. Also, in context to this video, the difference in 12k DPI on the G305 and 25.6K DPI on the G Pro Wireless it is impossible to tell the difference on the effect of higher DPI when using lower DPI settings.
Yeah until you consider that dpi is the accuracy of it, and you can just set the cursor speed

Yup, all the buttons on both the G305 and the G Pro Wireless are programmable.

That depends on your budget. I definitely prefer my G Pro over my G305, but if I was on a budget I'd get the G305 and I'd be perfectly happy with it.

I held both in a store today. G pro wireless felt better in my large-palmed hand. I wanted to buy the g603 which was slightly, very slightly larger. Ultimately i got a g305 in white as it matches my keeb. Still, their sizes do differ and I would have picked GPro if i were tryhard sweaty serious gamin
who the hell changes their dpi based on what game they're playing? that's what ingame sensitivity options are for lol
I adjust the in game settings as well. But for shooters being able to lower my DPI on the fly when sniping is clutch. Also in Elite Dangerous having a high DPI in supercruise and a low DPI in regular flight especially with flight assist off is invaluable.

hey, he would do whatever he wants, it's his mouse. I just think its dumb and I have the right to voice my opinion.
If I had to give an example GTA 5 would be a game for which I would have to use different dpi than any other games because even in the lowest in game sense the camera movement is still very sensitive. And really like other said, it's their preference. Who are you and I to say what they should and should not do.
