    • Few people actually see live kills. If you do see this you are very lucky. I'd say 1 in 10 tourists actually see Wild dogs, never mind a kill. People often see lions and leopards on a kill they made over night but not often the actually kill itself. In 5 years I've only seen 7 kills and I live in the bush.

  • At first you'd think the AWDs look like menaces and vermin to nature. i used to loathe them until I heard in a video a guy say they were his favorite animal after one got killed by a lion. so I looked into them and fell inlove with them myself. these are truly marvelous creatures, esp at the den with the pups, and compassion for each other. truly a species to respect, adore, and appreciate. they are truly intelligent and seems like that have a somewhat comprehensive language with each other to understand. they weed out the weak and excessive bc there are so many herbivores [prey animals] than needed for the ecosystem. so AWDs can thrive if left alone and plenty of roaming territory. being in zoos is really a terrible prison for them, and esp if alone without a companion, bc they need lots of land to run with the thrill of the hunt, and rely on each other for bonds for life.. if locked up, at least give them a buddy to be depressed with instead of being alone. now my most hated animal is hyenas.

    @justaguy4real@justaguy4real4 жыл бұрын
