It's strange but also interesting, 7 hyenas dare not attack this warthoug. However, it only needs 1 leopard to kill it, which usually gets the worst of it against 1 full-grown hyena.

It is fascinating how the behavior of same species varies from place to place. Spotted hyenas of Ngorogoro would have ripped that warthog apart in no time (those clans even bring down adult bull cape buffaloes).

If a lone hyena is bold enough to get around a Rhinoceros and bite its gentilia there was literally nothing stopping them from destroying that hog in seconds. The Rhino wasn't injured it was trying to eat and took the threat lightly. The gentilia isn't the only thing the hyena go for. The Hind legs or any leg at all against half a Ton of force is gone. Very cool video. Hyenas are excellent hunters in their own right. All predators will steal and scavenge when the opportunity arises. That warthog is not afraid of them at all. Came back! But if the hyenas had not already eaten, it would likely have been a different story...

Very cool video. Hyenas are excellent hunters in their own right. All predators will steal and scavenge when the opportunity arises. That warthog is not afraid of them at all. Came back! But if the hyenas had not already eaten, it would likely have been a different story...

Wild Dogs don't regularly compete with Lions, nor could a Wild Dog take a meal from a Leopard.
@@ThaOneChrisJONES the weight's difference can explain this fact. In a very far away past the biggest wild dog's pack was very important : around 500 dogs (true !!!!). They were King of africa...as the wolf's pack in north america !!!! Canines are the best!
