Chris, you’re old school Philadelphia“brotherly love”. Helps the dog on this episode, stops for people broken down, and the coup de grace - you were ultra-patient with the dude trying to get that vehicle out of the tight backyard from awhile back. Given that you’re from a city that threw batteries at Santa Claus - you’re a good dude. 😂
We threw snowballs
Yoo that was a good episode =D
Nice work 💪🇺🇸
Very well said sir. Could not agree more!
We threw snowballs.... And Santa was a Giants fan!
I am glad to see that there are people like yourself that are willing to do the right thing and Help the Pup on the Highway. Good Stuff 👍
Taking time to help k9 great job everyone 👍
That was doing to much I think I wouldn't help especially when it causes traffic jams
I love seeing humans spontaneously going out of their way to help (a dog in danger in this case.) Always restores my faith in humanity somewhat. Thanks for doing and showing that Chris!
Keep it with the camper. Hopefully, you get the colors to match better. It's a perfect fit, especially with the utility storage bins.
@4:20 - In my 54 years on this planet, I have never gone wrong by judging people personally by how they treat animals. You, sir, are good farging people. Seriously GREAT deed, man. I'd sub to your channel again if I could.
Forget the truck, well done with helping rescue the terrified dog! 😍😍😎
So awesome you went after the dog! Glad he got off the road safely. ❤
That was a real good deal! I am with Jen on this one , keep the truck for the clapper. Leave the Clapper on it and be ready to go anytime! Get rid of one of your lesser used vehicles. The truck is far more useful than some of the others that you have.
When I saw the dog I knew you would make every effort to to get it to safety. You are that type of person. Good for you ! Love the Gus man and his friend.
Those cab corners and rockers... As a Canadian I've always wondered what they looked like without rust holes. 😂 Nice find.
I bought a BC truck with a blown engine in 2020 for like $700. 2004 and it's still minty. Think next time I need new wheels I'm going to Victoria instead of the rust belt
I cannot get enough of your Awesome content Chris it really brightens a guy's day, love the flow, love the know how, keep it up.Thanks for sharing.
Probably needs the speed sensor or pigtail replaced on the rear diff. I think you made a great buy on the truck
It's the perfect vehicle for the camper. All that usable storage space plus an auto so Jenn can share the driving on long trips. Rust free and not overly computerized.
Ahh the Calhoun Street bridge, drove across it many times when I lived in New Jersey. That one and the Burlington Bristol Bridge every 5-6 days a week. I used to drive it daily to school at TCNJ and then to work on State Street. I haven't been across it in a few years since I moved to DC for work. But you crossing it and also riding your motorcycle reminds me to plan to go up there on my bike in the spring. I want to ride to places like the Canal and New Hope. I'll probably go to New Hope this month though, they always decorate the town nice for Christmas and my girlfriend would love it.
Helping save that dog: Legendary man, made my whole day. Immanuel Kant, a renowned German philosopher, once said, “We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.” This statement is powerful and carries a lot of meaning. In essence, it means that how someone treats animals reflects their character and moral values.
love these auction purchase "will it flip" videos, would def like to see more of these auction purchases.
HEY! Hello Chris and Jen! I hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
We did! Hope you and your family did as well
Keep the truck, to use with the camper, a great combination!
Please keep doing these Chris, recently got into flipping cars on the side and love picking tips and tricks up off of you!
Appreciate all the content man. Thanks so much for everything you do! Wishing you and Jen the very best.
hey Chris if you sweep polymeric sand in-between the pavers then mist it with a hose it will make a rubber sealant and keep water from washing and making pavers go uneven. just some thoughts thats how we always did our patios. great video.
Hey, yeah that polymeric sand is great stuff. However it's a little expensive. And I don't like that over time it cracks and then you have to scrape it out to reapply. I ended up using regular sand that way I can sweep it back in as needed. And I'm not too worried about the pavers settling because it's not an entertainment area. Hopefully they stay level mostly
Flatbed transport tarp will cover the shed opening perfectly. Nice and thick and rubberized.
this would be the perfect truck to fill with tools and supplies to go potential projects running or doing recoveries. She's a keeper for sure
That is a bad ass truck for a great price. That would be an $8000 truck here in Texas all day long.
Looks like a NJ. Dot service n truck
@@user-ht1xu4gv2uthat would explain the high engine hour compared to actual miles
13k easy up in Ontario 😭
I was going to say the same!, Houston area here!
I'm in the Pacific Northwest and that looks like $10K easy. I can't believe you got that for $2800. Nice score, Chris.
Nice buy on the truck, and thanks for helping to save that dog's life on the highway. I bet Shana got more views today than she has had in a good 25 years or so!
You snagged a 5 speed f 250? Score! Plus you helped rescue the dog. Nice job man.
You’re a top man helping that poor little dog ..👍
I really like that you always include some of the history of the local areas that you're in. Always learn something new. Thanks Chris.
I'm with everyone else keep the Ford. The way it is be a great service truck and sell something else that you don't need
Man i love that auctioneer. No screaming and yelling and none of the stupid "mmmmm hey bid bida bida flip flips and sunscreeen i got 20 over here and so on and so on.
Thanks for the video always fun to watch and learn a little
Nice deed way to save the dog..need more people like that in this world
Nice score on the utility truck. Tucker and Gus crack me up. Good on ya for helping with the runaway dog he sure was lucky there were a group of people willing to help.
Grain truck style tarp would make a nice roll down door!
Good going, Chris! Excellent job assisting with the pup. 🙏
Same here in Berlin Germany. Still some green everywhere... Chris, thanks for caring for that doggy.
Love your vids Chris!!
12:20 I really enjoy your commentary , evaluation on the road . This is one great find !
Thanks for showing us your locality. Its cool for us across the pond in the UK to see.
Amazingly rust free for a vehicle from anywhere that salts the roads! Love the idea of the low profile utility bed with camper, particularly the storage and lower center of gravity. With 4WD and maybe an extended or crew cab, you'd have an outstanding platform for an adventure camper/overlanding rig. Thanks for the great ideas and inspiration!
God bless you for helping that pup 🐶
Maybe go thru how you find out about the auctions and when they are..and if you need anything specific to be able to attend..teach us ol obi juan..lol
Excellent find camper looks great on that truck cheers guys 😊
yup when i saw that dog run i would have went into the highway you showed patience and it all worked out
For the open garage I would just buy some plastic curtains like they use in warehouses that the forklifts drive thru...then in summer tie them off to the side
Yeah that's a good idea. I'll have to keep an eye out for some. Or maybe an old billboard vinyl
My thoughts exactly. You saved me all the typing!😊
I would ignore the coolant level. Thats where my coolant level always ends up being on the 6.8 in our excursion, no matter how many times I fill it to the correct line. Also, the overdrive light flash is a transmission code, I think it might have a something to do with no speedo. Also, it will throw a tans code if the truck dies while in gear.
2016 at an auction just north of Chicago. I scored a 1996 F350 4x4 with 1,200 original miles for 800 bucks. I just needed the motor. Was getting ready to put it on the trailer. Then decided to throw a battery in it just to see if mabey I could drive it on. Turned the key, checked the odometer, and couldn't believe my eyes. So I went found the manager in charge, and asked him if he knew anything about the truck. He said that the city of Chicago bought it new, used it one season for plowing snow. Then parked it right there. After I replaced all the brake lines. I basically had a brand new F350 with hydraulics for $800. Soooooo lucky!!!!
I've got a '99 F350 SD, crew cab, 4WD and came with the Warn bumper & winch set up. Came from Central Oregon "Cattle country" and is rust free underneath (no undercoating, too). Bought cheap, updated & upgraded, painted it (5 gallons of material!), and the only issue has been spark plug #4 has ejected twice. It was done once before I got it, but this last time I used the biggest insert & JB Weld'd it in place. No problems thus far. Good truck except for that- that flashing? yup it's telling you
Wet leaves, painted lines and motorcycle tires. Guaranteed a pucker moment.
Excellent job with the dog shows you care. You are the most thoroughly enjoyable person to listen to you really put on a good show I love to listen to you you’ve got so many ideas you are the Bob Vila of automobiles great job look forward to the next one. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving you and Jen.
Everything's coming along nice man you've done a great job around their love it
oh man, that camper on the yellow truck = Priceless and love it. Great idea !!! I hope I can find one like that.
With the utility bed, you can sound proof a storage area for a small generator extra batteries to power the camper, and a 12v ecoflow a/c-heater just make camping so much more enjoyable.
Great stuff helping the Pup you're a good man Chris...Turbo and Gus would be proud
Awesome Chris, love how you helped out the doggo 👍
What a concept, you look ready for a trip into the Klondike. 🥶🧑🏻🔧🚗
Pretty good buy on the Ford 😜. Thanks 👍 for sharing. Lov watching the dogs playing 😄.
Chris you have the best channel. Your content and the way you can switch topics keeping things interesting without being scattered. Hope you share the tundra work you’re doing. Love the 1st gen stuff. Keep up the good work your channels are only going to keep growing

Add some tow mirrors and it’s ready to rock
Chris, you can use this on your “will it starts “. It’ll be perfect. 👍🏻
Your really a awesome guy taking your time out for that dog. Looks like you live in a great community with all of the people stopping and trying to help catch the dog as well. Hope all works out well for you and your utility bed truck.
@14:11 try alcohol for removing marker. In a pinch WD-40
solid find, great deal given the condition on it
Good people coming together all caught on video that day 😎 Auction find videos are always fun to watch.
As an owner of a 2001 f250 from Ohio plow truck with 120k… the fact ur truck is as clean as it is just amazes me! For the price that’s a sweet deal! I’d love to find something like that
the tamped stonework in the one garage looks awesome and is probably much nicer to deal with.
Yeah it's much nicer than the gravel that was in there! Very worthwhile upgrade and only $600 in pavers. Lot of Labor though. My wrists and back hurt me for a day or two
4:30 what a difficult situation, provided support through it all , Great to see a citizen protecting even fur babies .
Dude your channel is very entertaining...keep it up!
Hi Chris, Awesome that you have a "pin" and "plastics" bin! Hi to Jen, Turbo and scratch Gus' ear for me.
Nice to see you out on Big H!. Well done Mr 😎
Wow!!1 A rustfree truck from N.J. ??!!! Good buy !!!
Love the fact you helped with the pup. That truck looks like an amazing buy.
5.4 2 valve engined are very good engines.
🗿💨used to work on heileg Meyer furniture trucks, them trans had upshift probs in od. We used 2oz of gm posi additive to straighten it out. Thanks for sharing Chris 👍
Mad props for saving the doggo Chris!
you can use a billboard tarp for the shed they come ready to accept pipe to hold them down i use them for everything super strong i have 1 that is 15 years old no damage
Thank you for helping that dog.
Look for those tractor trailer side curtains for a door on that other "garage" those are really heavy duty for that.
Amazing content and a great score at the auction it seems to function well and really looked cool with the camper on it...make a great bug out rig and off road adventure maker. Only drawbacks are 2WD but a winch on front solves that. Hope to see whatcha doing with it going forward fix or flip😎🇺🇸🛠️🤔😇 great save on the pup as well...shows what lies underneath to care that much.😊👍
I have that same Goodall jump box. That thing is a beast.
Awww, poochie. Glad that turned out well. @9:00 - is that the Washington's Crossing bridge? If so I've ridden my motorcycle over that a couple three times - really squirrely. Beautiful area.
Weiner races… lol!! Glad we saw Gus!!
Hi thank you good show. Well done with the runaway dog 👍👍 all the best 👍🐝🌞
Pavers came out great!
Thanks
Great work and flip, thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
Nice truck, wish I was closer ! Gus will be proud of DAD for helping rescue the scared little dog ! Good job ! TIMBO
Put a track up and a sliding barn door style of a door. Build the door out of an aluminum frame with tin cladding.
Good score Chris!! It looks like they hit the bottom with fluid film since its in such rust free condition
speedometer not working is more then likely the speed sensor on the top of the rear end. it runs the abs and speedometer.
Thanks Chris for helping save the young pup 👍
We both would have done the same thing for that dog, you are very much like me and I hope to be like you. You are a decent human!!!
We did same for lost dog on rte 1?trooper held traffic for. Us
Thanks Chris
Great purchase, Awesome video, Thank you for sharing 😀
Two thumbs up for the dog rescue. 👍👍
that dog hit the gas, jeez lol
Seriously great job helping that poor pup on the highway.
