RANCHERO/UHAUL Update + Things Get HEATED In Philly - NNKH
In this video we deliver the Ranchero to its new owner in Philly, along with a tour of his factory and then an update on the UHAUL Truck from the Philly hoarding lot. Things DON'T go so smooth.
EDIT: @ 6:00 I mistakenly call the Ford aerostar and Astro van. I'm dyslexic at times.
NOTE: While it's easy to talk smack about the guy towing the u-haul, the video does not show the full difficulty of the situation. The entire yard and driveway was on a slope and it rained the night before. The trailer and load combo outweighed his truck and the driveway/gate was very tight. I was honestly impressed that he was able to pull the trailer in, get turned around, loaded up and almost out. While he was a little reckless and heavy on the throttle, he seemed like a very capable guy with plenty of skill. He was beyond frustrated by the time I got there. In hindsight, the U-Haul should have been winched out at a very slow pace and loaded on the street. mistakes were made but everything worked out at the end of the day. well actually at the end of the next day. LOL

The Uhaul saga is ridiculous. Way to go sticking it out with the guy and getting it out of there! So glad you went to help him. ❤ “I’m Leaving!”
Lol, best quote of the whole video!
Ive been in situations like that where you help someone get a job done and it makes you a target or responsible party. it can get dicey when patience runs low and anger runs high. love your videos
Situations we've seen Chris in gives us a glimpse into who he actually is as a person without personally knowing him. Being totally honest he's a better man than me because, vet or not, with the guys attitude and antics, I would have completely lost my temper and would have either had to leave the guy to figure it out in his own or I would have said a lot that I would probably feel bad about later. Being a vet doesn't give you a pass to act like that
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow Are those railroad tracks or railcar tracks going right thru the main roads where you were driving? Are those even active anymore?
That was some video.I don't know how anyone could have gotten that out of there with such narrow streets and being so dark but at least you got rid of it.
One of my favorite videos of yours so far. How you handled that entire U-haul situation shows your true character. That was a perfect display of a real man. Great job Chris!
Dude I got anxiety from just watching that Uhaul removal. That dude was super impatient, I’m glad you were there to help him out.
You can always tell about the person condition of Equipment Professional he isnot
Here's a beer on me for being such a stand up guy and doing whatever it takes to get the job done! Cheers!
Thanks so much Dan!
@@NoNonsenseKnowHowbrings back memories, worked at Bridgestone-Firestone at 32nd & Market St 25 years ago when I lived in south Jersey between the White Horse & BlackHorse Pikes.
I’m completely impressed, I don’t even know how he got in there. I’m a truck driver and have been for 35 years and I don’t even know if I would’ve attempted to try to get in there. Good job Chris your patients are impressive because I don’t know if I could even come close to having the patients you had, I know one thing you had me on the edge of my seat that’s for sure.😅
I drive too- I’d have called dispatch & told them to stuff it! That was ridiculous!
patience*
If you sit and stare at it long enough you'll eventually pull through and figure out a way to get something somewhere. Helps if you disconnect your trailer from your truck if you're in a bind like that. You can shove the trailer somewhere you're not worried about being able to get your truck out of with it attached, then reconnect and roll on out.
@@opiumtrail7032 you love correcting people don't you?
@@Cameron78998 @Camaroon If people are wrong about something, it is prudent on many levels to correct them. In a healthy world the person doing the correcting would also be thanked for doing so. And, while this world is certainly anything but "healthy" these days, I will not be dragged down by that fact, and thus I thank "OpiumTrail". Language is also very important; if one does not value their own respective "native" language, it indicates they have forgotten or abandoned their roots and culture and, as such, it also generally indicates they have no allegiances to anything or anyone. This is unnatural and destructive on many levels. I have watched as language has been gradually polluted and desecrated, over several decades now. Many meanings of words have been entirely inverted, even. It is purely evil. And, of course, the usual destructive elements that have plagued this world for millennia, are the ones behind it all. And, left unchecked, they WILL destroy this world, and in short order, I will add. We should always aspire to be improve ourselves, and assist each other in doing so. Otherwise, we have failed our time here... We have failed the "test".
that Vets situation wouldve made anyone go stir crazy...having the cops called, losing your dog, truck wont start, plus spending the night stuck...glad you boys got it out. Chris youre a good dude...👍
Your the man Chris ! That is what you have to do .1st people need to chill out , relax, re-group work the problem.. The Dodge D-150 in Idaho is still waiting for you guys ! Lol ! Nice weather out there now..
That was a nightmare
A lot of patience on your end. Thanks for Being a 4x4 dude in a 4x2 situation.
@@gavindonnelly7578 Yeah .. There was a lot going on with that situation.
Damn that was a hell of a show!! Wowza!!! 👍👍👍
Stellar job helping that vet... was a bit hilarious towards the end.
If "okay floor it" was a person, my goodness you have the patience of a saint Chris.
It's hard to help someone that's emotionally driven on a one way track to failure .. my hat is off to you Chris . Patience of Job
Getting that U-Haul truck out of there looked extremely stressful. The driving style of the new owner looked more appropriate for a buggy stuck in the sand dunes than a HD truck with a trailer close to obstacles. Craziness. Your ability to stay cool as a cucumber during high pressure situations continues to impress me. I hope you made some reasonable money getting that yard cleaned out.
You showed some character here. Regarding the Uhaul removal, this is a lesson in what situations to avoid. Hopefully the veteran will learn from this. You're a good man.
"We got the triangle of death now..." LMFAO for 10 mins @ that
Chris you have the patience of Jobe in the Bible. I honestly don’t think I would have had what it takes to do what you did for that hard headed man. God is definitely smiling upon you for helping that oddball❤️😐🙏 You went way above and beyond what most folks would do for him.
You said it DS. I feel so totally as if you read my mind.
Did you mean JOB?
From the hood hinges, air horn and overall demeanor of that dude I can’t believe it went south……Big props to you for sticking with him to get it out though.
so much respect for sticking around and helping that dude out, I can only imagine how that could've escalated if you hadn't been there. He seemed super stressed and pretty difficult to deal with, but i'm sure he appreciated it!
Just want to say, whoa!!! My wife and I almost had heart attacks with this video! Insane! She usually doesn’t watch my KZhead channels, but she was hooked with this episode!! She was exhausted after watching! Keep up the great videos Chris, love your channel!
That was incredible, you have some serious patience, thanks for helping the guy out and not just leaving him to it.
Oh my god you have more patience than I would have with that guy Good to see it all got sorted though 👌🏻
I woulda been out of patience halfway through that debacle. 😅
@@MrSpeeeeeder totally, Chris has a heart of gold
I cringed when he hit the front of the Chris’s truck with no regard whatsoever.
@@andresperez8099 like he wasn't bothered 😳
@@itsmephil2255 Did you see his truck? He has no regard for his own truck. Hats off to Chris!!
That guy converted an Excursion to a utility bed. Straight up top quality craftsmanship. But definitely perfect for junk hauling, as long as it doesn't need state inspection lol.
Ohh my God! I’m so glad you filmed that man! A night to remember wow 😮
Good god bro. I was stressed watching this one. Good job on maintaining composure and helping a dude out. 🤘😎
Damn if you are willing to help a complete stranger, than you are the kind of friend we all aspire to be.😊
Holy shit brings back memories of tight holes with my flatbed. Its 130 am and now I'm wired from watching that crazy pull, thanks!!Love the channel man, keep up the great work.
Is there a way of 'double-liking' this - your patience helping someone who didn't appreciate your help, better man than me Chris!
Great Video...I added a like to your like and comment...double like???
You're a braver man than I am to drive a trailer into Philly... I can barely navigate my car in that city without incident.
Crazy Uhaul recovery from that backyard!!
@@Hard_Right - But Chris won him over and he ended up on video... way to go, Chris!
Great to see your willingness to help someone out of a jam, even they don’t know how to express gratitude. We honor his service to our country.
Marketplace encounters never cease to amaze me! Now that was some entertainment! Kudos to you Chris for getting that man outta that situation. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Definitely one for the record books! Good on you for sticking it out till the end. That vet had one hell of a day that would have made just about anyone one of us fly off the handle. Not to mention what ever else might be going on in his life. Thanks for taking us along!
Yeah at first I was extremely pissed that he ghosted me and stopped communicating. But then I was thinking how stressed out he must have been being there for 24 hours. So I tried to keep my cool and not argue with him
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow I think (actually I know) this guy suffers from anxiety in stressful situations and reacts to it by getting angry and lashing out. That's probably why his dog ran off as it was also feeling the stress which only made the situation more stressful. The fact that he has that little dog and obviously cares for it, shows that there is a good person underneath it all who needs help but can't ask for it. You did exactly the right thing to help this man, just staying there and helping out when he couldn't himself. Thank you for doing what so many others wouldn't.
Bro, you have way more patience than me! I get it though, you were sticking to your word and in the end got it all wrapped up. The last part of this video was intense, especially when that neighbor was yelling. It was way more intense than the Tundra getting a bath for sure! I'm glad you're safe and look forward to some calmer videos lol!
Yeah it definitely got a little crazy in this one. Honestly I'm surprised more neighbors didn't come out screaming. That guy had been for every 24 hours with his loud diesel truck. LOL
My husband and I watched this on his tablet earlier. I just gotta say that your integrity and good character really showed in the U-haul segment. You are a good person. We enjoy your channel, and Jenn's too.
This stressed me out, love the footage of Philly, seems like a cool place for a weekend trip. You have more patience than most.
Great video. And wow! much respect for Javier. He and his family are a great asset to this country. And there is Mr. DooRag who has clearly spent a lifetime making great decisions. I would have left him to fix his mess. I'm a vet and have no patience for people who use "I'm a vet" to excuse bad behavior. I would question if he was telling the truth.
Gonna +1 you here for saying what I was thinking. Lotta "Yeah, but..." in these comments.
What a great example of a man willing to stick it out, no matter what ...and the other side, not willing to come out and help, make's it worse by yelling at the situation . Thanks Chris for bein' the man. I grew up in the area and have now moved far away for sanity's sake.
Yelling (and more) at these guys by neighbors didnt help situation but what were more people going to do to help? Raise a Amish barn? Build a farmers market stall with a community garden around the uhaul in the lot? Put dairy cows, covered in tags and graffiti murals, out to pasture? ...I like the idea, whats the action look like? Should be about neighbors, not gentrification though.
Hell, that was an adventure!…glad the vet was ok and found his dog…..a testament to your patience…❤
Wow!Wow! Wow! The U-Haul removal! Crazy!!!
Javier's story is inspiring and typical of immigrants to this country. Where others may have seen an eyesore, he saw opportunity in the old building. With hard work and family commitment to the project, he repurposed the crumbling structure and created a profitable business. Immigrants helped build this country and my great-great grandfather who arrived in New York from his native Ireland in 1841 was a part of that. Thank you for this story.
There are purposeful people and their are pigs. Immigration status doesn't factor in the equation.
I agree thanks for sharing
White immigrants, specifically
This is the most action packed non scripted video on KZhead to date lmao
I work production and have been in hairy situations at fsuk-off AM, with a awkwardly positioned semis and pissed neighbors, not ideal! Great job Chris!
People are funny sometimes. Respect for hanging in there
Chris, this veteran appreciates you! He needed help and in spite of the toughest situation I’ve ever seen ya in you came through for him! Thanks
2 very different people you met in this video. You're a good guy for staying and helping him. Can't wait for the video on that econoline
What a debacle!! Chris you are a VERY patient man.
This is rapidly becoming once one of my favorite channels, and I really enjoy the vlog type side quest stuff. I think you've got a great formula
Even when it sucks you calmly push through it. I've caught myself on more than one occasion thinking "what would old C.B. do" and so far so good.
Gotta love that Brotherly Love at the end. Glad you got out of it and got back to Gus. You’re a good dude!
You're a good guy for helping that guy out. Thumbs up.
I didn’t realize the UHaul was in such a tight spot! Your a great guy for helping him out. That was just unreal to figure out how to get him aligned, wow.
It’s what happens when you inject a little calm to a project. Good work Chris.
This was a really fun video to watch Sunday morning while drinking my coffee 😊thanks for taking the time to shoot and edit it for us to enjoy
The Guss man, have to love videos with him in it. Great frustration on the Uhaul, you have more patients than I my man.
This is the 2nd time I watched this one and man talk about a wild night!!! Yikes!!! Thanks for taking the time and helping him out!!
BEST EPISODE EVER!!! Great way to see Philadelphia and experience the culture. Couldn’t stop laughing with all the drama getting that truck out of the yard, I can see why no one wanted it. Great show, thx again
Always look forward to a NNKH new video! Favorite youtuber out there for me right now! Keep up the great work buddy!
Your patience and forbearance with adversity and crazy people is always magnificent! Another reason I watch and subscribe...
That U-Haul guy needs his own channel. I'm a subscriber for real!
You’re a patient guy. Especially after he rammed into you. That’s life in the big city.
I never could've handled the ordeal with the uhaul. My biggest hats off to you and your amazing patience.
Dude!! That was like such a great episode! I was stressed out just watching it and loved the real life interactions! Loved it! One of my favorite episodes!
Chris, you are the MAN! I would not have been able to do what you managed to keep your cool and do! Hats off.
It just amazes me how you stick with a situation and get it sorted out. And your video filming and editing is great. You really capture a situation. Thanks.
He needed to use a stick alright.
he had to stick it out , not that he wouldn't but he was responsible to get it out of there
I had no idea how bad it was getting in and out of that area but that looked absolutely ridiculous I can't imagine anyone not getting frustrated wow great job chris!!
True that. It was definitely a tight fit. And I dont know the guys story or to bash him you know. However it wasn't impossible. They did prevail on getting the trucks out. And Chris did fore warn him about how difficult the situation was. Now If that had been myself I think I would of tried to have a couple of buddies there to help spot it. Secondly checked the area out first. Make a plan of attack. For example maybe it would of been more wise to find a spot to park the trailer. Then take just the pickup truck in and winch/pull the u haul truck out of the lot onto the street then load it up. But in the end the calm and cool head of Chris made the difference. Sometimes when things get frustrating its best to stop regroup think or even go for a walk and take a moment to think the problem out. Getting rammy or full throttle doesn't always resolve a situation.
I was honestly impressed that he had pulled his trailer in, got turned around and got the U-Haul loaded and strapped. Definitely a very capable guy
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow Yea he just seems like a brute force wing it type of guy. Good on you for helping that man out even though he was a bit of an ass. Good content as always!
At one point I thought I was watching a Camarata video. * Just watched this one again after 6 months and it was still as fresh as the first time.
Chris, "Is that filter going to clear?" the dude slams the hood closed- Chris, while cautiously taking a closer look, "Oh ... you have an elevated hood ... never seen that before." That sequence was subtly heartwarming.
Your a saint for staying and helping him out. Definitely needed you but to proud to ask. 👍
As we say in the business, "you can't make this s**t up" you are an incredible person and my personal superhero for your willingness to go the extra mile!
Possibly my favorite video to date..... God bless you for helping that dude out, most men would have walked away from that one. Keep up the good work brother!!
Holy crap… Like a bunch of people mentioned, I had the anxiety of being there just watching… Nice job Chris !
Thanks for taking us with you,, glad everything worked out.
That guy AND his truck are straight out of a movie. Kind of hilarious now since it all worked out
Mad Max takes Philly.....lol
Damn that was one hell of an ordeal. Glad you didn't get shot. You had a ton of respect for the guy.
Your patience and know how are unmatched. Way to go.
What a mess with the U-Haul that truly tested your resolve and patience to their absolute limits you hung in there for way longer than I would but you're a Good guy to stay in it and get it done.. appreciate you sharing your amazing and crazy adventures 😁🛠️🇺🇸🔧👍
Very cool of you to stay and help. You never know what kind of a day someone is having
Holy crap that recovery gave me severe anxiety!! Been there before where something is so stuck you cant seem to get it. Glad u guys finally got that thing out and didn't get shot.
That was awesome with the U-Haul that dude was crazy man! What a fun video that was thanks bro ✌️ Out
Everytime I see videos from northern states makes me love south Florida more and more
Being a former bus driver from Boston, I know the feeling of those tight streets! And diesel trucks are not popular late at night in the city! That was fun to watch!
Thanks so much Chris for sharing this with us. The excitement had me pegged, “is it going to make it”? “Oh my gosh, now what?” “Yes, I think they got it.” And because it was dark you couldn’t really see the whole picture, it kind of added to the element of the unknown or surprise. Glad that’s over for you! I did want to say I really enjoyed your outro music you chose, nice groove! Again, thanks for sharing your story!
Wow! Your patience is a real example for all of us. Thanks for hanging in and getting the job done
Thought this video was clickbait but stuck it out and deeply rewarded. Remember you mentioned this video in a future video so that's why I gave the benefit of the doubt. And also because it was a recommended watch for the previous Ranchero vids. The whole factory tour and everything. Just shocked this is 200 almost 3 views and not closer to one of your millions.
And as is always with military. Mistakes are always made. But you find a way through it and survive. You're rougher through it at the end but you survived. Basically you watched him back in the service. People gave him a hard time because of the ways and names you called him. Which is probably accurate, but without the full details, that's why people are treating the vet the way they are.
I disagree about you that people need to be reminded by there being a guard over the bridge. There are people in society too fragile to understand that it's a one way trip or the return trip is not anywhere anyone wants to be. Every single person who was lucky enough to survive says the moment they left contact was instant regret. And that's a sad way to go. Even those who might be caught in a wind and blown over. Life matters. Everyone's.
I really love these run around "vlog" little of everything videos. Also its amazing all the manufacturing that used to be in America. We are so disconnected from the supply chain today. Also not sure if you were there when the guy loaded the box truck but definitely should have pulled it into the street to load. That was quite an operation but will make a good story.
Yes, it was one of the best I've ever seen anywhere.
You are the Man Chris! Wheeling your rig through the traffic and the Neighborhoods!
Dude I am @ 40:27 and I keep having to pause it so I can laugh. This is hysterical, I know you didn't think so at the time but man this is priceless.
WOW!!!! Tht was crazy but loved every minute of it.
Wow, you won’t forget this recovery anytime soon. Now ya got another story to tell. 😁
Your a good man helping out the veteran, this is why we view your channel and the knowledge of car repairs Please keep up the good work
You are a stand up character for helping that guy out! i can imagine that would have been hell trying to get rid of a vehicle
Chris your a real one for staying there til the end he couldn't have done it without you for sure also good thing you have a crash bar. I sincerely enjoyed this episode because it reminds me of myself so much 😂. So many times I been working on something til 2am pissing neighbors off but jobs gotta get done! Great content!
Wow .. just wow. You have far more patience than I. Not sure what the deal was with helping clear that space of all those cars, but you did indeed keep your word. Your content is good, just what most people want to see. We don't need burnout competitions and racing for only a select few. Keep it real with videos like this, you'll be further ahead. I noticed you had a VGG shirt on at the end ... IMHO, Derik has strayed too far away from what got him where he is.
Thanks!
Thanks so much dennyknott
The best part was when the vet starting yelling back at the guy complaining about the noise.
I would love to see you Jen and Gus achieve a big quirky workshop. One day. I love these travel videos and getting bangers home. Cheers
The pillow guy was really interesting. What an entrepreneur...going from making JD wiring harnesses to making pillows. And the Uhaul situation...intense.
OMG ! well done dude . Most people have never dealt with this kind of shit . It takes all you have sometimes not to fall apart when it it matters most . And this is why we drink lol ! Cheers from Gary Indiana .
Dude, that was unbelievable. I can't believe you kept your cool.🤘😎🤘
