As of April 12, Crosby has 41 goals (tied for 11) and 48 assists (tied for 32). How is that the best year ever?
Couple of reasons.Considering he is 36 and only 4 players 35 years or older have scored over 40 goals in a season. Also the pens powerplay is ranked 31st. If they had a league average powerplay he would have over 100 points. The fact he has been putting up these numbers with those two factors is very impressive.
