Secret #1 - Don’t trim your mustache!
Let it go! Leaving it alone will allow your mustache to look fuller and healthier. However, it’s alright to lightly trim the split-ends of your mustache if any stray hairs start getting out of control.
Secret #2 - Maintain your neckline.
Depending on how sharp you want it to look and how fast the hair grows, be sure to shave your neck once or twice a week. Maintaining your neckline gives the beard an edgy shape and less sloppy look. Especially if your chest hair connects to the beard..
Secret #3 - Frequent beard oiling.
Applying beard oil more than once a day keeps the dryness away. By applying at least twice a day - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - will help keep your skin and beard moisturized and healthier.
Secret #4 - Ignore the cheek lines.
In many cases, leaving the cheek lines alone can give your beard a burly or haggard look. If you’re tired of the clean/sharp cut style; give this one a shot!
Secret #5 - Physical health.
Staying healthy, active and keeping your weight in line can help your beard look better. Your beard conforms to your face shape, so if your face shape is thinner and longer your beard will take on a more natural, forward-flowing shape.
best beard at beard brand. thank you for not chopping it down to nothing.
He's already chopped it down. But like all beards, it grows back. :D
down to nothing......CURRENTLY! :D I love it short, it's fun short! Can't deny someone having fun, will ya!?
Beardbrand Jeff, GREAT IDEA, I never thought about NOT trimming the top of my beard, and that makes so much sense to me in regard to the shape of your beard/face. thanks for the info bro. 👍
Lmao! I didnt expect the beard oil break.
haha this guy is crazy about beard oil!
Suuuurprise! :D

Her: It's not your beard! Me: Really!? Phew! What a relief :) Her: It's your face :/
Great video Jeff! I have learned so much from you on how to groom my own beard and continue to learn. Thanks for the great tips!
These 5 are actually really helpful. Thanks beardbrand!
No doubt, Jeff is the best. Keep going man!
Very good advice all around. I also never ever trim my mustache or my cheek line. I think some of the coolest beards are on guys who have very high cheek lines that just fade naturally. Jeff's is a good example of where this looks really good.
Beard oil break. love it!
These are the vids we love.
Dear Jeff, this video, this edit, your beard and you as a person are awesome!
Thank you so much!
Watching these videos have really inspired me. Truly. I’m going to make some healthier choices and quit smoking. Looking forward to it and definitely going to check out that shop online
Hope you were able to kick that smoking!
Can't stress enough how much listening to your advice helps. The main was the beard neck line tip. I'm not an attractive guy by any stretch of the imagination, but my 3 beard went from a 4 to a 7 just by doing that. It looks so much better from the side and makes my face look less chubby; I put it off for ages thinking I'd have to start again, but after going to an amazing barber I now have the courage to keep my neck line in check myself. I was always using oil & maintaining neck line anyway, but they are also great tips. Thanks Jeff!
That's a big step to make man, that's awesome! Keep on growing and learning new techniques, and we'll keep loving your beard! I'll pass on your kind words to Jeff! -Josh
You look attractive to me 😉
The insight this man doles out is nothing but the truth. Bravo. Bravo.
Thanks for the love!
Awesome timing, I've been bearded for 4 years and have ALWAYS defined my cheekline and mustache because. This is my first beard going all natural and it looks so much more badass.
it does, doesn't it! :D
Your beard is IMO the best beard ever. I envy your beard so much and I hope that one day I may have a similar beard to yours. Best of luck to you Jeff and beard on.
I recently started not trimming my mustache at All. I would always trim the lip part (keeping it out of mouth). I was never happy with my tash. It's been months of letting it completely grow, so it's past my bottom lips now. I just brush it out of my mouth outward. It looks way fuller now. I will keep growing till its the tash I want. Very good advice.
Best fella for beard/life advice
Jeff is the awesome beardsman. It's the most perfect beard I've ever seen. Thanks for the video, Jeff and BB crew.
Thank YOU for the awesome feedback! -Parker

Great review!
I love your look and I absolutely agree to every point if your's Thankyou.
Great advice
Thanks a lot for ur advise,ur completly awesome😇
Oh my god... I'm head over heels in love 💜
The cheek line secret came right on time I was about to trim mines...I'm growing mine now and I really like my cheek hair, they're neat and not too messy, plus they're getting thicker and shaping the rest of my beard and giving it an extra thickness....everyone else on the internet seems to be shaving their cheek hairs
That was certainly the most entertaining video from Jeff, I like that out of the box kind of thinking ;)
Hi Jeff I am a great fan of your beard. I can also say that you are my inspiration for beard growing. can you tell me how long have you been keeping your present beard.
Great video! First, I remember a while back somebody commented on one of jeff's videos talking about how "Jeff looks so serious all the time" and beardbrand responded with "he's actually an energetic and fun person" or something like that. But in this video I can actually tell that's Jeff energy is different- not that it was bad before, not at all, all his videos are a excellent. But in this one for instance I feel like less people would get that "serious vibe" due to his tone and energy. I'm glad to see that some viewers' feedback was considered :). Second, I *LOVE* the little thug life edits when you throw them in Jeff's videos. I LOL every time!!
It's all on me. It's just a matter of if the material suits a sense of humor or not. So, thank you for the encouragement!
Right on with the whole beard shape and weight loss fact. It's very true, when you lose weight your face becomes more angled and less round and therefore your beard takes on lines that are masculine and rugged looking vs round and soft looking. Good job on the whole vid, but this fact is 80 percent the battle to an awesome beard.
Cool beard ! Really like the denim jacket too
Jeffs the man. He likes to think outside of the box a little bit. I like it
Loved the editing :D
Thanks so much!

Jeff has the most badass beard ever
Awesome thanks Jeff!!!😊
welcome!
You have an awesome beard bro
Jeff, you give me hope to wear a jean jacket again. I haven't worn one since the late 80s and I missed it.
Dude, denim jackets are awesome. Get you one today!
Johnny Chavez stone or acid washed jeans with the knees cut out
Black. always black.
I still live in the 80's in fact, i think i was wearing JAMS as my bottoms that day! lol!
@@jeffreybuoncristiano I dont even own a cd that inst motley crue or gnr 😂😂😂
great video
Thanks! -Josh
Love the commentary and animations on this 😂
Thanks! ha!
I really dig the jacket Bro,!! I also have a great beard... !
About 6 weeks ago a pea sized section of my skin under my beard was dry due to a pimple. The skin, in one piece, along with the hairs fell off. I still have a bald spot. Thankfully my 4 inches of beard conceal this spot. But will that section grow back in?
To me Jeff is the perfect definition of what a real man should look like 👌🏻 respect
Jeff is definitely a "beard role model" for a lot men. - Jack
lol those funny edits are awesome, make the whole video fun
Jeff, how does it take to your beard takes this size? 6-8 months?
Awesome looking beard.
Thanks for the support!
The neck beard!! I have the same issue. I would agree, it looks weird when not cleaned up.
Good Stuff Man. Beard On!
So true on all points 🤙
very good
this video deserves 50 millions likes
nice video
Genétics is important but also to have style.,personality and good taste..
"I'm hairy high and low....like the Grateful Dead, Darling!" Truly awesome beard, I couldn't manage that on my best day and I'm old now! Clearly, you have great genetics with no hairless spaces in your face, especially in that problem area under the lower lip and beyond.
The tips about the beard's relation to the cheeks and hiw to achieve that gaunt look are spot on. I've seen so many guys who shave or shape the area just below their cheekbones only to see them resemble a kind of telly tubby with a beard. Not a good look.
Exactly, you gotta utilize your cheek bones. They are your friend and your guide. -Josh
jeff! good to see you rockin that long beard again :) shaved my 7 month beard some weeks ago and regret it, but my wife is happy :)
thanks, but not for long, the longer beard requires more personal care.
The only man left on beard brand
You have a cool beard, Jeff
What camera was used to record this? such a good quality video.
Sony a6500!
Jeff, How much time it took you to grew this much long beard?
I hope no one took offence to the losing weight tip. I'm somewhat overweight myself at the moment, and I know exactly what he means. When I'm on my slimmer periods, my beard starts coming together, it looks way thicker and it just lines up with the face a bit better. This is probably not the case for everyone, but he mentioned that it works for him, and it will work for some others. But of course, not everyone. Good video, jeff, your beard is actually my inspiration. Cheers everyone.
Worked for me as well. Started letting myself go a little too much, had a good 20+ lbs of extra weight and my face was very bloated looking. After shaving off the fat, my face looks much better, and so does my beard. And, well... my body too. That was probably the first time I ever went what I'd consider overweight. Never again!
yeah, i hope not too, which is why i used MYSELF as a reference and example. I get it, i get overweight too!
As a fat person I think he's right when I look at fellow fat people with beards. I'm a bit more lucky with my face as it doesn't really change a lot when it comes to fat storage, although this also has the effect that I usually don't lose any fat there even though I burn a lot away in several months. Decided on growing my first beard in june, I'll see how it will develop with my face.
What's the bgm while he is applying beard oil.. ?
LOL @chipmunk... Hell tip of the week for sure. Good to see you back again Jeff
"Awesome, ha!" - I dig your comedic 'modesty' clips, Jeff. Pretty funny. Keep growing, brother. Beard on!♥
Thanks Beard Dude! Your beard inspires, it helped me grow my non shit beard! Party on!
Jeff doesn't need any products for his naturally awesome beard
Loved the bits of editing in this haha! Jeff lookin fine as always 👌
"Awesome...so cool...totally rippin!" Hahaha What a legend!
LMAO! I love it when at about 5:00 he says "maybe the problem isn't your beard but maybe the problem is actually your face that the beard is on"
I went 6 months without trimming my mustache last year and it grew long enough that I could pull it down below my chin. And I’m not talking about the tails. I’m talking about the center just below my nose. And it didn’t seem like it was going to stop growing anytime soon...
haha! "Maybe the problem isn't your beard, Maybe its your actual face your beard is on!" such a good line
Jeff, do you use a bear bristle brush, or a comb, on your beard. I find that the comb relaxes me when I pass it through my beard, while the brush puffs it up. Great job!!! From beard to beard!
He uses the brush more often. It helps his beard more.
Great & funny video ! I follow also those "rules" (fight club style) : - first rule NEVER CUT - second rule NEVER CUT . . . . . . - third rule LONG "FILTER" FOR SMOKE WEED
I started my own little beard project this summer. not sure how many weeks exactly now, but I am somwhere between 2-3 months intop it. man, having a beard is uncomfortable. it just gets in the way. does it ever get better? I have also trimmed my mustache so it does not get in the way of eating. who does every beard person say this is a bad thing?
awesome
Beard oil break just killed me 😂
Re #1 - I'm needing to comb and train it OUT the way and to the side as I often now get 1/2 a mouthful of tache when I'm eating! When I go to a good beard barber in Edinburgh, Scotland, they want to trim it, though I want the tache to be practically as big as the beard - when it's trimmed more.
The stache makes the beard i always say
Can I get a link for that leather jacket! So cool!
they don't make it anymore, but it was from Topman.
