@dnasbirdingadventures DnA’s birding Adventures heads to #nebraska to check out Kearney, the Sandhill Crane Capital of the World. It’s migration time and they forage in the corn fields during the day and roost along the North Platte river at night. There are a half a million for a month and a half before the head north to breed in Canada, Siberia and Alaska. It’s a spectacle to watch and listen to the trumpeting cranes. We’re always up for some other birding #birdwatching too.
