This is basically just a small Razer DeathAdder V2 but with the specs of a Razer Viper Mini, which isn't a bad thing, it's really good. Great to have another top small mouse on the list, now for the asymmetrical crowd.
Optical switches, speed flex cable (not super flexible but a good balance of everything), low weight... there's really not much more to say, everything is good, just depends if it's right for you.
As for availability ... parts of Asia, Razer's store and apparently Amazon? We'll see.

Grip tape in the box is a cool touch. I've been cutting my own to experiment with on my current mice but being able to get them straight from the manufacturer is great.
I have both the Viper and Deathadder V2 Mini, while I love the VM I aim better with the Deathadder V2 Mini. I think its due to the shape. Both are great mice! Razer is doing things right.

Yea just got the same mouse a few weeks ago; it forced me to use a fingertip grip and so far, my aim has improved drastically.

Damn, I want a viper ultimate with smooth sides and optional griptape like this one. I find that the grips on the sides wears away over time due to my mouse grip

Het Zy I have been using your guide for a while know. But while the mouses you recommand are amazing with every mouse I used i got hand aches after only a small time of use. I use finger tip grip and have the mm710 right now. My hands are 19 by 9 your guide recommands the viper mini and the model o- for me. I was wondering which you think would have less change in resulting in my hand aching again.
I personally like having a protruding cpi button like on the steel series rival 600 as it makes it easier to switch mid game

I so wish for a new version of the Razer Lachesis. It had a LASER sensor and was quite lengthy, but the side buttons' placement was perfect - low enough that you could easily press them with your thumb, but high enough to prevent accidental clicks, even more so thanks to the fact they were thin. I still use it to this day on my 2nd computer which I use just to browse the internet. If they made a new version with a good optical sensor and made it 20% shorter, I would buy it in a heartbeat. if you see this comment, and if you can get in touch with Razer, please tell them to refresh the Lachesis with a shorter length and a good optical sensor. It's the best mouse for me personally and you can tell how much I wish for a new shorter optical version. A rubber grip similar to the Lancehead TE would also be a plus that would expedite my purchase. A Non-plastic shell is also an option, tho not very important.

k4n Depends on how big ur hand is, I recommend the model o- or the G305 up to u tho. and the FK2 is a really good choice

i own this and 4 viper mini. the viper mini is fragile with a common failure point so I can no longer recommend it to anyone unless they're willing to purchase after-market mouse switches and replace the middle button when it inevitably fails.
Finally!!! Regardless if its a dated shape, this is still a great shape to shrink down for control

I Just bought a DeathAdder V2 Mini, and it's a great mouse for me. Better shape than the viper mini for my hands at 18.5cm, and sensor feels great no issues. First impressions rating: 10/10 I'll be continuing as time goes on, my experience with the mouse Its a good mouse, though I switched to a Pulsar X2 Mini

i got a viper and viper ultimate and have used both viper mini and deathadder v2 for a week or longer. All have different feeling clicks with DA v2 feeling the best imo unfortunately the worst id say goes to the viper ultimate as after a month or so of use the clicks started to feel mushy and have a creaky kind of sound.
My viper mini's left click started to have a creaky sound too, along with MMB started to double click. They definitely need to up their QC.
@@Omarock my viper got this too but while it is annoying, the thing is... there is a warranty still. I used mine for 1 1/2 months and the buttons went squeaky. had a chat with razer support and they told me i should go to the retail store first and if they dont give me a new one i should tell them again. went to the retail and without any questions asked he didnt gave me a new one but my money back entirely so i can go and buy a new one or pick a different one. Fun thing: when i bought the viper it was 74 bucks, now its 51 bucks because well its too expensive compared to a viper mini. got my initial 74 bucks back, bought a new viper (because they had no minis in store and i dont want to use no mouse for 3 days) and have more money than i had earlier. Clicks on the new one feel alot better and it does not squeak at all so, time will tell but, dont make squeaking maybe mousebuttons a decision for buting a mouse if the rest of the package fits you well because razer includes stuff like scratchy mousebuttons in their warranty, if it happens you just get a new one.

@@coke1354 Yeah I ordered a viper mini for around $60 NZ a while ago and it arrived in perfect condition. tbh I expected it to be real cause I frequently order things from aliexpress and I get refunded for items that aren't as described. All in all, it's a safe website and you shouldn't worry about it much when you purchase goods from there.
