  • Cant believe how good Floyd's cardio is, i think one of the most underrated aspects to him. To throw that kind of speed into EVERY punch takes tremendous energy. To be able to sustain those fast twitch muscle over 10 rds without slowing down even a fraction, unbelivable.

    • It’s his best weapon. He used it to destroy Conor. He came out barely through any punches until 4th round by the 10th Conor couldn’t continue. Floyd uses that cardio better than anyone else out there! It’s a combination of his defensive ability and cardio. He can stay safe and wear you out with out ever slowing down.

    • @@MrMarco855 Let me give you a graph of every Floyd fight AFTER Corrales: Carlos Hernandez, 33-2-1 future IBF Super Featherweight champion, had wins over Gregorio Vargas and Narciso Valenzuela Romo (who knocked down De La Hoya in their fight), went on to beat Justin Juuko, a 23-1 Steve Forbes and former world title challenger Juan Carlos Ramirez. Jesus Chavez, 35-1 future two division champion with wins Emanuel Augustus, Javier Jauregui, an 18-2-1 Louie Lejia, Troy Dorsey, and 33-1 Juan Jose Arias. Went on to beat Sirimongkol Singwancha, Carlos Gerena, Carlos Hernandez, and Leavander Johnson. Jose Luis Castillo TWICE (first fight was a robbery) Victoriano Sosa, 35-2-2, former world title challenger who had wins over Francisco Lorenzo and perennial contender Harold Warren. Philip N’Dou (no relation to Lovemore Ndou), 31-1 with wins over 21-1-2 Jesus Zatarin and 26-0 Cassius Baloyi. Demarcus Corley, 28-2-1 former WBO lightweight champion who had wins over hard punching Randall Bailey, Inaugural WBO Latino welterweight champion Felix Flores, and Ener Julio. Would go on to become an underrated journeyman, and also went on to beat Darryl Tyson, an 18-0 Gabriel Bracero, a 23-1 Paul McCloskey, and a faded Vivian Harris. Henry Bruseles, 21-2-1, basically just a crappy version of Miguel Cotto. Only notable wins were an old Ben Tackie and an old Cesar Bazan. Then came Arturo Gatti, who he schooled with ease, back when the two weight champ was still at the top of his game. Gatti had beaten Wilson Rodriguez, Jesse James Leija, Gabriel Ruelas, Tracy Harris Patterson, Calvin Grove, Micky Ward twice, 55-3 former champ Joey Gamache (although the weight advantage was INSANE) former champion Leonard Dorin/Doroftei, and 32-0-1 Gianluca Branco. After Floyd he beat 37-0 Thomas Damgaard as well. After that, former world champion Sharmba Mitchell, who had beaten an old Bazooka Limon, 32-2 kickboxer turned boxing champ Khalid Rahilou, Rocky Lockridge, Terron Millett (who once dropped Zab Judah), Felix Flores, Vince Phillips, 38-2-2 fringe contender Carlos Vilches, Ben Tackie, Lovemore Ndou, 35-1-2 Michael Stewart, 30-2 Reggie Green, and he went on to beat 33-1-2 Jose Luis Cruz. Speaking of Zab Judah, that fight’s up next, he was a former Undisputed Champion at Welterweight, in addition to being a multi-weight champion. After that, one of the slowest unified champions of all time, Carlos Baldomir, he beat both Gatti and Judah but had insane weight advantages over them. And now we get to the bigger fights: Oscar De La Hoya, five division champion with a stacked resume. 43-0 two-weight champ Ricky Hatton, whose aggressive style got dismantled by Floyd (albeit with some help from Joe Cortez) A slightly past it JMM, above where he fights best, but still dangerous, and also a good counterpuncher. Then came three weight champ Shane Mosley, who actually had Floyd hurt at one point, however Floyd recovered and won the fight. 29-2-2 Defending Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, he had wins over former WBO Bantamweight champ Alfred Kotey, Mike Arnaoutis, Nate Campbell, Vivian Harris, 27-0 Andre Berto, Tomas Barrientes (who had a win over Augustus)and Emmanuel Clottey (1994 Commonwealth Games participant), former champ Carlos Maussa (albeit he sucked as champ), and 1996 Olympian Dairo Esalas. Then came a 37-2 Miguel Cotto who was already elite by this time but went on to be a legend. 31-1-1 two weight champ Robert Guerrero, had wins over 23-0 Selcuk Aydin, Michael Katsidis, Malcolm Klassen, Vicente Escobedo, 35-1 Spend Albazi, a 23-1 Jason Litzau, two of the worst champs ever Eric Aiken and Juan Polo Perez, 30-2-4 Enrique Sanchez, and a 28-1 Berto. Went on to beat 24-1-1 Yoshihiro Kamegai, Victor Ortiz, and got a 2nd win over Berto on the last ever Showtime card 2 months ago. After that was a 42-0-1 Canelo who got schooled by the more savvy Floyd, but bizarrely CJ Ross scored the fight a DRAW. Followed by the two Maidana fights. Maidana was a former champ on the comeback trail after humiliating the undefeated multi-weight champ Adrien Broner. The first fight was tough for Mayweather, the second not so much. Then came the Manny Pacquiao superfight that turned out to be a stinker, and I will not elaborate on the fight itself but Manny was already a legend by this point. Lastly in terms of world level fights, the Andre Berto fight. Berto was 30-3, was a former champ, and had tried so hard across several years yo get a Mayweather fight. When the time came however, this man looked terrible against Floyd, just looked like a deer in headlights. As for the McGregor fight, it’s the weakest in his entire career so it doesn’t count toward much besides Conor’s fame from being a two weight UFC champion.

    • @@pandarasengan6709 Canelo was obviously a top-level fighter, but he was still a kid at the time. Floyd still deserves credit for beating him, but Floyd definitely cherry-picked his entire career. You can only find a few fights in which his opponent was top level and not compromised in some way. Smaller, at the end of their career, coming off of a loss, he even closed out his career against a non-pro fighter. Hard to defend that. If you examine his career and most of his opponents, you'll find the same thing,. In his very best prime years, Floyd had 8 fights. Most/all were against lower-level opponents or guys compromised in some way. Guys like Baldomir and Mitchell were old/far past their best. Guys like Victoriano Sosa, Philip N'Dou and Henry Bruseles were overmatched B/C level guys. Corley had just lost to Zab Judah when Floyd chose to fight him next. Zab had just lost to 36 year old Baldomir when Floyd chose him next. Gatti was washed up, far past it, he retired soon after. Those were the 8 guys Floyd fought when he was 25 to 29. Meanwhile there were a dozen or so better fighters in/near their prime ready and willing but Floyd ducked them.

Pernall Whitaker, even a prime Oscar I think would have beaten him. He was a old time great but not unbeatable or the best ever. In the last years he ruled boxing never went outside Vegas never took big risks. The canelo fight was impressive. On his boxing style was winning more than entertaining never took any risks. Mostly one... One two but not combinations. With that defence and stamina, very very smart. Most entertaining was outside the ring and I personally do not like his attitude

    • Mayweather fans always make up their own stories. Corrales landed 4 punches in that round. Floyd should have been disqualified and lost the fight. He committed a double foul in the 7th round. He hit Corrales on the back of his head, foul #1. Corrales was down on one knee for 2 seconds before he got hit, foul #2. That's the same thing Roy Jones did and they DQ'D him. It was Roy's first loss.

He beat Fighters that were ranked: *P4P* _#2, #2, #3, #5, #8, #8, #9;_ As well as multiple _other_ Ring Champs, and a dozen others that were near/at the top of The Ring’s Divisional Rankings. The debate is over, as to “Whether or not “Mayweather is _one of_ the All Time Greats”. The question, is _whether or not-he’s #1._ And I’ve never heard a reasonable argument, for why he’s _not_ #1.
