    • Time for a Deadpool 3. Just to get it out of his system again. Cause right after Deadpool 2 he made detective Pikachu. The best videogame movie ever. It's a low bar but it had a decent leap over Mortal kombat (original).

    • That's probably because plenty of scenes like The Rock vehemently pleading his innocence (what if he'd convinced her? Going to jail: kind of integral to their plan) or Gal Gadot intercepting the call to refute his identity actively played AGAINST the twist. You don't get points for a twist when you set it up poorly.

Like it’s awful when they say “listen Brad, I know we have been partners for 5 years and that you don’t like this job and that you had a hard life and everything else about your life ive known but have to explain it today bc idk why” lol.

  • On the one hand, yeah, the set up for the twist might have been a bit heavy handed (although honestly I don't think it was too bad, most of those things you showed did have a different meaning within context), it's infinitely better than throwing in a twist that hasn't been set up at all and makes no sense just for shock value, like a lot of movies these days

  • I will admit they got me with the twist. Layed nice clues, each could be interpretted another way and did explain plot holes with the heist that I'd noticed before. Solid, not that shocking, twist. However it completely ruined any kind of relationship Renolds' and Johnson's characters were builiding which was the only thing I really liked about the film. Though I am actually looking forward to that sequal because now they've set it up for that kind of relationship bromance thing to blossom.

  • I’ll be honest despite what people say I really enjoyed and loved this movie, and even though I probably should’ve I actually didn’t see the “plot twist” at the end coming, honestly like I said I think I was too busy enjoying myself while watching a movie, and I will also be honest in the fact that I have been told that when it comes to movies I am pretty easily pleased. Don’t get me wrong however I know all the flaws the movie has and I’ll probably just watch it every once in a while when I’m bored and have nothing else to do.

  • I think the name "Bishop'' is a reference to the chess piece, where there's 2 pieces moving diagonally and 'not straight' like other pieces on board, so yeah, Gal Gadot's character doesn't have to have a name because she's 1 of the bishops...

    • Regardless, it doesn't make sense. The movie's logic says pym particles work by shrinking the empty space in atoms (which also doesn't work, but let's just pretend it does). If that's the case, how could they go subatomic? Did they shrink the atoms so much that they collapsed on themselves? If so, it would cause a nuclear explosion.

  • Come on, you could have mentioned the Community episode on Conspiracy Theories. This whole movie's plot was essentially that. "Do you understand what a conspiracy is? When you conspire with everyone you come across, you're not really conspiring with anyone. You're just doing random crap."

  • I made sure to go onto Netflix's site to disable that autoplay function, much like I do for EVERY APP & WEBSITE THAT DOES IT! I especially HATE when apps do that autoplay crap because on MANY apps it can ruin your recommendations! I make sure to disable it on my computer too since online videos drag down my web browser's performance!

After you turn it off on their website, it SHOULD stop autoplaying videos on all your devices. I had to consult an online help article to find out how to do that since I'm no techie.

  • I 100% agree with this honest trailer. It was a very generic movie... but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. Sometimes instead of drama packed excellent screenwriting, I want something simple and generic. Something that I know I can enjoy without having to get too invested in it. It was generic for all the reasons stated but it was also entertaining for the same reasons.

    • Except I'm pretty sure most of it wasn't actually expensive. Reused, repurposed, and piggy backed on... like. Im pretty sure all three brought most if their own wardrobes. And the scenes were filmed on preexisting sets. Lol. The whole thing came across like they borrowed everyone from other jobs. Including the actors.

  • The Honest Trailer funnier than the movie it's about. Though to be fair I did chuckle a couple of times in the movie. Also Ant-Man needs the respirator on his suit when he's small or big for that very reason, incompatible oxygen sizes and capacity to extract it from the air per his size. The real question though is how does his mass sometimes be huge when he's small, but other times not? Pretty sure a 170ish pound guy the size of a pinhead would sink into the ground, and break a lot of stuff, and kill people. The answer? Pym particles are magic!

  • I’d recommend Last Night in Soho, Green Knight, and The Last Duel. Red Notice is visual fast food, a smooshed ketchup hamburger and the movies I recommend are Steak and Lobster yes they take time and effort to enjoy.
