    • @@goodtimestobehad The trailers for this show did itself no favors. Trailers are to hype interest and granted there have been movies that had great trailers and did not perform well when watching the whole thing but if Velma's trailers are a highlight of the show, ya I don't blame anyone for not watching it. By your logic I bake you a pie and put whatever I want into it, but you can't judge it because you didn't eat it even though you can see what I put in it & it isn't going to be pleasant, but you still can't say anything bad about it because you haven't eaten it. Also, word of mouth is very powerful and generally (not always) it is a good indicator of something being worth watching.

    • I find it bizarre how often that happens. Sometimes when you bring passionate fans to adapt a popular franchise it can still flop but you rarely see people who dont like a franchise making an adaptation that turns out good. Reminds me of how some old comic book movies flopped and the people making the movie say they hate comic books. That's like hiring a militant PETA vegan to cook your steak and having them flop a T-bone that's been cooked to charcoal on your plate and acting surprised about the result.
