I bought Marcus Rashfords 2023 Rolls Royce Wraith Mansory edition for a salvage auction after Rashford crashed it after a football game. He bought the Rolls Royce for £700,000 making it one of the most expensive cars he owned. But seeing it at a salvage yard made me think theres a good deal to be made!

Well good luck Matt there is actually a 77 add to the part number so that Rolls-Royce parts do not have the exact same number as the BMW if you remove the 77, you could probably find the part as a BMW part. Really enjoy watching

Realoem would also show which parts are also used in other BMW's and can be used interchangeably, similar to that ford turn signal on the lambo he was building.

A road trip in this beast with Nico to monte carlo when she's done is an absolute must. I'd love to see you guys do a reasonably priced "race car" special. Where you, your dad, Nico and a couple of your other keen driving mates have a budget of say £10k each all in. To buy and modify if they wish the fastest car they can around the nurburg. No rules other than you must drive it there also and it's road legal. Bonus points if it drives back too😂 Get the stig to do another cameo to settle it with his fastest lap in each at the end. 💪🏼👌🏼

I’m in awe of you all to complete this Rolls Royce. Who ever buys this will still own something truly unique but it won’t just be a mansory but an ‘ Armstrong -Mansory ‘ . Can I suggest you design some Armstrong badges to go on the car because no-one yet owns an Armstrong Rolls Royce and this would have even more credibility in the real world than a Mansory. Armstrong -Whitworth for example is a high quality engineering name from the past just like Rolls Royce Merlin & Griffin. The Mansory brand is ridiculously extortionate and clearly differentiates those with more money than sense like Marcus Rashford . Ok he’s done a lot of charity work and seems to have sort of the right intention but could have bought a more sensible car to help his credibility with fund raising . You on the other hand are genuine , creative energetic articulate and enthusiastic about up-cycling crashed cars. Clearly they are good for the environment and no doubt in the future you may do a battery car but for now you keep us all entertained with your courage and dogged determination and all your team play a massive part . As someone thats rebuilt a few cars, motorcycles, and snowmobiles its always best to have a fully complete parts one, paying full retail for parts adds up fast. The trick is to look for one thats a mechanical write off. Also if you buy a complete runner you can always sell parts that you dont use to offset the cost, or keep those parts for future rebuild, and repairs.

Watching you buy a car that is nearly 3 times more than whats left on my mortgage, properly look at what you've brought and see more damage than expecting, then see the costs of replacement parts, then come up with a plan to buy another (don't tell Hanna😂) beggers belief. It's not a case of "if" but when it will be back on the road, there are times I see the doubt set in but the whole team you have backing you up with your dad, UK and transatlantic friends we all know the journey will be epic, frought with setbacks and dilemmas but the laughter in tbe face of adversity will get you through. Things like this make me want to retire and come and be part of the team. Bring on the Wraith repair.

Hey Matt, Great videos I absolutely love them. It motivates me to work on my own car but for last 6 months or so I am in grave pain because it is causing me air suspension issues. I knkw it is not possible but if by any chance you could help me diagnose and fix it it will be great.

Aren't these based on a 7 series BMW. Surely a V12 7 series would be the car of choice for spares. I have a 6 series Gt which is also based on the 7 series floor pan. Cracking video as usual 👌

He needs 7 Series F01 parts, your 6 Series is based on the 7 Series G11 (CLAR Platform), the F01 platform is only used on the 7 Series and the Rolls Royce Dawn/Wraith/Ghost

Mansory is the best and priced out package for my new AMG GT S and it wasn’t cheap. Looking at some of the ORG cars on their channels they are the cream of the crop. Get it drivable then start adding the Mansory pieces to your budget. This will be great to watch. I think Tarvish or Houston still holds the record for buying recked exotics. You need to buy stock in Copart.

"Just a label" - exactly...and it is just a pathetic flex by rich people to show that they truly have more money than sense to do something like that to a RR. I mean, the bloody thing weights almost two and a half ton so removing a few kilos by swapping trim out with carbon fiber is just moronic. I wish Matt would go another route and instead trying to build like-for-like, get some proper coachbuilders and woodcarvers involved and replace a lot of the trim with handcrafted items in natural materials....that would elevate the build instead of making it another piece of "Gucci wank".

You're crazy! How cool is it that you and your team are not afraid to get your hands dirty! It will be very cool to watch the sequel! The prices are cosmic, of course, but I think you can handle it as always! And what if you look at the details in the Emirates?
If you have the other side of these Mansory parts intact on the opposing sides you can bring the intact side to a 3D scanner and have them scan and print the parts in metal, resin or even continuous carbon fiber for well under what was quoted for the accents. Check your local tech colleges. I've actually printed and milled engine parts this way that were out of production. The other thing is most of the chassis on the wraith are shared with the 7 and 8 series BMW. As long as your engine is intact I believe this is still a feasible car to repair as so many of the parts are shared with much cheaper cars...don't buy another wraith. That's stupid.
Normally yes, that was my thoughts as well.. create a template and mould and have them custom made. However its not a normal audi or bmw.. and the car wont hold value.. maybe it'd be ok if he wasn't a youtuber and you could get away with it.

@matarmstrongbmx the starting issue could be that the piro fuse has partially failed or another part of that line has partially failed, that’s why you can measure the same voltage across the piro but the resistance will be sky high, so when you try crank the motor the resistance creates a massive voltage drop and can’t power the starter correctly, so that’s why when you try start it many times in a row it gets better as the connection overheats and temporarily fixes itself, that’s my thought after watching your attempts to start it, cheers

I'm constantly amazed by how positive and easy going everyone is in these videos. I've seen spanners get thrown over such trivial things but Matt and his Dad just laugh as they get told how expensive and big a task is. Great energy.

But when he was talking about that sidestep and it would have been two months wages you know he hasn't forgotten.
