  • The water isn’t to reduce grip to help the burnout occur, it’s to save your tires from wearing out super quickly while you do burnouts hahaha (They will affect traction and allow you to do a burnout on a lower powered car, but that’s a side-effect. Nobody is gonna look at you like you have no power if you use this technique)

    • Ehh I mean waterboxes at the track ARE to reduce friction, but that’s because a lot of cars there have slicks on them, and it helps them get rid of dust dirt rocks etc.but that’s the track, totally different than doing it in regular tires or radials on the street.

  • 😂😂😂😂😂😂 back in the day I had a special traction bar set up on my 67 stang. I didn't smoke the tires..just went forward....like really fast...11.2 street/ 9.28 track...you guys Crack me up. Of course full headers were leggal back then as long as they did not stick out past the body of the car.....you would have loved the 6 foot long yellow blue flame from headers...😂😂
