This low profile keyboard can also make your wallet low profile, AMAZING.
Very true!
True..
No necessarily.. there is k621
This made me laugh out loud lol
feel sorry for you if 200 bucks thins your wallet
I love this channel. so consistent, detailed without being excessive, and considerate of different kinds users. Everytime I'm researching my computer I come here and find the video that I need to make an informed decision. Thank you, switch and click!!!
Thoughts on her newer, heavily edited, over produced(?) and "zany" style of videos? I preferred the more subdued approach seen in this video, personally, much easier and less headache inducing, but to each their own.
I am glad to see how enthusiastic you are about this keyboard. I bought the G915 full layout version over the summer for my work-from-home office. I love it! It is for productivity, not gaming, and I have be come addicted to typing on it. Expensive, but well worth it if it is as durable as other mechanical keyboards.
"Must-have" and "It costs a ton of money" is a combination that brings physical pain to me
Haha but how many people do wireless gaming
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Probably not that many at the moment, huh. I guess you got a point there... I just wanted a cleaner desk tbh.
@@SirCaco you can try coiled cables, they look so good and gives your keyboard some personality. all your keyboard needs is a usb c cable
The audio in this is much clearer than the last one, I've been binge-watching your channel lately and 20k to almost 300k before this year ends eyy
I really wanted to not like this keyboard, but it's pretty awesome. I got the white tactile version and it looks stunning. The keys are sorta unique for mechanical brown tactile keys, but I actually find them really nice to type on. A few gripes, but I've not yet found another keyboard as nice to use for work and gaming.
I've watched tons of G915 videos, trying to decide which kb to get. You’re the first reviewer who has mentioned that the switches are Kailh. I can only give one like but consider it as two. :-)
KITTY! What a wonderful addition. Love your guys vids and guides, everyone on the team does great work!!
Thanks so much!
best review of this omg thank you might be getting by summer time
Es el review que necesitaba ver. Muchas gracias!
Betty I have watched quite a bit of you videos lately. I love them! But what are your thoughts about buying this keyboard for typing only? 🤔 You seem so knowledgeable when it comes to keyboards for touchtyping! I was looking at the white version. I am mainly into programing but also just general writing. My main priority is getting fast typing. Thanks 😊
That zoom at 8:50 was niceeee.
I have G815 keyboard (same but full sized and wired). Best keyboard I ever typed on. Perfect keyboard for me. I have tactile version and I really like it. I like everything about this keyboard. Slimness' of it, look of it, feel of it, sound of it, performance, a lot of useful extra keys... Perfection. Everything I wish to be in a keyboard.
I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I have seen you grinding super hard and producing amazing videos. I just wanted to remind you to take those extra days that you need, and take care of yourself! You will always be able to edit, post, or record that video that's on your mind another day if you're ever feeling down! Keep it up, you inspire me!
I appreciate that! I actually like doing all of this haha. Plus we're taking some days off for the holidays. I just schedule things out ahead of time
@@SwitchandClickOfficial I am glad to hear all of that, it was just a friendly reminder to take care of yourself. :D It doesn't seem like you need any days off or anything, but I can tell you are on the up and up channel growth wise and just wanted you to know. The true supporters and fans will be here no matter what! Keep it up, and thank you for all that you create!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for your review. The most complete review about this keyboard. You got a new subscriber.
Thanks for the sub!
You shouldn't even barely notice the lightspeed wireless because it's actually tested by the LinusTechTips team to be faster than a wired connection, ironically. Great review, I'm definitely buying this keyboard now to complete my setup.
Great review!
I love your new audio setup just like I love your cat. 😁
The white version is Gorgeous! Good review...nice mellow colorful voice : )
I have the white version, had it nearly a year, and it Still looks brand new. The White caps are MUCH better than the black.
Love my white G915 TKL. Looks stunning imo. Just wish it came with other switch options, but I really enjoy the short throw tactile switches on it.
just got this yesterday, loving it so far
do you still love it or do you have a recommendation because im thinking to order one too, thanks.
@@Chemikant get it I’ve had it since January and still love it. I’d recommend the white color one.
the best reviewer so far :)
I find your voice very calming!
Can you recommend an alternative to the logitech g915 TKL which is also wireless, TKL and hot swap for gaming
Love this keyboard!
Ah yes the 915 TKL, still one of my fav! Sorta a gamer ;)
Haha we're all sorta gamers
@@SwitchandClickOfficial I'm 110% nerd gamer , lol
@@TheTechne any mmorpg?
And we're also old. :P How more comfortable is it for the wrist compared to a high-profile one?
I've used a full sized keyboard forever. Bought the Logitech g915 full sized and the TKL version. Why I haven't switched to tkl before is beyond me. It's so much better to write on! I thought I'd miss the numpad but I hardly used it anyways. Much more ergonomic to write on, better desk space and being able to have the mouse closer to the keyboard makes me better in games basically. This keyboard is also the best keyboard I've ever tested...
The setup is looking amazing! I looooove the cat in this video too. That cat is huge! The logitech G915 TKL is definitely cat approved.
She's 10 lbs :) Norwegian forest cat
@@SwitchandClickOfficial she’s beautiful!! Love your channel and am a huge fan of Switch and Click! Your reviews are great!
Love your channel. Where do you buy keycaps for this?
Got mine last week and I love it the mouse is bad ass
Board is 100% worth it. Been rocking it for 2 years now. All time go-to.
What other options are there for low profile TKL boards? I'm also curious why you're not a fan of them? Is it the low travel distance of the keys or something else?
This is by far THE BEST wireless keyboard that I ever used when it comes to BATTERY LIFE... This thing is a beast!!!! I got it in December and it's been 3 weeks since I chargerd it and I still have 82% like what???? Yes, I use it every single day to study for HOURS and HOURS and my wife likes to play on it as well. I am using it connected to my mac and my windows PC and it's a breeze to switch between then both. I do have both options the TKL (White) and the FULL size because of the numeric pad. I do find myself using the TKL much more because of the look of it being white, it looks so so clean on my setup. I had other wireless keyboards in the past and I always went back to a wired one because of the battery life but this time I don't think it's happening at all...
I have the full version. Love it. Wish I had the TKL tho.
I still remember buying the full sized wired version and going “if they made this in a smaller form factor and wireless, man that would be amazing”. And here we are now!
Ikr
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Just need PBT caps 😞
How is the wireless connectivity compared to the Durgod Fusion? I have one of those and I hadn't noticed much latency, but I'm definitely not at a level that I'd likely notice.
I have the full version. Got it before TKL existed. I love it, low profile is so nice, easy on the wrists. I have the clicky version. It's not too loud and I love clicky, so sue me, lol. It's a very solid build. No rattling or wobbly space bar etc. It got bricked via firmware update, wasn't on my end the Logitech servers had issues during update (back end). I was out of the 2 year warranty support. I contacted them, after trouble shooting and the confirmation it's bricked. They agreed to a one time replacement. So that's pretty nice. I am however now apprehensive of doing firmware update, don't want that to happen again, lol. I have yet to receive it since I just got the support mail. But I'd imagine they honor it. A good move by Logitech.
Do you wish you have TKL or do you like full better?
@@joshuathefirst I would prefer TKL. But the full is fine it doesn't affect my "setting" I have for gaming. It doesn't hinder my mouse movements. I would just prefer it to be a smaller foot print.
Logitech always provide those usb extension cable for every wireless products, just in case your rig is quite far/ hidden/ any situation that might somehow create delay for your keyboard input. Oh and I think those black foam are not making a good background for you because of your black hair, but that's just my opinion lol. Nice review as always!
It's also to make it easier and quicker to connect the cable in case you get a low battery warning while gaming (for the products with a rechargeable battery).
i've been using this keyboard for 2 years now. and it's still awesome. any recommendation for new silent switches and keycaps for gaming for this keyboard.
Man this looks great. If they made a version of this with regular switches so I can easily swap the caps, I’d be so on this.

@Nouvraughtthere is cherry low profile switch with cherry style stem I guess his/her mean is this kind of "normal" switch For switching keycaps, maybe for a low profile keyboard like this, DSA profile keycaps may be a good choice?
Dont, the keycap on mine broke just thru typing, the little latches are flimsy and cheap, as its a crtl key, you cant buy replacements.
@@engjds can't buy replacement of g915 keycaps? Maybe you should look a bit more on internet... Using my tkl 8 to 12h a day for 2 years 6 days a week and piping caps regularly to clean them and none of them have broke... Maybe try not hammering your keyboard 😬
@@hitthesynth6417 Its a miracle you havent broke one, most do, that plastic retainer is sub mm garbage.
I don't need this video but because I like the channel I still saw it
True MVP right here
Look at this brown nose lel
How is it after all this time? I wanted the white TKL version but not having PBT keycaps is just asking for yellow caps later. That, plus I keep hearing how people keep having broken switches etc. (Basically the pins that hold the cap into the switche are super flimsy and low quality)
Logitech should release soon G915 TKL upgraded Mark II version with USB C connection, PBT keycaps and new switches, great video as always, many thanks 👍😉
That would be straight up fire
Wait what really? I just ordered one yesterday 😂 i could send it back though
Awesome video. Please do more!
Ps. I bought the keyboard after this.
More to come!
This is a great looking keyboard. Programmers really seem to love this and the full size. What has impressed me about Logitech keyboards is their durability. I am typing this on an original G15, which is now 13 years old. It feels like mush now but it has survived all kinds of abuse. So price, while high may really be a value in the long run. Saying that, I am still leaning toward the Roccat TKL Pro for a gaming board. The optical switches look promising, unfortunately I cannot put my hands on both of these boards before buying.
Wow 13 years is pretty crazy
Uh.. tkl is literally the worst layout for programming. You get the worst of both worlds - no numpad so no convenient one handed number input, and no convenient home-end-pgup-pgdown and arrow access of 84. There's just... space that doesn't do anything other than limit your mouse movement
@@NJ-wb1cz full size is good for programming, i can code from my bed
@@dariusvlogs3634 wat
I have this keyboard linear switch one and i love it.
Nice review, i don’t really like „gaming” keyboards but I enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed!
Well, just because it's good for gaming doesn't mean it's not also good for most everything else too.... ;)
You got it for the employee discount nice!
I'll probably get the G815 full-size version. I just can't live without a numpad. It makes inputting numbers so much easier and more convenient. I also don't have the intention of moving my keyboard off of my desk or moving it a lot in general. Browns are what I'll go for. Less noise, but still some feedback. The low-profile nature might make the switch to mechanical a bit easier. The keys of my Logitech K120 are relatively low-profile as well. I do wish all the characters were illuminated though. The Apex 7 from Steelseries is also on my list. I love the font and the colours, but I don't like the idea of combining the multimedia buttons into a single button. It makes it seem more vulnerable to me and it might be a bit annoying (3x is back, 2x is forward). Furthermore, I'm generally not a fan of sacrificing functionality in favour of gimmicks - the OLED screen in this case. Edit: I had the back and forward swapped.
You can get G915 with a numpad. Wireless keyboard is not useful only when you are moving it from one place to another. It also does free up space from your desk, because you can put stuff between you keyboard and monitor, because there is no wire tangling them when you move your keyboard to different angles and spots. You can also lift it away, if you need more desk space for something else. Of course it depends on what kind of setup and living arrangements you have. My desk is not only for gaming, but also for working, eating and all the other stuff I need a desk to do, beside cooking.
Praise the Lord, Betty's back with a vengeance ! Great video, you're getting more and more professional and comfortable at this... also at killing people in games !!! Nice keyboard but far too expensive for my tight budget ;) Love from France.
Thank you so much! Reading that made me laugh haha
Uuuhhh you have a pretty good aim! 1:23
The cat is so cute awesome review
Thank you 🤗
love the video
TY!
The G915 sounds so nice :)
I've used it for two months and it's a really good keyboard in almost all aspects, except it's not cheap. I'm wondering if I should try the keychron k1 or k3 for the money. Any suggestion about comparing them?
I returned it eventually and bought the TH80. Much better keycaps, better tactile feelings and easy to mod and hot swappable!
The music is getting quieter - almost at that ASMR level! ^^
Haha almost
What is the name of the background music you used at the start of the video? I have been trying to look for it for hours now, as other youtubers use it as well :( The quality of your videos keeps getting better though :D

I have this keyboard with the browns. I had two razers (Ornata I know gross and the black widow). For work I use the Razer Pro Type (would not recommended due to connectivity issues, double clicking that does not fix no matter what, and trash battery life). My issue with razer is just my personal preferences. I wanted a tkl and wireless. The only tkl i think rn is the Huntsman. My GF has the Huntsmen clickily (which are nice). But i wanted to break away from Razer. I have had issues with QC still (not as bad as all say just enough to be annoying). I saw this tkl (low profile which looks nice and a tkl and wireless). I love the tactile switches (I bottom out and it doesn't ping that much which is well). Only big gripe is why ABS and why these weird stems. I mean I get it because of the low profile, I feel the switches also help with the pinging, and the RGB like you said Also, why micro-usb... but those two gripes are not that big of a deal for me. 10/10 recommened this keybaord. Would totally buy this again. Now for the Razer pro type hard no
Bought this one last month, sent it back after a week. To me, the feel of the keys/switches felt a bit cheap and flimsy. Caps were a bit more loose than I like, and the pins holding them in felt a lot more precarious than a normal stem. I get the impression that the deck got almost the entirety of the manufacturing budget. That, or they wanted to make the thing as flat as a keyboard can possibly be and made certain compromises in other aspects of design. I got it at a considerable discount - almost 100 euros off the standard price - and even at that I wouldn't recommend getting it. EDIT: For context, I was using the Brown Switch/Tactile version. It's possible that the Linear/Red Switch version is better, and that this type of keyboard just doesn't suit tactile switches.
If you're used to click y switched on trad keyboard the tactile on this slim of a keyboard won't please you. But Frome somebody that 1st used a ton of keyboard, switch, keycaps form factor, membrane; 2nd use a keyboard 8 to 12h a day 6 day a week and 3rd have the tactile version of tkl for the last two years and recently had the opportunity to try side by side with my old but unused g910 and and g915tkl and a full size brand new, the tactile tkl is just perfect feeling and most of all sturdy AF. I'm keeping the tkl in the end but the test of this brand new full size just reminded me that yes the switches can have a mushy feels the first 2 weeks, but very quickly feel more clicky and loose a bit of the first μ course resistance without loosing their précisions. Two years after, more than 10k+ hours of use, they still feel more precise than my 200h max gl clicky on my g910 ;)
Can you review the Logitech MX Keys?
Hey girl I was wondering if you could help me out. Can you recommend a budget friendly (under $70 or so) wired mechanical keyboard with customizable rgb lighting features? Rubber pads and kick stands would be a plus! I’ve been looking at way too many for my boyfriend for Christmas and they’re starting to all look the same! He plays a lot of shooting/ fighting games if that helps! Thank you for your help if you see this!
Will the dongle also connect a mx master 2? Is it a unifying receiver?
First and also insane keyboard and review
Thank you SO SO SO much!
Can we have a long term review on this? Especially how to key caps have held up?
I’ve used this for 2 years. The keys held up and they are still good as new after cleaning. I charge it every 2 months and carry it with me sometimes. The biggest complaint is it has no flaws and I can’t justify getting a new keyboard.
I have the full-sized G915 but found it too fragile and slim for gaming but I have to admit I bought it for its looks more than anything else. I fall back on my Corsair K100 for gaming as it feels so much sturdier and for typing I prefer the Huntsman Elite for its nice clicky tactile feedback. For light casual surfing I'll use the G915 since it doesnt involve a lot key presses unlike when gaming.
I need a few red or white keycaps for my 915. Enter, Esc, Backspace, Shift. Any ideas where I can find GOOD ones? Thanks!
Would you lube and/or O-ring mod this keyboard - to lessen the wobble and noise?
good job, good review , thanks ,
Glad it was helpful!
What's the Lightspeed connector compared to the unifying receiver. Can this be used with Logitech's unifying receiver ?
Which switches is good for only gaming?
Hi! I have this keyboard (used your review as a basis whether to get this or not hehe). Are there any replacement keycaps available in the market?
Nothing worth spending money on, no.
Split between this and the moon lander. Comfort or a wireless great looking keyboard
$180 is not a ton of money, it's a small price to pay for a keyboard that works exceptionally well. I have this and I love it. It was money well spent!
Where can you buy PBT key caps for the Logitech G915 keyboard?
What a beautiful cat 👍😁👍
Thank you very much!
Does this have any customizability in wireless mode?
18 minutes review but actually it felt like 5 minutes. Good review 👍👍
Glad to hear that!
@@SwitchandClickOfficial good work always appreciated.
I love this however I wish there were more artisan keycaps available for GL switches.. I’ve only ever seen one.
The Logitech G915 switches look like the Havit HV KB390L (blue switches that are really light). Maybe too light. The Reddragon K621 that uses cross tip keys on a red switch but fells slightly more agile. All of them, damn fast.
Could you provide a link to the low profile PBT keycaps you chose? I didn't see one in the description.
I don't know any, I rarely see them in group buys
Can i add custom keycaps to it
Put tape unter the caps to stop them rattle. Love it. It gets lubed next.
Gave a thumbs up once I saw the cat🤷🏾♂️.

Helloo, do you know if the key's paint peels off on this ezily? I brought the g415 and I am scared to buy any logitech keyboard cuz of paint scraping off :(
Super review , Thanks , i buy it , bye bye
I am so glad there are good alternitives to this keyboard nowadays. 220 is far too high, also why was this premium board not shiped with USB-C?
What's a good alternative for this? Been struggling to find a wireless tenkeyless mechanical keyboard that has dedicated media keys and a volume wheel/ knob.
@@koda_pig I use the keychron k3e1 German iso. The newer models should have better Bluetooth and software support, But i use Mine only wired. I heard from my series the battery is Not that good, but they increased IT. There are No dedicated media keys but you have these functions in the f row
@@selectthedead thanks for the reply, but that's really not a good alternative for someone looking for a keyboard with the features the G915 has.

What's better, the Epomaker 84, Epomaker GK68, or the Hyperx Alloy Origins Core?
GK68 is probably my fave
hi, can you suggest a keycap for my g pro x keyboard? I want to replace the keycaps because the letters are now fading. TIA
Hows it when compared to keychron k3 ?
Any budget recommendation similar to this? :C
Not one that actually has minimal latency
can I use the dongle of my gpro superlight?
Should review and compare with the Reddragon K596
I have the 915 TKL and the Reddragon K596. The 915 TKL feels more premium out of the box but if you lube the K596 switches and stabilizers it is a much nicer typing experience imo. The 2.4ghz of the 596 is also fast and reliable. The biggest thing I don't like about the 915 is the rattly keycaps due to the loose 2 prong design switches stems. The 915 is a little more unique in that it is very low profile and compact. The 596 is more like a very budget enthusiast keyboard where you can open the case and add foam, upgrade caps switches stabilizers etc...
Having the Bluetooth adapter on your desk instead of in your computer can make a big difference for reception for some people.
Is it the best one for typing?
